The alarm is ringing.

“It’s 5:30am... ah i need more sleep”

I stood up and left my bed, with closed eyes.I was trying to get

to the light switch and then tripped on something.

“Sh**,what did i trip on”

“My pizza from last week! It was alive”

“Oh,it was just a dream.I should get dressed up and go to college”As i started dressing up, my friend called me.

“Yo, Haru! There are huge sales happening in Akihabara today.

Wanna go?”

“I got college today... F*** it. Give me a minute”

“Okay, i am already infront of the dorm”

I grabbed my wallet and left the room. I started running to catch

the elevator which was closing.

“Stop,wait for me”

The doors of the elevator started opening.

There was a pretty brunette girl standing there with blue eyes bright as the sky.

“Thank you for waiting for me”

She didn’t said a word and just looked down.

There wasn’t any floor pressed on the pad.

So i asked her.

“Hey,for what floor are you”

“First floor’’ quietly she said.

I pressed the button and then a sudden silence started.

It was really uncomfortable and when we arrived she just started running out of the elevator.

“What is wrong with her,is she in hurry?!” I was confused.

“Hey, Haru. Come here” My friend called me.

“I’m coming”

We went to the nearest bus stop and waited for the bus.

I saw the girl from the elevator on the opposite side.

She was with another girl,probably her friend.

“Maybe she is skipping also classes.”

“What did you say? said Shou to Haru

“Nothing...”

“Get up our bus arrived!’’ said Shou

As we took off with the bus i saw the girls getting on a bus.

And we took off the bus, where infront of us were standing a whole lot of buildings

full with anime merchandises.

And in the horizon i saw far from me the blue-eyed girl with her friend.

For some reason i can’t stop looking at her.

“Come on Haru, this way.”

“Yeah, coming.”

“I wonder if she is also anime fan” For some reason i can’t stop thinking about her.

We went to the Maid Cafe with my friend , sat at the table at the corner.

Then one maid came to us and asked

“Master,what do you want to eat?”

“You.” Shou said

“I am really sorry for the behave of my friend. Please forgive him, he just loves maids a lot.”

“It’s okay~” said the maid as she was giggling

“We’ll take two omelets, please.”

“Coming right away~”

At that moment the bell on the door rang and the two girls from before came in.

“What are they doing here? Are they following us?!”

“Your omelets, masters~”

She smelled so good, like a peach. I couldn’t talk to them. When i went there i started washing my face because i didn’t need actually to use the toilet.

I should ask them if they go to the same university... hmm. As i left the toilet with full confidence the girls were gone and i started running towards Handa.

“Hey, isn’t it time to go shopping for some merchandise?”

“Yup, tottaly fogot, we should go.”

When we left the maid cafe i started to look around as crazy around for them.

I remembered how was she dressed: in black sweater and skirt and her friend was wearing white T-shirt and blue jeans. I witnessed her through the thousands of people going in Anime Store.

“We should definitely see that store around the corner!” said Haru

“Actually let’s run before they buy everything”

“Let’s do it ninja style” said Shou

“Sure”

We started running and everyone was looking at us but i didn’t care. At that moment i wanted only to see her. We got to the shop and i was looking for them on the first floor but they weren’t there. So i said to my friend

“Hey, the second floor has more interesting thing. I heard they are girls in maid outfirs doing some kind of event today.”

“What, really? Let’s go!”

We went on the second floor and i saw them both girls doing cosplay. The girl i was obsessed with was with pigtail pink wig and wearing dark dress, and her friend weared gray wig with school uniform.

“We should talk to them,Yuu. They look so pretty”

“What are we going to ask them? “

“We can ask them why are they in this outfits. Don’t be scared we are not losing anything talking to them.”

“Sure, let’s try”

We headed towards them and they suddenly stared at us. I was schocked. Did they know that we followed them?!

The girl from the evelator came closer and grabbed my hands, then said

“Hey, you are the boy from the elevator, please don’t tell anyone that i’m into cosplay! I will do anything.”

“Ahhh, i would’t tell anyone. I have only one friend which is here with me. Don’t worry about it”

“Yuu, do you know this girl?”

“We just met in the elevator today.”

“So you are living in the same dorm?” said Shou

“Yes!” - said Yuu and the girl from the elevator at the same time. Then her friend and Handa started laughing at them.

“You are in such sync.” said her friend while smiling.

“Do you go to University of Tokyo?” asked the girl from the elevator

“Yes, i am second year.”

