Unite the Four Seas

“Brother, is this really necessary? Your weight upon me—this position is rather undignified, wouldn’t you agree?”

“Get off—this is all for you! I’m forbidden from using my powers for a millennium. Why don’t you make a move?”

“If I could move, I wouldn't be pinned down by you for so long.”

“What’s the matter? Are you injured? Let me take a look.”

“No!—” Shen Long wailed, a cry that echoed through the heavens and stirred the spirits. “My glorious reputation has been utterly ruined by you!” As he watched the head of Tian Long inch closer to his mouth, accompanied by the silly grins of the surrounding dragons, Shen Long felt an overwhelming urge to remain in the chaotic cauldron for a millennium.

“Ao Qian, if you don’t come help me right now, be prepared to mine for the rest of your life.” In desperation, Shen Long shouted, hoping Ao Qian would respond.

“I’m coming, I’m coming.” At that moment, a group of dragons hurriedly lifted the unconscious Tian Long.

Shen Long then felt a pair of hands supporting him.

He sniffed, perplexed. “Hmm, why does this fragrance seem so familiar?” Shen Long mumbled.

He shook his head, feeling a lingering softness in his skull. Turning to the side, he beheld a flushed, heart-shaped face framed by cascading black hair that resembled a waterfall. Had he not known her well, he might have thought her a gentle fairy.

“Hmm, why are you here?” Her eyes were slightly red, as if she had just been crying. However, instead of feeling anger or resentment at Shen Long’s words, she radiated joy.

“It’s because of you! I heard rumors of your demise and couldn’t believe it, so I sneaked over to take a look. What a coincidence to find you!” She said, her gaze fixated on Shen Long as she embraced his head, unblinking.

Even Shen Long, despite his usual foolishness, sensed Ao Kun's intense affection. Having traversed the primordial chaos and faced several near-fatal encounters, particularly this time, Shen Long let down his guard. He had no desire to remain single in both lives.

“Of course, it’s fate.” Shedding the constraints of his past life, Shen Long accepted Ao Kun.

He smiled, a smile so natural that it might also be deemed lecherous.

Gradually, he leaned closer to Ao Kun, intending to plant a kiss upon her lips, marking her as his own; otherwise, according to the dragon’s inherently lustful nature, she might slip away in a matter of days.

As he drew nearer… ever closer… Shen Long, liberated from his inhibitions, cared little for the audience, wholly intent on that kiss.

Yet, the surrounding dragons were acutely aware of his intentions.

A band of unscrupulous dragons abandoned their tasks, even the four powerful dragons bearing Tian Long turned to watch quietly, silently urging him on:

“Kiss her,” whispered a few hearts.

“Come on! Why the hesitation?” voiced the majority.

“Look at the Grand Ancestor, how tenderly he kisses the dragon maid,” murmured some of the female dragons.

This was, after all, the first dragon maid of the Grand Ancestor!

Just as Shen Long was about to press his lips against Ao Kun’s delicate mouth, darkness enveloped his eyes, and he fainted, leaving behind a chorus of teasing remarks.

Thus, this battlefield concluded with the two Grand Ancestors being carried into the Dragon Palace, while a faction of young dragons remained to clean the scene; another war was just beginning elsewhere.

Shortly after Tian Long set off to rescue Shen Long, Huang Long, leading eighteen of the thirty-six Celestial Elders and thirty-six from the seventy-two Earthly Elders, alongside tens of thousands of powerful dragons and billions of dragon warriors, advanced into the sea. Taking advantage of the absence of high-level forces, they sought to conquer territories and expand the dragon domain.

At that time, the dragon clan had already claimed six-tenths of the sea territory, boasting immense power; seizing the remaining land was merely a matter of time. Yet countless mighty beings in the deep sea would exact a heavy toll for the dragon clan's desire to unify the four seas. Although the Grand Ancestors like Tian Long were formidable, the dragon clan had only four Grand Ancestors.

