When her consciousness returned she found herself in a dark plain. 

Her surroundings were void of any light.

She could not feel her body but she did sense a state of being.

Slowly over time memories flashed before her eyes which she immediately forgot.

As this went on, she felt a sense of loss. Like her being was drained of important elements.

Her mind began to panic and reach out in an attempt to fill the void that was created.

Suddenly she could feel her surroundings much clearer. Since she still could not see anything and was caught in the dark 

she concentrated all of her mental energy into this new sense of being and perception.

The information that she received made her question her state of mind. 

It seemed lie she was in an endless universe that was concentrated around a rift which sucked in all the surrounding energy.

She could also feel her own energy being drained from this rift. 

But the most astonishing fact was that she could feel other beings beside her. Millions no Trillions , maybe more, beings were 

gathered around her in this universe. Each one having their certain place in the universe and having no contact with each other. 

Still feeling the pull of the rift she concentrated on her problem at hand.

She searched her memories and found out that she had a few memory gaps. Concluding from all presented facts she was very sure that this rift stole her memories from her.

With all of her power, she fought against the pull.

The stronger she fought the more pain she felt.

It was a tearing sensation which enveloped her whole body. Instantly she wanted to cave in but then a memory of her brother 

surfaced and she could feel that if she did not fight for it, she would lose this memory forever.

So for this one memory of her brother in which he was the happiest he ever had been she fought.

It was her last treasure to protect. 

The pain got worse as the time went by but she could not part from the memory. Looking for a way out she once again searched her 

surroundings and fought an entity very near her that had a weak feeling. Without thinking about it, she drew closer to the being and in one

swoop devoured the being. It just felt right. Just as she devoured the essence her pain lessened. It was still there but not so intense as before. 

And she could feel her mind clearing up. Now that she was not as panicked as before, she thought about the events that transpired. 

Firstly she confirmed that she still had all the memories of her brother and then she thought about her actions.

It seemed like her devouring other beings strengthened her existing self and made her resistant to the rifts power. Without thinking she searched her surrounding for weak entities that could be easily 

devoured and started eating them, strengthening herself and securing her memories. 

After a while, all the relatively weak beings were devoured and she was conflicted. Should she start attacking the stronger once or should 

she wait for new weak creatures to come into existence.  

After a little inner discussion in which her inner devil beat up her inner angel, she decided to target the beings from her strength upward.

When she closed in on a stronger entity, she immediately felt the resistance of the being.

Slowly probing the creature and exhausting his powers in the process she continued approaching the entity.

As the chance arose to finish it off she pounced at it devouring it in one swoop.

Suddenly memories filtered into her mind. Of training, of relationships and of life itself.

It seemed like these stronger once still contained their memories and would give her their remaining once if she devoured them. 

After this experience, she started eliminating all the souls without hesitation growing stronger as the number of victims increased.

After a while, she was the only existence in the universe slowly drifting to the rift without feeling its pull.

She started to get curious as the time went by and she wanted to know what exactly the rift was.

When she was almost directly in front of the rift she felt something watching her. Something very old and very powerful but she could 

not see the creature that could emit such pressure.

Just as her being reached the edge of the rift a sudden pull catapulted her into the rift knocking her out in the process.
