The Impure Members begin to fire the ground repeatedly a few feet from where they were. They were building up a 10 feet high fiery wall that destroyed anything in its path. Penelope immediately backed away from it. While being persistent, she tried to blast the wall but her attacks proved useless against it.
The fiery wall began to set the forest into flames forcing countless forms of impure life to emerge out. There were small dark sticky creatures moving about on the surfaces of trees and the ground. Whatever they touched, they corrode in acid until there was nothing left. There were also dark snake-looking creatures that had spikes on all parts of their bodies. With their tough rocky bodies, they could wrap things into suffocation and great pain.
Penelope saw the wall of destructive energy approaching her. She also saw the many creatures coming to her from her right and left. Using her powers, she summoned from the ground 30 spirit beings in the form of soldiers. They dressed in looks similar to Penelope but made of light energy.
She directed her weapon to the wild creatures causing 10 soldiers to engage against them. As they were fighting the creatures, they had to avoid getting harmed by the creatures. They had to avoid the acid from the sticky creatures. With that threat, they also have to avoid the spikes from the snake creatures. The soldiers weren’t able to damage the creatures. The reason was due to the snakes’ tough skin and the sticky creatures’ jelly-like bodies. By using similar fighting skills like Penelope, they were at least able to drive the creatures back.
Penelope focused her attention to the approaching fiery wall. She influenced her remaining soldiers to charge towards it. Once they touched the fiery wall, they were consumed inside it to never be seen again.
Penelope kept backing away while summoning 12 spirit beings in the shape of wolves. They placed themselves in front of her. She influenced them to run around the fiery wall for an attack on the other side. The wolves went behind the Impure Members. As they could collectively attack, the Impure Members quickly turned around to blast them away into energy.
Penelope seeing that the Impure Members were vulnerable for a moment, charged towards them. They quickly turned around to reform back up the fiery wall. She immediately stopped moving forwards. Now moving backwards, she was able to get out of there before the fiery wall could consume her.
She moved back some more until her back touched a rough surface filled with spikes. Turning around, she saw the snake creatures from before but there were 90 of them. They had wrapped themselves together around the trees to form rocky sharp barriers to prevent her from escaping. The same thing was happening all around her. They had effectively trapped her with a wall of destructive energy.
She slashed the snakes in vain. No matter how much anger she unleashed on the snakes, she couldn't break free. Their skin was too tough for her assault. She thought of climbing but the number of spikes on the snakes made that difficult to do.
She quickly turned around to see the fiery wall a few feet from where she was. With anger, she was forced to run off to her right. During her run, she discovered that the snakes were forming new barriers that were forcing her closer to her destruction.
She shot an orange sphere to the sky. It formed into a spirit being that looked like a living spaceship. She influenced it to be above the Impure Members. The Impure Members were underneath its shadow.
She then influenced it to slam down onto the Impure Members. Unfortunately for her, the Impure Members directed their firepower upwards in time. They formed a wall barrier to keep the creature suspended in the air.
Penelope: She expressed anger and frustration. “Why are those freaks firing like this? At some point, they have to tire themselves out...”
As she was about to attack, many sticky creatures touched her body. Acid started to slowly eat her flesh making her experience pain. When she tried to take them off, she discovered they were very sticky. It was similar to working with sticky bread dough and glue. She tried cutting them with her weapon but they kept reforming themselves back to their original shape.
Extreme pain eventually forced her to the ground on her knees. The longer the creatures were on her, the worse the pain got. When she paid attention to her soldiers, she realized they were nowhere to be found. She suspected that the creatures must have finished them off.
She glanced over to the saucer-looking creature that was being suspended in the air. Many sticky creatures with the snakes were attacking it. The snakes were wrapping themselves around the creature to dig their spikes into it. The sticky creatures used acid to inflict pain to it. Eventually, the creature burst into light before fading away.
The Impure Members then reformed the wall of destructive energy again but was 20 feet high. As it approached her, she closed her eyes for a moment before opening them.
Penelope: “If I’m going down... I’m going down fighting!!!”
She summoned a shield around herself. It did nothing to remove the sticky creatures off of her body. She ignored the pain while preparing herself for the inevitable. In an insane attempt, she raced into the wall of energy. She soon received a rain shower of their attacks. Flames surrounded her everywhere.
She tried to summon more reinforcements but she couldn't. With all her might, she kept trying to no success. As long as she was in the flames of destructive energy, every living creature she summoned would be instantly destroyed.
