~Congratulations! Your soul was selected and has been transfered to Avalon, a world of might and magic! Welcome to Avalon.~

'...'

A voice clearer than even the most pristine salt flat back on my previous home reverberated inside my mind. It was like a heavenly blade piercing through a homemade training dummy. It swept away all the cloudiness that plagued what I can only describe as my consciousness. I started to notice figures in my somewhat limited vision, but I couldn't see much in terms of features. I could only make out a few things for sure actually. One was that the person who was holding me currently was my mother. Another was that the figure who was beside her seems to be my father. The other figures seemed familiar but I couldn't be too sure. Now I know you are all wondering why I'm not panicking or questioning anything really.

Well, the answer is quite a story actually. The monologue on about the island earlier, yeah that was me.. I've been aware of not only my situation but also the situation of the empire loosely through a special source. She a cool person but others treat her like a god.. Well, I guess you could say she is a god. She is called Maka by the humans of the Empire of Man. But the draganians of the Dragan Theocracy call her Edra. The elven folk of the High Kingdom of Elvar calls her Enki. I just call her system though, the reason for that was because she is was basically the spirit of this planet. She wasn't an active force in the world but could influence certain things for instance the seas around Tahlat as well as the island itself. Actually, most of her influence has been spent on the island for who knows how long, even she doesn't remember how long it's been. She is the one who informed me of the information I passed along, of course, I asked her for more but said she couldn't say much else. Something about interfering too much with destiny.

I tried to focus on the voice again but it was gone as quickly as it came. While trying to find clues on the voice something soft and warm entered my mouth and lukewarm liquid began to slide down... I think you get the gist. It seems to be my mealtime. It's not that I'm not hungry it's just that I.. get sleep.. sleepy.. Well, I'll be back soon..

*Six months later*

Sorry about the previous debacle. I've spent these last half-year learning to control my body along with some basic mana techniques that my family uses every day. I learned by watching them for hours on end without the slightest idea of how to even start replicating their motions, but today is my lucky day. While my family did their usual routine of cultivation, which is what the system informed me of after I considered many different names. My mom instead of placing me into my crib like she usually would do, kept me in her arms as she sat down along with my dad, grandmother, and granddad. My granddad would lead my family in their training sessions and would help anybody if they had any troubles or felt lost along their martial way. He was clearly the strongest out of the bunch with my grandmother being a clear second. The system estimated that my grandad was peak king ranked warrior, which was haven't been seen on the mainland since Denos's rise and eventual fall. The King class has been lost to time, even Denos wasn't a true king ranked warrior, only that his body had reached the king realm but never solidified. She also informed me that my grandmother was a peak rank saint realm magician, which was also one of the rarest forms of saints to exist, especially during these times. Her mana had reached peak saint rank and was greater than even Denos at his peak. This was quite shocking given that I've never seen them leave the manor other than to get food or anything else really. Then again I'm only like six months.

The system also informed me that my father and mother were both peaks ranked duke warrior and magician respectively. It seemed that I was surrounded by monsters, but it turned out I was the true monster after all. As my mom sat down with me, my granddad asked for permission to test my aptitude with his aura like all king ranked individual could. She agreed of course and handed me over to him then got herself settled afterwords. My granddad unleashed his aura slightly while making sure everyone surrounding him could handle it, of course, they had no problem hanging in. They all turn towards me with hopeful looks in their eyes only to be shocked.

Stolen novel; please report.

Of course, they had a reason, it was because their six-month-old was not only cultivating in the same technique as them but also showing signs of the mana condensing rank, which as you have probably guessed would be heaven-defying to anyone no matter which era they came from. There has simply never been a baby on record in any region on this planet that has reached any completion of cultivation. It was a sight to behold for sure.

I, on the other hand, was engrossed in another feeling entirely. There was a fuzzy warm feeling running through my vien-- no, the system quickly informed that these were in fact meridians, which ran alongside my veins. I was focused on the feeling of cultivation when I heard the same crisp voice in my head that woke me from my 'slumber'.

Congratulations! You learned the cultivation technique [Human King Mantra] - n/a*

*This technique is beyond [Divine]. No other information is known about this technique.

I was more shocked than even my family when I heard what the voice said to me. I've never heard of anything beyond king ranked, let alone divine ranked. I wanted to ask my family so many questions right that very instant, but my currents circumstances didn't allow such things.

Since I couldn't ask them I decided to interrogate the system instead. She unsurprisingly gave me the familiar answer of 'Destiny blah blah blah, interfering blah blah..' I've honestly given up on asking her specific questions, she is only good for general things it seems. I circulated the mana around my meridians once again with a little difficulty at first but I eventually got the hang of it after a few rounds. After one full round of smooth circulation around my meridians, I was completely exhausted. I couldn't lift my head to look at my family's reaction but I guarantee that it was a sight to see. I was slowly going to sleep as more time passed and my parents took this time to put me to bed. The last thing I remember was my parents looking as if they gave birth to an angel with horns. I quickly dozed.. off after that...

*Six more months later*

I have just turned one and my family is currently all gathered in the dining area to celebrate it. I didn't care for such occasions in my previous life and that seemed to carry over to this life as well. I try to play along but I just can't kick my old habits. Instead of ruining the mood, I decided to give my family a little surprise of my own. I've decided to speak to them for the first time. I sprung it on them at the end when they were wrapping things up. It went about as smoothly as you would think. They immediately jumped up as if they saw a ghost or some legendary beast from olden times. My grandad and grandma both search the room quicker than I could blink, while my parents came to my side to protect me I guess. It went a little something like:

"Who's there!? Show yourself!"

"Stay down son, We will protect you with our lives."

I quickly caught their attention and settled things by speaking again. They were shocked but not as much as my first incident. I couldn't speak full sentences mind you, but that didn't stop me from saying complete words. It allows me to get basic thoughts across to them at the very least. It was fun seeing their reactions for a while, but the excitement quickly faded. I 'talked' with my family for the rest of the day up until I fell alseep.

The rest of my childhood was about as normal as it could be in a world of cultivation, well at least for a monster of a cultivator. As you already know I reached the mana condensing stage at six months, which is literally unknown. The mana condenseing rank is consisted of two realms, which I seemed to entirely skip over. The two realms were known just as the low and high realm. The next rank above mana condensing was called the ascenion realm generally. The six ranks of this realm are known as the Baron, Count, Duke, Saint, King, and Emperor. All these ranks usually had low, mid, and high tier individuals spread through out them. I'm currently at the peak of the mana condensing stage, but I was met with a bottle neck that I couldn't seem to overcome. I wanted to know more about the realm that was hinted to be above the ascenion realm, but I was told that that information was useless to me right now. I didn't agree but I couldn't speak my case so I had no choice.

Now I guess we just wait?