“Me too. My name is Nakano Aki and this is Okane Hanami”

“Nice to meet you. My name is Fujita Haru and my friend’s name is Shimizu Shou”

“What are you dressed up for?” said Haru

“We’re just doing it for fun, going to shoot some pictures at a photo studio. Wanna come with us?” said Aki

“Hmm, wait a sec to talk about it with my friend”

I grabbed Shou and distanced ourselves from the girl, and then asked him:

“You cool with that, you were so excited for coming here. right?”

“Haru, this isn’t as important as the girls, we can come here everyday but girls like that you can see only once in a lifetime. Let’s hangout with them.”

“Ok, if you are sure we are going with them.”

At that time we came back wearing ninja costumes

As we went out of the store, everyone was staring at us cause we were looking as some people straight out of anime.

We looked at each other and started laughing.

“We look good, they are jealous of us!” said Hanami

“Yes, you’re right” said Shou

“Let’s hurry up for the studio” Aki joyfully responded

While Haru was so shy of himself looking like that so he was basically dead inside.

Aki patted him on the shoulder and said to Haru

“Don’t worry, you are looking lovely in this cosplay” Aki was smiling while saying it

We walked like ten minutes through the streets of the city with our heads in the sky.

When we arrived at the studio, we had only a few minutes till next people come. So we had time for only one pic.

“Let’s do one group picture and print it.” said Hanami to the rest

Everyone nodded as agreement and went to the lightning room.

“Let’s all do cute poses!” Aki suggested. I proposed all to do the peace sign and they agreed to it.

We took the picture and the went to the waiting room to wait for the picture to be printed in four copies.

It was full silence until Shou spoked.

“So i know that Nakano and Haru are studying in University of Tokyo, but where are you studying, Shimizu?

“I am studying in Tokyo University of the Arts, vocal course.”

“You are training to be singer?! That’s really incredible, i wish you good luck in this initiative!”

“Do your best!” said encouragingly Haru.

“Thank you so much guys, i will!”

“In what course are you, Nakano?” Haru asked

“I am in the Faculty of Letters, my dream is to be a writer. I am also writing light novels from time to time.”

“Wonderful, have you publicated till now a novel?”

Next, she gave each one a photo and we decided to go back to the dorms. While we were walking, there was Crêpe store and the girls wanted to get some.

“What crêpe would you like?” Shou asked all

“For me strawberry!” said Hanami

“Me also.”

“Haru, what do you want?

“You choose.”

“Okay, two strawberry crêpes and one kiwi.” Shou went with Hanami to queue and a moment of sudden silence started, then Aki pointed her finger up to the sky and said:

“Look, how beautiful is the sky today, dreamy orange - my favorite color. What is your favorite color, Fujita-kun?”

“Mint green, it expresses the new start.”

“You have good mindset, expected from a novelist.”

Haru blushed a little and started talking:

“Why do you like dreamy orange?”

“It remind me of the true childish dream, when we dreamed about being anything we wanted to be. It shows that there is no end to the human possibilities. The end that is never near.”

Haru spaced out thinking about the past when he read a novel about a girl and boy who wanted to be together but they couldn’t. This novel maked Haru very good impression and he wanted to be a novelist.

That was his childish dream.

“Haru? Did i say something wrong?” asked Aki

“...What? No i am just tired. Sorry!”

“There is nothing to apologize for, you should go to bed soon after we go back to the dormitory.”

Here they come, Shou and Hanami with four crêpes. They smell really good, i have no patience to take a bite.

“Should we eat the crêpes here?” asked Shou

“No, let’s eat while walking to the bus stop.” answered Aki

Why did Aki respond like that, was she worried about me not getting enough sleep today? Maybe she has her reason, what if she has a boyfriend and he waits for her right now so she is in hurry because of that.

Why would i care, a girl like that is too good for me. I should just stick with my 2D girls.

We went to the bus stop and then Hanami and Shou said they have to go:

“Fujita-kun, Shimizu-kun, was nice meeting you, hope we see each other again soon. Bye, Aki”

“Yeah, definitely would like to meet again!” responded Shou

“Same.” exclaimed Haru

“See ya.” said Aki

“Ok, then i have to go too, was a pleasure to meet you, Nakano-san. See you, saturday, Haru.”

After that i was all alone with Nakano-san on the bench waiting for the bus. Should i ask her if she has boyfriend? Noway, she is probably going to think that i am some creep, i should just not say anything.

Wait, i have an idea, i may ask her and tell her that i want just to ask some questions as reference for my new novel!

“Hey, Nakano-san, can i ask you a question about my new novel?”

“Sure.”

“Do you have boyfriend?”

“What is that question, are you writing a romance novel?”

“Yes.”

“Nope, i don’t have.”

“Have you had before?”

“Look the bus is coming!”

And i headed towards the dorm. I was happy cause i will see her again tomorrow.