She kept on fighting still since she refused to give up. Overtime, she was having a hard time resisting a wall of flames that were pushing her from all sides. The sticky creatures on her body were slowly draining her means to fight.
She decided to concentrate all of her powers into maintaining her shield. Quickly, she summoned five more shields to reinforce it. In no time, the force of their combined attacks was enough to crack and break her shields. Fiery energy consumed her leading to her bleeding out orange energies. She struggled to move to get out of the hell fire. The constant assault from them made her collapse on one knee. She had her arms together in a futile attempt to resist the Impure Members' collective attack.
Penelope: “This was a huge mistake!!! Curse those freaks!!”
She was about to lose consciousness until she had the look of figuring something out. She smiled a bit then held her weapon to charge her powers. Form her weapon, she summoned a new powerful shield. Its strength was enough to push back the wall of destructive flames. It also pushed the sticky creatures off from her body in the process.
With the relief that the constant pain was over, she got to her feet. She flexed her body for a bit just to fight off the pain. Despite having bruises and injuries, she was still willing to fight.
Penelope: “I have to send in stronger fighters...”
Penelope charged her weapon before summoning out 15 spirit beings. They were in the form of warriors covered in sliver suits of heavy-duty armory. Looking at their appearance, they had four arms with long blue hair that stretched to their shoulders. The weapons they carried were made of living bones that appeared like blades.
Penelope: She expressed seriousness. “Now it is you that don’t stand a chance...”
She wrapped each member of her army into their individual shield. With her army fully protected, she influenced them to attack the Impure Members. Her army went out of her shield to engage against the Impure Members. The Impure Members tried to use the fiery wall to push her army away. Fortunately for Penelope's forces, they were able to move through the wall of destructive energies unharmed.
The Impure Members were forced to stop firing constantly to split up to different areas. As a result, their fiery wall vanished. Replacing it was an environment where a war was going down. Each of Penelope’s warriors fought against an Impure Member. They were firing shots and using their blades to attack. Some of her warriors threw their weapons like Boomerangs. Some of her soldiers used their weapons to clash blades with their enemies. With her soldiers using fighting skills similar to hers, the Impure Members were in trouble.
The wild animals tried to assist the Impure Members but even they were outmatched. Some of her army was pushing back the wild creatures. A few were able to blast the snake-like creatures away from their positions. The snakes’ departure led to their wall barriers breaking apart and disappearing completely. A look of happiness was on her face when she observed the progress her army was making.
Through the exhaustion and injuries, the Impure Members were losing the war. Her army was defeating them one by one. At some point, all of the Impure Members were laying on the ground defeated. Penelope expressed happiness for her army for becoming the victors of the battle. They looked at her for a moment before they vanished into light.
She went to her knees exhausted. The sound of Bastructour laughing forced Penelope attention to her. She saw Bastructour standing in front of her to a distance. With anger, Penelope looked at Bastructour dead in the eye with teeth showing.
Bastructour: “Tired already? You are not going to last very long here...”
Penelope: She yelled in anger. “I won't be played around like this!! I’m not your entertainment!!!”
Bastructour: “You are as long as you’re here... Why not reflect on the Impure Members you have slaughtered?”
Penelope: “What about them? They’re scum...”
Bastructour: “Just too ignorant to see the real monster in front of you...”
Bastructour snapped her fingers for Penelope to express shock.
Penelope: “No... It can be...”
Penelope discovered unconscious ordinary people lying on the ground. She realized that the Impure Members she slain down were really innocent people. They were the helpless victims in cells in the Conversion Room. Witnessing what she had done made her clutch her fists in great anger.
Penelope: “This is vile...”
Penelope: She stared at Bastructour dead in the eyes. “How dare you set me up to harm these innocent people!!!”
Bastructour: “How could I not? The Human Race may be weaklings on Earth but they are very important in this existence. I helped Humanity who had been converted by the Conversion Device to become strong warriors here. By putting them through the hell you went through, they will become the proud army of the Impure Order!”
Penelope: “Really?!? Just to serve as your slaves?!? As pawns for your twisted ambitions?!?”
Bastructour: “Such narrow vision... The Impure Order believes that the human race has hidden potentials and powers. If developed and harnessed, will lead to them having the power to influence this entire galaxy. Their power will be beyond what we could comprehend. That's why the Impure Order is after them. It is to use their potentials to strengthen our order and to end the Awakener Threat. With the Humans serving as Impure Members, the Impure Order will be an unstoppable force!!”

