Risa Bardolf or “Ris” for short was her given birth name in this world, that’s right a “she” apparently the goddess had some sort of twisted humor when creating the new body. There wasn’t any mention of gender swapping when they were talking about reincarnation, then again the likeliness of how she acted was mischievous, it didn’t seem impossible or out of stretch if that was her plan all along.
Something like “Fufu I didn’t mention what you were going to be reborn as” with a huge smirk on her face while laughing loudly in amusement popped inside Risa’s head. If people found out the god they been praying towards a jaunty. beautiful, tall woman who had a deceptive personality, she could only imagine the reaction on everyone's expression would be, especially the avid worshippers, it would be hilarious.
But, right now she was vex more than laughing with joy. Risa, who had originally been a male spent most of her life drowned in her work. She is completely unfamiliar with man to woman relationship.
Adding the fact that the goddess said the world was that of swords and magic, so she understood in this world there would be unavoidable battles in the future.
Risa needed to get strong as soon as possible. The female body put a burden that she needed to overcome, which will take time in order to get accustom to.
Apart from that, her family seem to come from a wealthy background, most likely a noble. The crib where she lay was made out of expensive wood. The room she was in was quite spacious for a single babies room Risa guessed this her’s alone. One could imagine giving a newborn such an extravagant lifestyle would make them spoil in the future.
Luckily, Risa wasn’t just any child she, who was previously a heroic figure from earth had tremendous experience in combat and discipline.
A click could be heard as the door gently open and light from the hallway entered the dark room.
“Little Ris it’s time for your meal~”
A woman in a maid uniform approached with a baby bottle and slowly put it in her tiny mouth. It was the same woman from before.
What’s this… Why does a simple formula taste so good! Even though I just woke up not too long ago….”
After, a few minutes the bottle had been completely empty putting Risa back into her reverie.

9 months had passed by and now Risa began to understand more about her family. The maid who always came at night to feed her was Belil Albree, not only does she feed her, she was a nanny, Risa personal caretaker, and also like to call her “Ris” as a nickname.
As for her dad she learned more about him. His name was James Bardolf, a rich and respected merchant in the capital who was also too busy for his child. He was even absent during her birth, which left a bitter taste in Risa’s mouth. If a father believes money is before his own children, and even not visiting her once. She decided to avoid him as much as possible if they ever do cross paths.
However, what shocked Risa was the her mother, Mary Bardolf who fell ill after giving birth, and was in a state of coma.
In the household of Bardolf, Risa was considered a curse child, after what happened to her mother. Most servants and slaves would put a good distance, shun of possible contact, unless ordered by Belil they didn’t want to be around her, which made her sad.
Belil was the only person Risa came to personally love and consider her a second mother. Other than that no one in the household felt a huge impact in her heart. Besides her real mom who had fallen ill she felt responsible and promised herself she would make her better in the future.
Every day was the same, eat, sleep, and repeat. She had grown bored of it and decided to do something that would boost her understanding of this world. In order to do that Risa needed to firstly learn how to read and write. She had guessed if this was a noble's mansion, there was bound to be books.
“Ris~”
Belil would always call me that whenever it was time to eat. Her melodic voice, which it gave off a pleasant ring to Risa’s ear.
“Ara ara why are you always standing up sweet little Ris fufu.”
It had became a habitat for her automatically climb the crib when Belil entered. She would always have an ecstatic expression whenever she did. It would make her happy, and for that it wasn’t that big of a deal, if she could see the delightful smile every time.
Ris stared with her pair of blue eyes at Belil.
“You’re just too cute! Here, you go.”
She brought the bottle filled with formula and on her other empty hand she had a child’s book.
“I even got you a story for you today. Since I know you must be bored fufu.”
Was this woman a wizard? Or was it just coincidence?
Ris instantly smiled and giggled in approval.
“I knew you would love it. Belil knows best after all.”
A smile appeared as if Risa mind had been read by her. This woman truly has a scary intuition.

