SIEGFRIED'S SWORDS WERE SPECIAL.
For one, they have raven-head pommels that looked ornamental and the grips were designed to be held in reverse, making the sword look upside down when held by the wielder.
Siegfried trained his entire youth with the art of Reverse Grip sword style, an unorthodox style of swordplay deemed inefficient by many.
His father learned it from his grandfather, who learned it from his great-grandfather, and so on. It became the signature fighting style of the King's Guards.
The technique was difficult to use with conventional swords, but with swords like Huginn and Muninn, it was the best style that could capitalize on the twin sword’s design.
But what really made his swords special, the Huginn and Muninn, was that the blades were engraved with nine runic symbols, representing the nine realms of Dragonheim Continent.
Each runic symbol represents the nine variations of the Yggdrasil Style in Dragonheim. Though he hasn't mastered all nine yet, he knew how to use all of them in the most basic form.
For a few seconds, Siegfried pondered using Yggdrasil Style: Brimuspelheim, the flaming sword style. But remembering their match back at Saint Crudeo and looking at Volg now, it seemed flame really does not affect the bovine family.
He needed to cut through Yakia's hair which were tough as steel. Which meant he needed to make his blades sharper, just like what Luciano told him.
He made two runic symbols overlap. “Yggdrasil Style: Luminalfheim!”
The blades of his swords glowed which blinded Yakia. He then struck her hair with all his strength and actually managed to cut through.
Siegfried fell to the ground and backed away from Yakia to catch his breath.
Yakia regained her sight and immediately sent long strands of hair toward Siegfried.
Siegfried ran towards Yakia, dodging the hairs which made craters on the ground as they made contact.
He only had a few seconds remaining before his swords lose Luminalfheim's effect. It was draining too much of his mana. He has to make it count.
Yakia sent all of her hair straight toward Siegfried.
Siegfried deliberately dropped to his knees and slid towards Yakia.
With two strikes, Siegfried hits Yakia, cutting through her tough hair and skin. His swords reverted to normal right after, but with the gap between them closed, he was able to stab Yakia straight through her abdomen.
Siegfried pulled back his sword and Yakia collapsed to the ground.

Strong winds were coming out from the Slave House and the people were pouring out, panicked. Ventori and Geode were more than happy to cause massive damage inside the Slave House, but four people were standing their ground, unimpressed.
“You Lumbard dogs,” Don Tauran looked seriously annoyed. He could have gained millions of fortune for this month’s Slave Trade if not for this attack. “I’ll make sure you regret setting foot on my territory!!”
Don Tauran activated his power and transformed into an auroch-human hybrid.
Shattered glasses from the chandeliers started to float and went toward Don Sergio and his children, Serena and Stefano. The glasses formed a series of spears behind them.
“I bet there’s more backstage. Do you mind if I play with them?” asked Don Sergio
Don Tauran angrily bellowed.
Don Sergio shoots out several glass spears that went straight through the raging wind of Ventori as Don Tauran charged Ventori and Geode.
The glass spears did reach far backstage. Luckily, none were hurt as the spears were caught in a sphere of wind.
Facing two Dons of two Mafia Famiglia and two other respected power users was an absolute impossibility from Ventori’s perspective. Luckily, he was not alone.
Stronger winds shoot out from backstage, along with the glass spears that Don Sergio threw earlier. Don Tauran was caught off guard before reaching Ventori and Geode and defended himself from being impaled. Behind Ventori materialized the sylph that Brunnhilde and the rest saved.
Geode pulled more earth from the ground which blocked more incoming glass spears from the Giovanni siblings. The glass spears shattered upon contact, saving themselves from getting impaled.
Geode looked behind him and saw the floating sylph. “Uhhh…Is that your friend, Vent?”
“I don’t even know what that’s supposed to be. But let’s thank it later for the assist!”
The sylph silently smiled and nodded at them.
Don Tauran bellowed even louder as he charged toward them. Geode braced himself as he attempted to counter the oversized Don Tauran.
Don Sergio collected even more glass debris, making even more glass spears. He pointed the spears toward the three and shoots them all at once. Serena and Stefano did the same, shooting glass debris in all directions

Below the Slave House, Robin, Brunnhilde, Greta, Raijin, the three elves, the orcs, the mage humans, and the beasts were following the path, looking at the cages left and right.
“I thought I told you all to leave now?!” Greta shouted.
Everyone following them flinched and the beasts whimpered.
“I-I want to help in any way I can,” said the lava Karma user.
“Let us help you until you all escape from this place after you save this Lars,” said Venusaea. Drosonia and Nepetoria nodded.
“We, orcs, will destroy anyone who will attempt to block your path,” said one of the orcs. The other orcs roared in unison in agreement.
The dwarf who was about to be sold was also following them. “I’m just following you all ‘cause it’s safer.”
The beasts all roared and screeched and bawled.
“We’re here!” Brunnhilde shouted, looking inside a cage where Lars was.
Greta looked inside and saw Lars chained and shackled on the wall. “Lars!”
One of the orcs effortlessly bent open the iron bar. “These iron bars are nothing to us if not for that electricity.”
Brunnhilde immediately went inside and scanned Lars’s wound. His stomach was impaled a few days earlier and had already been patched up, but he was still not in the condition to move around or the wound will reopen.
With Brunnhilde’s magic though, the wounds could get disinfected better and heal up in no time.
Lars winced as he saw everyone. “G-Greta?”
“Just stay still, Lars. We’ll get you out of here.”
“This place is filled with runic symbols that are stopping my magic. Once I disable them, I’ll need more mana to use my Summer Magic.”
Everyone gave Brunnhilde space as she disabled all the runic symbols. As a countermeasure, Raijin destroyed the parts of the walls where the runic symbols were engraved. He didn’t know if it would be of any help but still did it anyway.
The elves provided Brunnhilde with more mana. And with enough mana, Brunnhilde activated her Summer Magic, which not only healed Lars but actually brought him back to a great shape as if nothing happened. Everyone else was affected as well by the Summer Magic, invigorating them.
Lars could feel his strength coming back and he had nothing to worry about his mana as he had already recovered a lot. He took off the bandage wrapped around his abdomen, thrilled that not even a scar could be found.
“Now, how about we burn this place to the ground?”