Penelope: “I’ve seen what you monsters did to the people in the Conversion Room!! You took their rights and freedoms away from them!! Your vision will never be a reality!! I’ll make sure of it!!”
Bastructour: Her evil smile went to anger. “You fool!! Do you think you could stop me!?! Do you think you could stop the Impure Order!?! You are nothing but an infant compared to us!! As for saving people, you obviously failed in that... You're the monster, not me... Humanity is naturally a corrupted species that was meant to embrace Impurity!!! Face the reality!!! Humanity belongs to the Impure Order!!!”
Penelope: “I had enough with your mouth... I’ll revenge them by finishing you off!! I promise... The Dream Club Members will become strong. Strong enough to end the Impure Order itself and your Lord!!”
Bastructour: “You ignorant human... Go into that portal so I’ll handle you personally... I’ll enjoy tearing your body apart. One piece at a time...”
Bastructour vanished into darkness leaving Penelope alone. Right in front of her, she saw a portal. It revealed a dark city of some kind. With determination, she ran into it. On the other side, she found herself in an advanced city but was darker in design. The buildings were intimidating and corrupted. It was the place Martin had visited earlier.
Bastructour: “Welcome Penelope to the Impure City... Here, you will become an Impure Member like the rest of Humanity... You were sick of me before but...”
Bastructour raised her weapon in the air for many creatures of energy to emerge out from the ground. Porcupine, bear and snake creatures moved to her before a flash of light occurred. Once that light disappeared, Penelope witnessed Bastructour's new appearance. Bastructour’s body was the same in looks but had every creature functioning as a part of her external body. She was a creature with an external body of dark energy.
She had four dark snakes moving as if they were about to make a fast attack with their fangs. Their bodies were coated with sharp needles that made them look very spiky. A lot more than the snakes Penelope faced earlier. Two snakes were on both sides of Bastructour. They hugged Bastructour's body on her shoulders around her arm pits.
On Bastructour’s chest had a bear creature growling angrily. Its yellow eyes stared directly to Penelope. Its hairy brown fur was fused with Bastructour’s arms and legs. Her hands were fused with its claws.
Her back was sharp and pointy like a porcupine. The sharp points appeared to be made of metal. Penelope looked on with seriousness then went into a fighting position.
Bastructour: “How about when I have power over all forms of spirit beings here? I'll give you two choices now... It’s either you surrender to the Impure Order or suffer by my hand...”
Penelope looked on with concern then washed up some confidence.
Penelope: “I don’t care how much power you have over the creatures here, I’ll wipe you out!”
Bastructour: She went to anger. “You arrogant fool! Very well!!”
They charged towards each other with their weapons but that proved unwise for Penelope. Bastructour blocked her blade immediately with her claws. A shocked Penelope then went in with a kick to Bastructour’s body. One of Bastructour's snakes was able to bite on Penelope's leg to stop the attack. Penelope expressed pain from that bite that she couldn't move.
When Penelope was restrained, Bastructour punched her in the stomach to send her flying to a distance. Penelope was able to land with her feet firmly pressing the ground. She went down to her knees to hold her stomach. Bearing with the pain, she slowly got up to observe a laughing Bastructour. Bastructour grinned evilly before charging to her like a wild bear.
Penelope summoned 50 spirit beings in the form of warriors to aid her. They stood in rows of 10 facing an approaching Bastructour. With Penelope’s powers, she influenced them to attack. Bastructour used her claws to claw through them. Every attack Bastructour gave Penelope’s warriors left them with severe injuries. In the process, Bastructour’s snakes grabbed some warriors to throw them to a great distance. They ended up smashing into buildings and into other areas in the Impure City.
Bastructour was able to make it to Penelope. As Penelope could react, Bastructour kneed her in the stomach. She spun around to kick Penelope up into the air. Turning her back, Bastructour jumped upwards to dig Penelope's body with her porcupine back. Penelope gasped out of pain.
Bastructour moved back to land to the ground before facing Penelope. She then jumped up to headbutt Penelope to the head. The force of that attack sent Penelope crashing onto a building.
Penelope moved off that building to leave behind a body imprint. She went to her knees panting while holding her head at some moments. Resisting her injuries, she looked out to her surroundings to discover that Bastructour was gone. She got up to observe the area like checking every side of her including the sky above her.
Creatures burst from the ground around Penelope. As a swarm of bees, they were moving wildly in her presence. Looking at one of them, they were crab-looking creatures that had armor made of sharp blades. With their blades, the creatures proceeded in cutting her up on many parts of her body. Penelope was gradually receiving more injuries while trying to fight them off.
