Levi was a powerhouse in the corporate world, but an unstoppable force in his free time. His fingers were over the keyboard as he worked. All the while anticipating his new role-playing game that will released tonight. His heart raced with excitement. He thought of conquering every level. Defeating every foe, faster than anyone else had before him.
He longed for the hours keeping him going home. Keeping him away from virtual world and his ultimate fantasy.
When he finally finished with his shift and walked into the home. He threw his bag on the sofa and hastily powered up his gaming setup.
After a minute, the game started downloading, with a reminder that 2 hours needed for it to complete. He sighed at the size of this game and allowed himself to feel the exhaustion of the his day wash over him. He though to himself after two hours of nap he could pull an all nighter. He set the alarm and drifted off to sleep.
As he opened his eyes, Levi looked around in disbelief. The room he was in looked like an extravagant suite fit for royalty. The walls of polished marble and the ceiling adorned with intricate gold designs. He realized that he wasn't in the real world anymore.
He sat up and examined himself. He was no longer a regular human but an elf with long pointed ears, silver hair, and piercing green eyes. He felt the weight of a small animal resting on his side. Looked down to see a baby dragon with silver tiny scales curled up beside him and sleeping.
Levi's heart began to race. He realized the implications of this fantastical world that he had been thrust into.
"Wow, this is unbelievable," he thought to himself. "I must be dreaming."
But as he looked closer, he noticed a strange device floating in front of him. It was a menu that looked like it was straight out of a video game, and he was able to navigate it with his thoughts. He realized that he was inside the very RPG game he had been eagerly anticipating.
With a grin on his face, Levi slip out of bed try not to disturb the sleeping baby dragon. Stretched his limbs, reveling in the new sensations of his elf body. He could feel the power coursing through his veins, and he knew that he was now capable of incredible feats.
Levi wandered over to the menu in front of him and began to browse through it. He could see that he had a wide range of options at his disposal, and he couldn't wait to try them out. As he pursued through the lists, he noticed that there was a section labelled "Minions"
Curiosity piqued, Levi focused on the tab and saw an empty list apart from the first line. " Silver Dragon Adalon - Male ". At the end of the list show "Total minion 1/10."

Levi blink his eyes check the information again. He is now called Thalandrim and he was somehow a royalty, 7th son, a Prince. He was never imagined elves had so much children. This must be something about the royal families securing the future of kingdom.
A sudden realization hit Thal in the head. He had no previous memory of his elven life of 22 years. A rush of anxiety shivered his entire being, he didn't know anyone, He had no memory of anything at all.
A knock on the door startled Thal, and he turned his attention towards the entrance. He walked towards the door, feeling a sense of uncertainty and unease.
Opening the door, he saw a tall figure standing before him. It was a elven man with piercing blue eyes and a stern expression, dressed in the garb of a royal servants.
"Your Highness," the man said, bowing low. "I am here to escort you to your father, the King. He wishes to speak with you."
Thal felt a surge of fear wash over him as he realized the gravity of the situation. He was a prince, and he had a duty to his kingdom. He had no memory of his past life or anything in present. He knew that he had to fulfill a certain role in society.
Thalandrim nodded, still feeling disoriented from the sudden change of reality. With silent flaps of silver wings, more powered by magic of the dragons than the physical effort. Baby Dragon perched to his shoulder giving him reassurance that he was with him no matter what comes.
With somehow renewed courage, thal followed the advisor. Passing long hallways and corridors. Lined with oil paintings of past achievements of his people. Images of lush forest beyond beauty. They finally reached a massive double door engraved with the arts style of elven people. Figures of leaves and flowers adorned with gems and gold and silver craftsmanship. So detailed as if the massive doors are like art pieces.
Guards were standing both side of the massive door. Adorned in the Silver alloyed golden armor and spears. Thal think that they must be of Royal Guards. Guards saluted young Lord and announced his arrival with booming yet melodic voices.
Doors pushed open and reviled the throne room. It was an opulent space, filled with glittering jewels and gold decorations. Deep artistry of the elves were at every detail.
With a light squeeze on his shoulder, Baby dragon shift his attention to the throne and the King of the Elves. Throne was sat on a platform raised high above the rest of the room. Decendence of the King from the stairs was a vision of awe. He moved so perfectly, like the forest trees sway in the wind, graceful and controlled at the same time. His eyes fixed on Thalandrim with a mixture of concern and expectation.
"Thalandrim, my son," the king said, his voice booming yet gentle. "I am glad you have arrived. We have much to discuss."