“Kill…” Countless dazzling artifacts shimmered above the heads of the aquatic tribes, resembling stars. At Huang Long’s command, innumerable star-like projectiles descended from the void, akin to the Milky Way cascading from the heavens.

The opposing enemies fell into despair, many perishing, as most of their elite forces were absent, leaving their territory’s formations defenseless.

The wiser leaders, witnessing the might of the dragon army, immediately surrendered, offering vast treasures of their clan in exchange for mercy, and Huang Long accepted them all.

Those who had seized the chaotic cauldron and spotted the dragon army chose to retreat, not harboring any thoughts of resistance. They trembled in unprecedented fear within the dragon clan’s spatial formation, especially since they were already wounded.

“Roar!” Huang Long unleashed another dragon's roar.

Upon receiving news of Shen Long’s safety, Huang Long transformed into his true form, letting out a triumphant dragon's cry.

Seeing Huang Long in such a state, the surrounding dragons assumed he was overwhelmed with grief, and they too emitted sorrowful dragon roars, which significantly boosted the morale of the aquatic forces. Thus, Huang Long refrained from sharing news of Shen Long, instead letting out several lamenting roars to invigorate his troops whenever they entered a new sea area.

The dragon army surged forth like a plague of locusts, leaving behind ruined remnants in their wake.

For those who surrendered, it was acceptable, but for those who resisted even slightly or attempted to negotiate terms, they were met with merciless slaughter.

Huang Long fought valiantly at the front, while Di Long managed the rear, overseeing the repairs in the territories seized by the dragon clan.

Two hundred years later, the dragon clan's territorial waters expanded to seventy percent;

Three hundred years later, as the dragon clan's dominance solidified, numerous forces within the sea surrendered, swelling the dragon clan's territory to eighty percent;

Four hundred years later, the Huang Long army entered the Western Extremes, where the powerful beings of that region chose to remain in hiding, and the dragon clan occupied over ninety percent of the sea;

Five hundred years later, the Huang Long army reached the North Underworld, where Kun Peng had healed his injuries and led the aquatic forces in resistance, wishing to retain control over the North Underworld Sea, ready to battle Huang Long’s forces.

Gazing at the millions of troops led by Huang Long, the gleaming artifacts above them twinkling like a starry ocean, the reawakened Kun Peng found it hard to breathe under the oppressive force, while the fifty million troops behind him quaked in their legs.

“Retreat! Unleash the barriers and defend with all our might!” Kun Peng ordered, seeing the dragon clan's overwhelming momentum, hoping to gain leverage for future negotiations by retreating into the barriers.

However, Huang Long had no intention of negotiating. With a single dragon's roar, he commanded his forces to attack.

“Roar—Kill—”

As the dragon army surged, a palpable aura of malice enveloped the air.

Once more, a cascade of stars fell from the sky, and radiant assaults plunged into the dark barriers forged from the North Underworld waters. Cracks began to appear, accompanied by a cacophony of sounds echoing throughout.

The aquatic beings commanding the barriers were soon submerged beneath the kaleidoscopic onslaught of Huang Long’s army.

In just three strikes, the North Underworld's barriers crumbled, and the entire aquatic force led by Kun Peng was consumed in the fierce assault, the waters of the North Underworld tainted with a dark crimson hue.

The fourth strike was aimed squarely at Kun Peng himself; witnessing the impending attack, Kun Peng’s face turned crimson.

“Explode!” This time, Kun Peng detonated the realm he had just restored, knowing it would take no less than a millennium to recover. He then took out a palace and dove inside.

“Ah—Dragon Clan! Dragon Clan!”

Kun Peng’s voice seethed with hatred.

“When my wounds heal tomorrow, I swear to consume five hundred dragon clans daily,” he vowed.

Huang Long paid him no mind, and from that moment on, the dragon clan unified the four seas.