The four snakes emerged from the ground to surround her from all sides. They took advantage of a distracted Penelope. When she noticed them, she wasn’t able to defend herself in time. The snakes wrapped around her arms and legs. They then spun her many times to fully wrap her body.
Once they have done so, they started to constrict her body so their spikes would dig into her body. Pain soon got to her attention that she tried to resist the feeling of it. Penelope used all of her willpower to move the snakes off her. The way the snakes wrapped her body made that difficult for her to do.
Bastructour emerged out from the ground to meet Penelope face to face. With an evil smile, she influenced her snakes to squeeze Penelope’s body even more.
Bastructour: “How are you enjoying your pain? Let's make you endure some more.”
Bastructour influenced the snakes to lift Penelope to the sky to slam her to the ground. They lift Penelope to the sky again. Bastructour moved forward to punch Penelope in the face. When Bastructour’s fist hits Penelope’s face, Bastructour’s snakes released her. Penelope slammed on a side of a dark building. There, she roughly rubbed diagonally downwards for a while before landing into a spiky tree. She then fell to the ground not moving for some time.
Bastructour: “How about you just give up and become an Impure Member? If you do, you won’t have to suffer anymore...”
Penelope slowly got to sitting position trying to shake off her injuries. She looked at Bastructour with fiery anger.
Penelope: “No way you freak!!”
Bastructour: “Resist all you like. It won’t change your situation... Ha... Once you are dealt with, I will then take care of Kathleen...”
Penelope glanced at Bastructour with rage. The rage fueled her to get up to face Bastructour.
Penelope: “If you dare harm her, I’ll make you pay!!! I may be beat but you haven’t won the war!!”
Bastructour: “Idiot!!! Do you really think you still stand a chance against me? Don't kid yourself!! You’re done!!!”
Penelope expressed anger with teeth showing. She got into fighting position preparing herself for the fight despite her injuries. Bastructour immediately shot an arrow of spherical dark orange energy to Penelope. A massive explosion from it caused Penelope to be fiercely sent back. She roughly rubbed the ground to a distance before making it to a complete stop. Bastructour went over to observe a severely injured and helpless Penelope.
Bastructour: She gave off a smirk. “Ha... You could have saved yourself the beatings from me if only you just surrendered... It doesn’t matter anyways... You belong to the Impure Order now...”
Penelope slammed her right fist to the ground not wanting to admit defeat. Soon, she had the look of figuring something out. With a new sense of determination, she started to charge her powers. Instead of using them against Bastructour, she used her powers to herself.
Bastructour had a look of wondering what Penelope was doing. Penelope summoned spirit beings in the form of white feathered birds, sea creatures and hairy spherical creatures. They flew to where Penelope was to emit an orange light. The intensity of that light forced an overwhelmed Bastructour back. Once it ended, fear started to show from Bastructour when she saw Penelope in an energy body of light.
The hairy creatures were on top of Penelope’s head. They together formed long dark hair that stretched down to her shoulders. Penelope’s arms and legs were covered by golden sea creature shells. Some varied from being smooth to rocky. They moved about as if vibrating. Penelope’s white bird-like wings gave intimidation to her opponent. Bastructour seeing Penelope’s new form triggered all the anger within her.
Bastructour: “What?!? Impossible... You're supposed to be done for!!”
Penelope: She expressed seriousness. “You could destroy my body but not my ability to destroy you... I have evolved to a level beyond your power... Your corrupted ways and the Impure Order itself end now...”
Bastructour: “You’re delusional!! It doesn’t matter how much you improved!! You will never be strong enough against me!!!”
Bastructour charged towards her opponent with her blade. Penelope used her powers to summon spirit beings in the form of hundreds of bee creatures. Bastructour slashed and shot them away. She moved back to a distance to stare at Penelope with anger. The anger reached the point where she couldn't suppress it anymore. Bastructour while yelling in anger, charged to Penelope again.
When Bastructour slashed across Penelope’s body, Bastructour started smiling. Her smile went to fear when she learned her attack had no effect on Penelope’s body. Bastructour repeatedly slashed Penelope to no avail. Desperation gradually grew from each slash. Penelope grabbed Bastructour’s arm then began to squeeze it. Bastructour with all of her might tried to break free. Penelope the entire time was staring at her.
Penelope: “It’s my turn...”