Thalandrim bowed low, feeling a sudden rush of respect and awe for his father. Despite not remembering anything about his past, he knew that this was his family and his duty to serve them.
At the corner of his eye he sees a small system notification " Nobility experience gained." He disregard this notification to look into it later.
As he straightened up, the king continued. "As you may know, our kingdom is in a state of turmoil. The neighboring kingdoms have been growing aggressive. we fear that they may be planning an attack or worse."
Thalandrim's heart sank at the news, but he remained composed as his father went on. "We have lost contact with our border garrison to the northeast. I have ordered an immediate expedition and I have chosen you to lead.
Thalandrim's eyes widened in surprise. This was an RPG alright but plunged into a great event at level 1 was too much.
Without any more thought on it Thal bowed elegantly and said " it would be my honor to serve your majesty"
Again system notification " Nobility experience gained." pop up. He disregard it quickly. The king already moving towards the one of the side halls. Thal could see a table and noble looking elves waiting ready.
Thal felt a surge of nervousness as he followed his father towards the table. He couldn't believe that he was being entrusted with such a crucial mission at such a young age. But he knew that he had to do his best to protect his kingdom and his people.
As he sat down at the table, he noticed that there were several advisors present. They were all dressed in the finest elven attire, and they all had stern expressions on their faces.

"My lords," the king said, Urging advisors to speak.
One of the advisors, shifted in his chair, about to speak. Thal's attention moved to the elf. He was a stern faced elf with the notoriety of elves with an undying perfection. He was looking young as of any other elf with only his dimmed eyes shows that he was an elder, seen hundred of years. he donned with royal clothing only rivaled of the king's. His jewelry shown signs of runes etched on them. Thal had no idea the purpose and effect. He was sure they were great artifacts of magic rather than mundane decorations.
"My Lord" he bowed his head slightly. "Our magic surveillance blocked by an unknown source. What ever happened there is beyond our knowledge." he stated in a manner of frustration. For an elf that lived long enough to see anything and everything an "unknown" was unnerving. If not for his station he looks like he would tear apart realms to find this "unknown" source to its core.
Another of the table's attendants shift. A more energetic elf, with chain armor as beautiful as the robes of other members. "My Lord" he started with a bellowing voice fit for an commander. " Griffon Riders are almost ready for the expedition. They can move with the first light of the dawn."
Even though dragon riding his shoulder, this surprised thal. Soaring the skies with Griffons was beyond exciting.
Other advisors took turns to share their insight. Possible scenarios with neighboring kingdoms, war and other outcomes.
Thal listened intently, taking in all the information that was being shared. As a prince and a leader, he knew he had to be well-versed in all aspects of his kingdom's affairs.
He shifted his gaze to the map of the region that spread out on the table before him. Littered with markers indicating the position of garrisons. Natural and man made borders of their kingdom. As well as the location of their lost garrison indicated with a red flag. There were notification on the corner of his eyes that he kept ignoring as he keeps his focus on the meeting.
Thal knew that time was of the essence, and he had to act fast to save his people. He turned to the advisor who had spoken earlier about the surveillance blockage.
"Is there any way to break the blockage and regain access to our surveillance?" Thal asked, his voice firm and resolute.
The advisor looked up at him, surprised by the question, slight anger flash in his eyes. "It's possible, Your Highness, but We would have to locate the source of the blockage first." and with smirk tone he added "thus for the need of this expedition"
Thal felt a twinge of annoyance at the comment, but he remained composed. He knew that he had a lot to prove to his people, and he determined to do so.
As the meeting came to a close, Thalandrim stood up and bowed to his father and the advisors.
"I will not disappoint you, Your Highness," he said firmly. His eyes meeting his father's in a show of determination.
With a nod of approval, the king dismissed the meeting.
Adalon on his shoulder, Thalandrim made his way out of the throne room. As he made his way back to his chambers, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anxiety and trepidation. He had never led an expedition before. Although he had wast knowledge of strategy from his Gaming knowledge, this was real. There were no save games and short cuts to help him out and lives of his men entrusted him.
As he spiraled down the anxiety and weight of being leader of a team hings heavy on him. Small dragon nuzzled his cheek. Giving him a reassuring sense of comfort pulling him back to the moment.
Thal sat down on a plush armchair. Deep in thought as he considered all the information shared at the meeting.
Adalon hopped off his shoulder and snuggled up beside him. Thal reached out and stroked the dragon's scales. Taking comfort in the small act.
As he closed his eyes, a sudden thought struck him. He remembered the system notifications that had been popping up during the meeting. He had disregarded them at the time. Now he realized that they might hold valuable information.
