The 4 Gods ruled the elements….

Anix, The God of Fire

Raava, The Water goddess

Crosis, The Wind God

Dunia, The Earth goddess

The 4 Gods all lived together peacefully.

One day, while idle, the Gods decided to create a new world.

Fascinated by the many versions of the human species, the Gods copied the DNA of humans and created their own versions of them to inhabit their newly created world.

Some humans were granted with a drop of power from each God, thus birthing a special race of humans known as Madokais. These “special” humans were granted the power to “Wield” any one of the four elements- Water, Earth, Wind and Fire.

Fascinated with their creation, the Gods thus created a “hybrid” version of human, called the Tenaris. The Tenaris were humans that contained the essence of any one of the Gods. Resembling fae, the Tenaris were equipped with pointed ears and were also granted the power of Wielding, however, due to them possessing the essence of the Gods, they were far more powerful than regular Wielders and were mostly feared.

Peace lasted for centuries until for unknown reasons, a war broke out between the Gods.

This war caused a tear between the Gods’ newly created world and the demon world, causing the two worlds to collide. To put an end to the Gods’ new world’s destruction, the Gods came together to stop them.

To seal the tear between the two worlds, the Gods intertwined their powers. The combining of powers caused a catastrophic chain reaction, and after the smoke cleared, a stone was formed. This stone was called The Dragtagon. Due to the stone’s immense power, the Gods decided to hide the stone away, to only reveal itself to the Chosen One.

Once hidden, the Gods disappeared and were never to be seen again…..

Until now…

Episode 1: Pilot

Present Day

“Ven. It’s time to get up. You’re going to be late.”

Ven opens his eyes and sees his mother standing over him with her hands on her hips, with a look of impatience plastered on her face.

She’s such a cute thing. About 5’ 8” slender build, caramel skin with long curly black hair with speckles of gray; the poster child of aging like fine wine.

“You do this every morning. You would think that by now you would be used to going to school!” She whines. “Get! Up!”

“I’m up. I’m up.” Ven groans.

“Good. I have to go to work. Please be on time today. I left you some tamagoyaki to eat for breakfast and I made some fish cakes for you to eat for lunch. I hope you enjoy.”

“I always enjoy your cooking mom.”

His mother smiles and bends down and places a kiss on his forehead.

“Listen. I know that you hate going to school. It’s rough. You’re a teenager and you’re “different” than the rest of them but… that’s what makes you special! Just remember that I love you. Just get through today. Besides! Tomorrow is your 16th birthday and I promised you that I would take you somewhere very special. Just get through today and tomorrow will be here before you know it! I do have to go so I will see you later tonight. I love you.”

His mother gets up and leaves and yells for him to lock the doors before he leaves for the day.

Ven groans and heads for the shower.

Meet Ven.

A soon to be 16-year-old student at Ujiwama High. He stands about 5’ 8”, scrawny build, short black/ brown hair. He has caramel skin and hazel eyes. He spends most of his time reading manga, playing video games, watching anime, staying in and spending time with his loving mother, Auroa. He’s the perfect kid except, there is just one problem with him.

He looks like an elf, due to him having pointed ears.

*Ujiwama High*

Ven arrives to school in a plain black hoodie and jeans and white Air Forces. He keeps the hoodie over his head in order to cover his ears but he knows it’s futile. The students at Ujiwama High have been making fun of him for as long as he could remember. He has been bullied and shunned since he was a child and has no friends. He has grown to accept the treatment that he receives from the others but he still longs for someone to at least understand him; someone besides his loving mother. He sits at the back of every class and never says a word. Although he never says a word, he is highly intelligent and passes every exam with flying colors. It’s as if school is TOO easy for him. Because of his intelligence, he intimidates the other students, causing them to feel “inferior” to someone that is considered to be a “nerd”.

*Lunch*

Ven is sitting at his usual table eating the tamagoyaki that his mother made for him. His loving mother. She has made him lunch ever single day for the past 15 years. The lunch is never the same and it is always delicious. During lunch, Ven sits in the back of the cafeteria, alone. None of the other children ever offer to give him company, not that he minds.

“Hey elf man. What are you eating for lunch today?”

Jamie Tanaka- Popular, tall, handsome, asshole. Typical high school punk that hangs out with a group of mindless followers that will follow him to the ends of the Earth.

Ven says nothing as he continues to eat his lunch.

“He asked you a question.” Says PJ Yamamato, Jamie’s right-hand man.

Ven continues to ignore them until suddenly, Jamie snatches Ven’s lunch from his hands and throws it onto the floor.

“Dogs are supposed to answer when their master says something to them!” Jamie says, as he grabs Ven by the collar. Jamie cocks his hand back as if he is about to punch Ven but right before he is about to do so, the guidance counselor, Mr. Agikama, appears right behind him and grabs Jamie by the ear.

“Now Mr. Tanaka! What seems to be the problem here?!!” Mr. Agikama asks.

Jamie lets go of Ven.

“Ow! Ow! Ow! Stop!” He yells in pain.

“Ow! Ow! Ow! No! You and your sidekick are coming with me to my office!” Says Mr. Agikama. “PJ. Let’s go!”

Mr. Agikama drags both Jamie and PJ and as he drags them off, and Jamie mouths that he will see Ven later.

The other students whisper amongst themselves, staring at Ven, commenting on the orderal that they just witnessed. Embarrassed, Ven leaves the lunchroom and hides in the boy’s gym locker room for the rest of the day.

