Just slowing into a park we hop out of the car and arrive at the store.

Me lazy as I was definitely not a gentleman, I let her get to the door first and she held it for me as I walked in behind.

The clerk was half sleep at the register as she glanced about, her phone on the charger face down on the counter.

"What will you get?" Asked the girl who I joined on a whim.

"Hmm." I replied as I followed her down an aisle which had pastries.

"I'll take all I can carry of these." I said and grabbed some donuts and cookies and went to place them on the counter.

'ah crap, I forgot I don't have money.. wait could magic work? Ugh.. not it won't. Somehow I know how my magic works and it'll just scare the shit out of everyone.'

Thinking this I wondered if control would work but how do you control something that isn't there ... Wait what if I controlled whether it was there or not? Worth a shot.

I reached in my pocket after dropping my stuff on the counter it amounted to maybe three bags worth. I wondered how long it would last as I pulled out a twenty from my pocket.

I was almost surprised but kept the flow an naturally gave her the twenty.

I spent the entire twenty on the spot and she put everything in bags on the counter.

Next was the girl who brought me here she had a few cookies and a ice cream along with a water.

"That's all you want?" I asked her.

She looked into my eyes then back at her stuff.

"Yea I'm fine.." she turned to pay the clerk but instead I handed the clerk another twenty after reaching into my pocket.

I took the change she handed to me and she gave the girl her bags.

"Thank you." The girl said as we walked out of the store with bags. I sighed inwardly as I was at the door first so I held it.

We walked out an got in the car putting our bags in the back.

"No problem I just thought you would have wanted more." I said I was excited using the power I couldn't use before.

"Well... I do need a few home improvement items." She said.

I brought a card of my pocket with my name on it.

"Your name is sleep?" She asked as she took the card.

"I nodded." I changed my name to sleep an just never made a last name.. I don't like them.

"..." She got out of the car an went to buy her stuff.

While she did that I rested my eyes.

Three minutes later I heard scream.

While I eat there I thought of smoking and just as I opened my eyes a blunt appeared in my mouth over tasting like the donuts I would eat soon.

I looked through the front glass of the car and to the store, there was a crowd of zombies around the front of the store and just in front of the car. I looked around and though the crowd was less dense as It came behind the car it was itmmidating all the same.

"What the hell?!" I asked damn near dropping my blunt.

I looked back in the store and found the girls dragging what ever they could find to barracade the locked doors like they even dragged everything off the aisle to drag the empty thing in front of the door.

"Sleep! Stay there." The girl was me awake an our eyes met.

"How do I do that?!" I shouted.

"If they kill me I'm going to the after life!" I said. 

"Good point." She giggled and I reached to the back to open a pack of chocolate chip ahoy cookies.

I took two at once and bit both of them dropping crumbs all over the place.

"Are you eating in my car?!" She screamed.

I smiled.

"Better survive if you want to do something about it!."

"How am I suppose to survive something like this?" She said after standing back from a fully barracaded door the clerk who helped did the same.

"I would say.. do your best?" I said and ate both the cookies and reached for more.

"Can't you help?" She asked.

"I don't have a weapon.. well I do but it's not for this." I said and took the blunt between my fingers as I pointed at the zombies.

"Funny.. there's a weapon in the back." She said.

I reached in the back and after a minute my hands found something that felt like a cooking knife.

I lifted it along with one quizzical eyebrow and blew smoke after taking a drag on my blunt again.

"That's .. I always forget to take it out my car.!" She said with a strange smile.

"Shit..." I cursed..

I found a fuckin.. nope I won't predict my luck just yet.

I put my cookies in the back and sighed as I hopped out the car. 

My blunt between my index and middle finger as I took a drag an blew smoke waving the knife around like a fool. The zombies growled and came for me as I shut the door.

Eyesing one zombie even though I felt the gaze of the girls in the store and the zombies coming at me I let the come forward as I dropped the knife to my side.

I focused an in that moment I took control of the whole situation and walked forward casually stabbing a zombie In the chest. Or I tried but the skin couldn't be pierced.. I thought for a moment..

'if zombies are this strong then humanity is in for it.. '

I sighed and pushed the zombies instead as I made my way to the front door.

The zombies slow moving behind me.

"Why didn't you kill them!?" The girl screamed agitated mostlikely.

"The zombies won't die to something like this."

I said and waved the knife upward.

"Stand back." I said and took another drag on the smoke before blowing smoke.

"What are you?..-" she asked.

I punched the glass while also modifying my physical and mental abilities till was satisfied.

The glass cracked and both girls backed up.

"That's why."

I said and put the blunt in my mouth while taking a long drag as the girls took some room back and I pulled my fist back. The smoke filled my lungs and I threw the punch thus breaking the glass.

"Shit.." the girls stood their mouth agap.

"Told you babe I'd save you." I said. 

I moved the aisle barracade aside with once hand just to keep holding my smoke with the the other.

"Who?" The clerk finally spoke up.

I ignored her an gazed into the eyes of the girl I came with.

"Call me that after we get out of here alive." She said.

I shrugged.

"WE gotta make it to the car first.. just push the zombies aside they stay standing but it seems they can't take being pushed."

On our way to the car we made it fairly easy but the clerk quietly parted and went to her car.

Suddenly when I pushed a zombie aside the girl grunted as she tried pushing the zombie aside. It was the same as the others so why is she struggling after reaching her door.

I went over and helped but I realized.. it was one of the zombies I pushed earlier.. 

"Shit.." i cursed.

"What?" She asked as she went to her door and got in.

"These zombies can only be pushed once." I said .