Penelope performed one diagonal slash to Bastructour’s body. Dark orange energies emerged out from the wound. Penelope followed that by letting go of her arm to deliver a punch to Bastructour’s gut. Bastructour collapsed to the ground enduring her injuries. She stared to Penelope with eyes of anger and teeth showing.
Bastructour: “No!!! I refuse to believe you are stronger than me!!”
Bastructour moved back to a distance while managing her injuries. They both went into a fighting pose before charging towards each other. Bastructour moved in with her blade while Penelope flew to her. After a slash, they went to opposite sides.
There was silence between them for a moment before dark energies burst out from Bastructour’s body. She turned to face Penelope before collapsing to the ground. Penelope holding her wounds went to a dying Bastructour. Bastructour struggled to move her head to stare deep in Penelope’s eyes.
Bastructour: “You think you have won? Ha... Don't kid yourself... You still have to overcome the Impure Order Itself. You don’t stand a chance...”
Penelope: “At least I stood a chance against you... So, who is the weak one now?”
Bastructour: “How dare...”
Bastructour angered quickly went to her knees. She tried to shoot an arrow to Penelope. With a few seconds to react, Penelope slashed Bastructour in half. Bastructour instantly disappeared in darkness leaving Penelope alone.
Penelope: “I’ve... done it...”
Penelope went to the ground out of exhaustion. An orange light soon consumed her. Out from it, many spirit creatures came to view. They faded off like ghosts disappearing into nothingness. Once the light faded, Penelope was back to her original human appearance.
Penelope: “I need to find where Bastructour kept Kathleen at.”
Penelope started her journey onwards into the Impure City.
Back at the Dream World Building, Mally was located in a chamber full of technologies exploring each one. She was busy downloading the information of each technology into her Awakening Book. Looking at the information she gathered so far, she felt that it could serve to aid her with her plans to stop the Impure Order.
She then flipped the pages of her Awakening Book to look at an image of the Conversion Device. Using her powers, she read what made it up. In no time, she figured it out.
Mally: “I’ve fully understand this machine... Its main purpose is to corrupt people into Impure Members... I have to know where its weak point is…”
Mally changed her book into her book pendant. She then ran off down the hallways. When she emerged out of the building, she found herself in the Impure City. She looked around to find the city quiet. Unlike what Martin had experienced before, there was no one around.
Mally: “This is strange… There is no one around in this city… I don’t like this…”
She closed her eyes then opened them again to find herself in the same place. The level of concern gradually grew when her means to wake up back to her bedroom failed.
Mally: “I can’t wake up but how…? I’ve destroyed the Dream Machine…”
She summoned her weapon before looking out to where the Impure Fortress was.
Mally: “I better walk away from this city first then I will figure this out…”
Mally started running down the empty streets while looking at the empty buildings around her.
Mally: “I wonder how these buildings are created… I feel that these buildings are impure in design… I don’t like this at all…”
Soon, she saw someone running towards her. As she looked at that person carefully, she discovered with happiness to find that it was Penelope.
Mally: “Penelope! You’re here!”
Penelope: “Mally, it’s you! You’ve survived! It’s great to see one of my friends here… Theodore would have been happy to see that our experiment worked.”
Mally: “Have you learned anything in this city?”
Penelope: “I have… We are in serious trouble… The physical world could be in danger… The Impure Order is training Impure Members to one day invade the physical world… What is worse is that Kathleen is in trouble… An Impure Lieutenant kidnapped her and placed her somewhere here… Don’t worry about that creep since I already taken care of her…”
Mally: “This is serious… I’ve learned that the Impure Order is relying on the Dream World Building to capture people from their dreams… They download people’s dreams into Dream Boxes that are being displayed in the Hallway of Dreams… We’ll explain this to the group in our Dream Club Meeting. I just need to figure out how to wake up.”
Penelope: “Just close your eyes.”
Mally: “I’ve tried that but nothing happened.”
Penelope: “Let me try.”
Penelope closed her eyes. Once she opened them, she found herself with Mally in the Impure City.
Penelope: “Strange… I always thought we could wake up back to the physical world by closing our eyes…”
Mally: “I think something else is keeping us here…”
Mally and Penelope’s eyes expressed disturbance. They felt a rush of negative vibes which made them feel deeply uncomfortable. When they turned to where the source of the disturbance was coming from, they expressed shock. In front of them was Mansan. Just like Theodore and Shawn, they felt an uncomfortable resonance with him. The look on their faces showed that they were highly bothered by his presence. They placed themselves into fighting position to prepare themselves for what he was about to do.