He opened his eyes and focused his mind, summoning the notifications back into his vision. They appeared before him, glowing with a golden hue.
He read through them , and as he did so, he felt a surge of power coursing through his veins. The notifications were giving him experience points and more detailed information. Everything he heard, saw and said in the strategy meeting with the advisors.
One notification different from others took his attention. it said "Skill Knowledge of Elders Activated"
He closed his eyes and focused his mind once again, concentrating on the notification. He felt a flood of knowledge rushed into his mind as if the entire library filled to his mind. He now, know everything about his country. From the simple herb growing in a remote region. To the manifest of oldest families. To the battle formations and how great wars won.
He felt a newfound sense of confidence.
Thal turned to Adalon, who was looking up at him with curious eyes.
"Are you ready to fly, my friend?" Thal asked, grinning.
Adalon gave a joyful chirp in response.
Thal ready to lead his expedition and protect his kingdom from any threats that may come their way.
He stood up from the armchair, feeling a renewed sense of purpose and strength. He knew that leading the expedition would be a daunting task, but he was ready for it. He had the knowledge and the determination to see it through to the end.
As the first light of dawn broke over the horizon, Thal stood on the balcony of his chambers, feeling the cool morning breeze on his face. He had spent the night studying maps and strategizing, and he felt ready to lead his team into the unknown.
Thal made his way to the stables, where the Griffon Riders were getting their mounts ready. The giant birds were majestic creatures, with powerful wings and razor-sharp talons. Thal had never ridden one before, but he had seen them in action in his favorite RPG games. He followed the protocol and wore the gear that was provided, which looked like it could resist light attacks, and gave some mobility.
One of the Riders approached him, a grizzled elf with a weathered face and a scar above his right eye. He introduced himself as Captain Eryndor, and Thal could see the respect and admiration in his eyes.
"Your Highness," he said, bowing deeply.
Thal returned the bow, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility wash over him.
"Captain Eryndor, it's an honor to meet you," Thal said, his voice steady.
Eryndor straightened up, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"The honor is mine, Your Highness. I have heard great things about you" he said.
Thal felt a surge of gratitude at the compliment. He knew that he had a lot to prove to the Griffon Riders and the rest of his kingdom.
"We are ready to depart whenever you are, Your Highness," Eryndor said, motioning towards the waiting Griffons.
Thal took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. He mounted his Griffon and soon they were soaring into the sky.
Thal had never felt so alive. The wind blowing through his hair. The rush of adrenaline flowing through his veins. He never wanted this moment to end.
However, as he looked around, he could see that something was amiss. There was no sign of his comrades. The Griffon suddenly dived to the ground, sending Thal tumbling in the saddle.
Thal quickly regained his balance, holding on tight as the Griffon continued to dive. Thal could see an object ahead, glowing brightly with magical energy. He squinted, trying to get a better look.
Suddenly, the Griffon lurched to a stop, sending Thal flying off the saddle. Thal landed hard on the ground, the air rushing out of his lungs.
He quickly recovered, and realized that he was surrounded by a gang of armed humans donned in dark clothes. He felt a wave of panic, but he kept his composure, knowing that he had to act fast.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" said one of them, a tall, lanky man with long hair. He sounded like he was enjoying the situation.
Thal kept his cool, standing firm as the men surrounded him. He could see the system info hovering above their heads.
The one speaking looking like the boss of this band was level 3
─Bandit Level 3
Title:Army of Shadow Dragon
The men around him ranged from level 1 to 3.
Thal knew that he had to fight his way out, and he had to do it fast.
He consider his options, he has his magic and Adalon with him. He had a plan, but he had to act fast.
Thal, Shouted "Kneel!"
Activating his ability under Nobility skill
"Royal Aura" Creates an aura that exudes Thalandrim's noble status, deterring lesser foes and making them less likely to challenge him.
As the men surrounding him were distracted, he acted fast.
He activated his Dimension magic and blinked himself to Adalon.
As he blinked to Adalon, a sudden wave of nausea washed over him, he stumbled as he reappeared, barely keeping his balance.
Adalon, the hatchling dragon's face look concerned. Thal wished that Adalon could speak but their only communication was limited to mimics and senses.
"It's ok, I'm alright," he reassured, petting Adalon's head.
As he regained his balance, he realized that his mana was nearly depleted. Looking back the minions was recovering from his Ability and regrouping fast.
He needed to act fast.
"Blink"
Dimension magic activate once more. This time blinking himself to the enemy.
