Camera POV:

Ashely: "Are you getting this Pete?"

Pete: "Yeah. Looks like a slaughterhouse in here."

The Camera panned around the lobby of the hotel, showing the taped off crime scene and outlines of the removed corpses. Dried blood stains mare the carpet besides the outlines. There was at least a dozen outlines of bodies already removed from the premise. Police and hotel staff talk and walk around the lobby. 

Ashley "Ready to start Pete?"

Pete "Starting in 3..... 2.... 1...."

Ashely "Good Evening everybody, we are here at the Markus Heights Hotel sat in downtown New Saint where a a string of murders happened just hours ago this morning. The police still have no idea who could have killed 14 people in this very lobby without being caught. With me is Sargant Francisco who was one of the first few officers at the scene of the crime. What can you tell us about this mass murder?"

The camera moves to show a bald cop with a full mustache fidgeting to get his words in order.

Francisco "Well Ashely the best we can say is that the murder was ritualistic based off the evidence the detectives have found. Each body had a ritualistic carving on them. We still can't find out what the symbols mean or where the killer is."

Ashely "And did the victims have a connection to each other or were they all random?"

Francisco "As far as we can tell they were random and had no connection to each other besides staying at the hotel. None of the victims were employees of the hotel. we have already questioned the employees and looked at the security cameras. The killer pretended to be another guest. There was no trace of him signing in or showing his face to the cameras."

Ashley "Thank you Sergeant Francisco, is there any features of the killer you can share to the audience to keep a look out for?"

Francisco "For everyone at home please be on the lookout for a person of average height and size wearing all black. A black robe and the symbol of a smiling moon. Avoid him at all cost and call the authorities if you do happen to see him. Call us if you have any evidence into what he looks like or where he is at the moment is always important."

Ashley "There you have it folks, a new ritual mass murder is on the the radar of the police. If anyone has any information on this new killer please contact authorities. Ashely Miggan out."

The main camera's light turns off while the camera itself keeps recording the voices while the carpet is all is being shown.

Ashely "Thanks again Officer."

Francisco "Of course. Be sure to get back back to the office safely. This freak is a special breed of insane. Have a good day you two."

The steps of the officer echo softly as he walks away from the pair.

Ashely "Thoughts on al this?"

Pete "All honesty this is some crazy shit. 14 people murdered and no one heard the screaming? Jesus Christ there was a kid among the victims Ash. How the hell did no one hear 13 people people scream but they heard the last one? Hell why didn't any of the victims get away? It's 14 people versus 1 guy. Did none of them fight back or run? This whole situation is mental. This city is going to hell this past year. This is the 5th serial killer this year."

The camera is laid on Pete's lap as Ashley drives the news van. 

Ashely "I know what you mean. Last year we were all fine and had just some smaller crimes. Now.....now it feels like the world has gone crazy. When the mass killings stated I was excited that we finally got a big scoop to propel ourselves higher up the ladder but now all I wish for is for this stuff to stop. God that Preschool one just made me sick to my core, could barely eat for a week. My sister has a kid now and that one hit too close."

Pete "...... One day this shit will blow over.... hopefully."

Ashely "I hope so too Pete, I hope so."

Pete "Oh shit I left the cam still running."
