The bad news is I don't plan on continueing this story. I overstepped my ability with this and learned a few leasons from it. The story seed that started it was really good but I wasn't ready to combine the two concepts and my ability to describe crafting isn't quite good enough at the moment. I really enjoy crafting stories but I will have to put actually writing one on the backburner for a few stories.
Now the good news is I don't want to give up on the idea behind this. The thought of a cultivator being reincarnated into a scifi world and playing a VR game is really interesting to me. The setting for the VR game though will be changed and the story is going to be basically restarted. I am going to go with a fantasy setting and a single world. I must admit that going with a scifi setting was less because I had a good story for it and more because I was reading a scifi story at the time. My grounding in fantasy and myth is much firmer. Also because I am somewhat tired of the twist I promise that there won't be any "reality was fake and the VR was real" nor just the "VR is real" in general. They are good twists but it feels like I have seen too many good stories take that turn recentlyish. There will however be a slight touch of "Your skills translate between the game and life" going on because I like the idea of old masters going into the game and kicking butt as well as someone learning how to cook in VR then being able to in reality. That is one of the big things about "real VR", if you learn how to crack an egg into a frying pan it shouldn't change too much in either one. Though there will be a bit of depth to that as just killing weak monsters to grind your sword skill and letting system assist do it wouldn't allow you to be a sword master in reality.

Lastly as a bit of neutral news the time between chapters will more on the weekly scale. More specifically it probably won't be anything like every monday but rather a chapter whenever I have a day off. Neither here nor there really. Just how life works out.