"Whoa," one of the man exclaimed in surprise.
"Keep him occupied while I get the dragon" shouted leader.
Thal blinked again, this time appearing behind one of the man.
He was lucky. The man was alone. He was going to end this fast.
He touched neck of the man releasing the Nature magic. Thorny wines appear man's neck grasping thorns not allowing him to remove them and in a bloody choke, man defeated.
"Oi! where did he go?" the leader shouted.
Thal felt a surge of satisfaction and exhilaration, this was a rush.
As he focused on the leader, a man appeared between them, and without a moment's hesitation, attacked.
Thal instinctively blocked the incoming blow. The blow was strong enough to break his arm guard, and he fell backwards.
Thal had no idea that his opponents was so strong. He quickly stood up, feeling a surge of frustration and fear.
"What do you want?" he asked, trying to stall.
The leader seemed to be thinking.
"Lord Thalandrim, Legendary Dragon Tamer ?"
"That's me."
The leader grinned.
"Then I will capture you."
As he finished the statement, several men appeared around Thal.
Thal realized that this was his worst-case scenario. He had no idea how to defeat the boss and his minions. He had to try something fast.
"blink"
Dimension magic activating. Blinking himself and Adalon far from the enemy. And start running towards to forest. Thinking what is goiong on. What they wanted from him.
Thanks to the bond between Master and companion, thal was tapping the magical reserve of Adalon which was greater than his but still limited. All the actions and running was taking its toll and his stride getting slower and his pursuers closer.
He check the system window looking for something to his aid. looking into his abilities and spells. There under nature magic he found what was he looking for.
─Vital Infusion:
Infuses a target with the energy of nature, temporarily boosting their vitality and stamina.
It was one of the earliest skills that he had, and one of the most useful. Using his last ounce of mana, he activated the skill.
Thal felt a rush of power, his mind and body rejuvenated.
This was a temporary effect as the chase drag on his and Avalon's mana hovering near zero, The leader and his minions were closing in fast.
Thal could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He had to do something, and he had to do it now.
"Thorn shield"
─Thorn shield:Forms a protective barrier of intertwined thorny vines that can absorb and deflect incoming attacks.
The barrier can provide temporary defense, giving him time to plan his next move.
As he spoke the words, the system window opened and a small spell circle appeared around him and Adalon. The spell activated, and a green aura appeared around them, forming a thorny protective barrier.
Thal could feel the energy draining from Adalon but the barrier holding strong.
The men reached them, attacking the barrier. Thorns fly like bullets to the attackers, not killing them but causing many injuries. They were unsuccessful and were repelled.
Thal could see the leader coming from behind, preparing for a finishing blow.
He couldn't believe it.
This was the end.
His life was ending and his kingdom was in danger.
I wish I had more time. I wish I had the power to protect my people.
I'm sorry, Father.
He closed his eyes, accepting his fate.
Suddenly, the leader was flying backwards, landing hard on the ground.
It was Adalon, used his Dragon Magic Arts to knock the leader back.
The thorn shield disappeared.
"We are not finished," shouted the leader, his face twisted with anger and hatred.
The men started closing in, some of them already healed and ready to continue the fight.
Thal remember that he was a tamer and a Dragon was his companion. Even though a hatchling, he was a dragon prince, 7th son of Dragon Queen of the North.
Thal focused his remaining mana to strenghten the bond between the tamer and companion and using last of his mana cast Vital infusion to Adalon.
With renewed vigor Adalon let a tiny roar. Turn to men running towards them and let a dragon breath of icy cold. Even in hatchling stage the breath was deadly and men frozen and dead on their run.
Thal felt the bond between them stronger, Adalon's body shimmering with white aura and his magic reserves replenishing.
The leader was stunned, and for a moment there was a look of fear and concern on his face.
Thal looked at Adalon, his face alight with confidence.
He smiled as he felt the magic coursing through his veins.
"Dragon breath"
Adalon let a blast of dragon breath towards the leader. The icy breath was so powerful, it was freezing the leader in place. facing the same fate of his men.
He had done it. They had won.
Thal slumped to the ground, the exhaustion of the fight taking its toll. He could feel Adalon curling up beside him, his head resting on his chest.
Even though the fight had sapped him of all his mana and stamina. He felt a surge of happiness at the thought of the bond between them.
"It's over," he said, a wide grin spreading across his face.
As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but feel that he had a new lease on life.
He would do everything he can to protect his kingdom, no matter what it takes.
He had a dragon prince companion. And he was the legendary tamer.
He had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