*End of school*

Once school ends, Ven makes a quiet exit from the locker room and heads home. Wanting to avoid the looks from his fellow classmates, Ven decides to take a shortcut. He cuts through the alleyway next to the school, hops the metal fence and ends up on a busy Tokyo sidewalk, flooded by citizens that are stuck in their own minds that they barely notice Ven. Nothing new for him. As he walks, he suddenly feels an icy grip on his shoulder. He yelps and quickly whips his body around but finds nobody behind him. He shrugs it off, thinking that his mind is just playing tricks on him, and continues to make his way on home.

"Ven."

Ven whips his head around after hearing the sound of his name. There isn't anyone behind him that is close enough to whisper into his ear.

“I’m just paranoid. That’s all. It’s all in my head. I just need to make it home.” He mumbles to himself.

He continues walking..

"Ven."

There it is again. The cold, eerie whisper of his name. He stops walking abruptly, causing a few of the citizens to give him annoyed looks. He looks down and sees a shadow that isn’t his, right next to him.

"Run."

Letting his instincts take over, Ven bolts down the street, zigging and zagging in between civilians. He doesn't turn his head back to see what he is running from exactly, nor does he care. The only thing on his mind is to find safety. He runs to the end of the street, making a sharp right and unexpectedly, slams right into Jamie and his friends outside of a ramen shop.

“Elf man! I was looking for you!” Jamie says excitedly, slurping some of his noodles. “You got me in trouble today. Now I have detention for the next two weeks. How should I repay you for this?”

Ven quickly gets up from the floor and slowly backs away from Jamie and his gang.

“He’s going to run.” Mumbles one of Jamie’s friends.

As predicted, Ven takes off running.

“Told ya.”

“GET HIM!!”

Jamie and his gang take off after him.

"I need to lose them!" Ven thinks to himself as if he runs through the streets of Tokyo. "But how?!"

He quickly takes in his surroundings as he runs, and notices a sign for the city park.

"The forest behind the city park!"

He heads towards the entrance of the park, running through the playground, hopping the fence that acts as a barrier between the park and the forest. Once over the fence, he kicks into overdrive and runs even faster. He zigs and zags through the trees, going deeper and deeper into the green. He runs until his lungs force him to stop and take a breath. He huffs and puffs, trying to catch his breath. He doesn't hear the sound of leaves crunching beneath tired feet, nor does he hear the threatening voices of Jamie and his gang behind him.

“I lost them.” He says aloud.

Suddenly, Ven falls to the ground with a loud thump.

“You really thought that you would be able to lose us in here did you? I know this forest like the back of my hand!"

Ven rolls onto his back and sees Jamie and his gang surrounding him.

“You would think by now that you would just die. You’re not one of us.” Says PJ as he cracks his knuckles.

“It’s obvious that he’s not human. Look at him.” Comments another member of the gang.

“An abomination,” Jamie adds and smirks, “Let’s teach him a lesson that he won’t forget.”

Jamie and his gang giggle. Their eyes full of nothing but malicious intent. Ven knows that it is futile to ask for mercy from them, since they have been picking on him for as long as he can remember. As if it was rehearsed, Ven covers his head with his hands and braces himself for the anticipated impact. As expected, they beat him to bloody pulp and leave him alone in the forest bloodied and alone.

*Later that night*

It’s now 7pm and Ven has not made it home yet. Auroa is pacing around her home with a hot glass of sake. She has been calling and texting her son but he has not answered.

“He should’ve been home by now.” She whispers while pacing back and forth. “Dear Anix. Where is he?”

Suddenly, the front door swings open and Ven comes stumbling in. His nose is bloodied, his eye is swollen and his clothes have been dirtied and torn.

“WHAT HAPPENED?!” Auroa shouts, nearly dropping her glass of sake as she runs over to her son and tries to touch him but he smacks her hand away.

“You already KNOW!” Yells Ven right before he runs upstairs to his room and slams the door, leaving Auroa stunned downstairs.

Around 9pm, Auroa goes to knock on Ven’s bedroom door. She calls his name but no answer. She jiggles the handle of the door but it’s locked. Not surprising.

“Ven. Please. Talk to me.” She pleads.

She then hears the handle jiggle and the door opens. She walks in the room to find Ven sitting on his bed, with his head down, looking utterly defeated. She joins him on the bed and stares at the ceiling.

“Jamie?” She questions.

Ven nods his head.

“I don’t understand what his problem is with you. He’s been bothering you for years. You won’t even let me talk to his father. I should put an end to this now I-.”

“What’s the point.” Ven cuts her off.

Auroa sighs.

Ven grabs the sheets of the bed and whispers, “I don’t belong mom. I never have. I never will. Let’s stop pretending."

“Let’s stop pretending what?” she whispers.

“That I’m not different than everybody else!” Ven screams and faces her. “Look at me! Everyone looks normal except for me! It’s all because of these!” He points to his ears. “Let’s stop pretending that these are normal or that I will "grow" into them! Let’s stop acting as if everything is alright because it’s not! You wouldn’t understand mom because you look just like everyone else! I don’t!” Auroa pulls her son in for a tight hug and lets him sulk on her shoulder and bites her lips.

“You’re right. You are different. You just don’t know what that means.” She says with a surprisingly calm tone. “It will all make sense to you tomorrow.” She gives him a reassuring pat on the back.

Ven's ears twitch. "What do you-"

Before Ven could finish his sentence, Auroa taps Ven on the neck and he falls into a deep sleep.
