A gigantic white orbs appeared in the skies, right above Gareth.
Gareth had a disappointed expression all this while, but upon seeing the huge white orbs in the sky a small smile emerged on his face.
“DIEEEE!!!!!” Shouted the grey robed man, as he gestured for the orb to descent.
The gigantic downward facing sword, turned. The tip of the great red sword now face the almighty skies.
“Raging Ignition.” Shouted Gareth, with a wild laughter. “HAHAHAAHAHA, that what I’m talking about.”
The tip alongside the entire body of the great red sword, erupted into a wild scarlet flame. “Pierce that big balloon.” Shouted Gareth.
The great red sword turned into a huge streak of scarlet light, as it shot towards the huge white orbs.
*BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!*
The explosion blew away the entire landscape. The scarlet flames burned the white meteoric orb back to pure mana.
With a thud the grey robed man fell to his knees, staring at Gareth in disbelief. “I was so close. So close to achieving it. Why? Why was it taken away from me at the last moment?” He murmured like a mad man.
“See I don’t know what your goal was, and I didn’t want to crush it, but people from this city have gone missing along with a few of my men who were out here to investigate. I as a General am responsible for their arrival at their home to their wife’s, mother and kids. When they don’t return the blame falls on me. I swore an oath to protect them for as long as I live. Don’t take it personally, but this is for my men.” Spoke Gareth in a cold tone.
The gigantic great red sword shrank to fit Gareth’s hand. A swift red streak flew across the grey robed man’s neck, and his head was high up in the air accompanied by a torrent of blood.
“Guess our job here is done.” Spoke Royce in a respectful tone. He knew that right now the General was reminiscing for his fallen men, and now was not the time to fuck around.
“No just yet. I want to see what this weirdo was doing down there.” Spoke the General, staring at the huge hole on the ground.
“Oh right the underground base, I completely forgot about that.” Spoke Royce, as he leaned in forward to inspect it. “General how about you jump in first and I’ll just stay here and make sure that no one else enters.”
Just as Royce finished speaking, he felt a foreign force on his buttocks. Gareth had kicked him. “Eh!” The momentum of his body moved forward, as he lost his footing.
“Eh! General! No!” He cried.
Gareth once again sighed, and jumped down as well. He opened his eyes and saw nothing. It was pitch black.
Royce landed on his buttocks. “Ouch” he cried in pain.
Suddenly Gareth also landed near him.
“General where are you? General?” He shouted, as he couldn’t see anything.
“I’m here you idiot. Stop shouting, you’re giving me a headache.” Spoke the General in an annoyed tone.
Gareth immediately summoned orbs of flame to light the way. The passage was long and narrow. Even the extremely bright flame robs could help them see the end of the long and narrow passage.
The two walked, with Royce nagging to the General for kicking him down the huge hole.
“General I could’ve died down there. How could you do such a thing to me? Me your best friend?” Nagged Royce.

“Arggh, I should’ve kicked harder, then maybe you would’ve died and I wouldn’t have to suffer.” Grunted the General in annoyance.
The annoyance and the ignorance continued for a while, as they travelled down the passage way.
After walking for about an hour or so, they reached in front of a huge black door. With had engravings of ancient beasts.
Gareth summoned strength to his hands, and pushed opened the heavy doors.
“Woah! General. Are those some gains I see?” Shouted Royce.
“Will you shut up for five fucking minutes you rascal?” Murmured the General in annoyance.
“Alright, alright. I’ll stop enlightening you with fun little facts.” Spoke Royce.
“Your still talking.” The General face palmed himself. “What the hell was I thinking when I took you as my commander?”
The room behind the black door, was empty. Nothing as far as the eyes could see. In this atmosphere a pin drop could be heard like an explosion.
“Wait what’s that?” Spoke Gareth, staring into the darkness of the room.
“What? What?” Royce looked around in t confusion.
Rattling noises of an iron chain could be heard.
Gareth summoned even more light orbs. Approximately 20 meters from him was a chained figure. The figure was small, it either belonged to average female or a child.
Walking closer the General, could clearly see the figure. It was a young boy, around 10 years old. His body was weak and his skin was pale, due to malnutrition. His black disheveled hair, was really long. The boy was only wearing a pair or torn-up, worn out shots, that were clearly too small for him. His head hung low, made it hard for the General to get a good look at his face. By the boy’s side was a broken and rusted sword, around 20 inches long.
‘Why the hell is a child chained down here? Could that man be a perverted pedophile?’ the General’s mind paced through the various possible explanation, but his morale sense of justice didn’t allow him to think why the child would be chained down.
“Royce quickly untie this child.” He shouted.
“Eh! Me?” He responded in surprise. “I don’t wanna.”
“What did you say?” Asked the General with a sinister smile.
“Ah!, I said I’ll be glad to do it.” Spoke Royce with a forced smile.
“That’s my boy.” Smiled the General.
A slender red, flaming blade appeared in Royce’s hand. With a swift swing he chopped at the chain.
*TIINNGG*
The sound of metal ring, resonated throughout the room. The chain didn’t have a single scratch on it.
“General, for some reason I can’t channel any mana here. What’s wrong with this place?” complained Royce.
“What the hell are you talking about now? Then how the fuck did I summon my flame orbs, you douche?” Retorted Gareth.
“General, your flame orbs disappeared a while ago. I thought you knew.” Spoke Royce.
“What?” Spoke the General as he turned around in surprise. He looked around, and Royce was right! Not a single orbs was present.
The General tried summoning them, but mana couldn’t reach down here. “What the hell is going on?”
“I’ve never heard of a place, that mana can’t reach.” Spoke the General in astonishment.
