The soul beast he has chosen for his second soul ring was a 950 + years lone bamboo.

Yes it was the same lone bamboo Tang San and master had encountered and left due to it being not too good coice for spirit ring.

But this one was close to a thousand years of cultivation and it was very rare to find such lone bamboo. It was not one in a million chances but still difficult to find.

He has chosen it for 3 major reasons:

The hammer was the height of his upper waist. It woul probably be a stick forming skill but due to his great soul power control the skill modified itself according to his potential and can be formed into a blunt weapon.

Such was the mysteries of soul beasts and soul skills. If they were compatible with you they can take a form suited for you. And this lone bamboo was such a case.