Ignoring the large eyes of Ris, she went and grabbed a wooden chair next to the crib and sat down.
Slowly, Belil began to read to her in a quiet tone, her perfect pace and rhythm made Risa feel fatigue. But, she tried her hardest to stay awake. These quality times helped her learn more about the language. If she wanted to start her training early it would come from knowledge first.
After, 10 minutes Belil closed lightly closed the book.
“It’s time to sleep.”
She went and put the chair back and gave Risa a kiss on the cheek.
“Night Ris my dear~”

Risa, now almost six years old and already started training in the large backyard before sunrise. She would first warm up a bit, and after that Risa would grab the wooden sword and begin practicing. This sword she made it herself through carefully carving it out from a nearby branch that was lying around.
Swinging the sword she left an blur imagine with each constructive movement. In her eyes the surroundings became tranquil. Each step and attack was unified and no room for retaliation.
“HA!...”
The explosive force of the sword ripped through the air making her surroundings tremble. There was a glint in her eyes and a satisfied grin across her face. Risa had improved greatly in swordsmanship, in terms of skill she was on par with a high ranking knight.
This world had 4 different continents: Ertoz, Trirathiel, Seinia, and Eoweilith. Each one was the size of Asia and separated into different ruling empires. The most dominant was the humans other races such as elves, beastmen, demons, and dwarfs secluded themselves in forest or barren land, because the constant fear of enslavement and death.
Monsters were not feared to the extent of what she had anticipated. In fact, it was more or less human struggle for greed and power which were infesting the world. There were no basic rights for slaves or other races. The world she happened to reincarnate was indeed a corrupt one.
The mansion which Risa had been settling since now was in the continent of Ertoz, not far from the imperial capital. By carriage or horse it would take about 7 days. By foot it would take about 2-3 weeks.
She wanted to see the world in this vast land. The endless sky and ocean stirred her curiosity when reading the books about heroes and large beasts, just thinking about it made her want to grow faster.
As Risa had started again in her vigorous swings and slashes while lost in her own thought, a shout could be heard from behind, grabbing her attention.
“Ris! Time for dinner!”
Those same line always being said by Belil was always the same.
Belil stood near the door where the backyard and mansion connected waving her hands.
“Be right there!”
She gently took her wooden sword against the wall of the mansion and walked towards Belil.
“Jeez you’re always with that sword. Why can’t you be like a normal girls your age and play with dolls.”
Risa gave her a grin.
“Dolls won’t help me achieve respect.”
Belil could only sigh in resignation. What she said wasn’t false, but for a 5 year old, she acts a bit too mature for her age. Risa wasn’t interested in dresses or toys when she was a child only strength and that stupid sword.
“Let’s go. The foods going to get cold if you stay out here for too long.”
As Belil and Risa entered into the dining room different types of aroma filled the room. The array food made her stomach growl in hunger. After thanking the servants and talked to Belil a bit, Risa didn’t hold back anymore and ate.
The taste of delicious meat and vegetables was satisfying. Belil cook was superb and warmness spread throughout her body.
“Belil you’re the best cook ever! If I didn’t train everyday there is no doubt I would be a full of fat from the bottom up.”
“I’m glad, and hey! I wouldn’t let you eat this much if you didn’t burn it off from your routine everyday. You practically just become skinny and muscular instead. So, you should thank your nanny Belil for her kind instead service, fufu.”
“Oh…?”
Risa realize something…. The food she ate did seem quite strange when it entered her body. That warm sensation wait…
“That’s right! I made sure to nourish your muscles from the food you eat. I did after all put some medication here and there.”
“You what!”
Her tiny body body shouting made it awkward as the response didn’t seem like a child at all.
“Ris, don’t worry! It will only benefit you. Now, that I thought of something. You do see too mature for your age. Plus your battle capability has reach to this state training alone! I have made my decision!”
A bad premonition came over Risa as the next line was said by Belil.
“You will attend the royal academy entrance test tomorrow!”
