7. Meeting of the Generals

7. Meeting of the Generals

The Dark Lord, Mars. The oldest of the generals in the court of Solomon and the one most respected. His son is the now traitorous White Lord.

The Oracle of the Sun, Sola. The general who commands our religious sect, but she’s also a fearsome mage in battle.

The Blood Rain, Enad. The general feared for being the strongest in war.

“The Wind Princess. That is I, Viene La Noire de Albion… hey are you listening!?”

Levia waved her hand.

“Yea, yea sure. But we’re missing two right?”

An advisor nodded. “The White Lord, Melidict. And his wife, the Tempest, Driea.”

“I must beg for your apology Sir Levia!”

The Dark Lord, Mars bowed down to the floor in front of Levia.

“My son… he is now a traitor to the kingdom. If I could, I would give you my life to wash away this disgrace.”

Levia laughed. “Ahaha! Don’t worry! I’ll make sure to kill him for you! No need to take your life then right? If you want to make yourself useful, recruit more cute women into the army!”

Mars thought to himself, “This Levia… she wishes not for me to bare the blood of my own son. She wishes to spare me the pain by doing the horrendous deed herself. What a true, noble hero…”

Mars got up and took Levia’s hands.

“You truly are the most noblest of heroes.”

Levia nodded as he looked at the old general. “Ah yes. Erm, mind if you stop touching me? You’re wrinkly.”

Mars stuttered as he backed away. “Y-yes of course.”

The Blood Rain, Enad walked up to Levia.

“And what will you do to the traitorous army in whole?”

Levia grinned. “Why? I’ll kill them all to make an example of my power. Of course I’ll spare the cute women!”

Enad nodded as he backed away, thinking to himself. “This Levia… she wishes to take on the role as the tyrant to bring order and stability to this land. Even though brothers must fight brothers and fathers must slay fathers… She wishes to make sure this insurrection will never happen again by staining her name in history. She wishes to show the futility of war by showing it in its full horror and preventing the future generations of our kingdom from ever engaging in such brutal acts. Truly she is a self- sacrificing hero.”

Enad smiled as he bowed towards Levia. “You are truly a strong person. I also wish to see if your ability in combat is as strong as your ideals one day.”

Levia looked towards Enad. “Eh you wana spar? Sure, but just know that I’m the strongest! Ahahaha!”

Enad spoke. "King Solomon is the strongest of all of us here. However his sickness these past years have wearied him considerably. He can no longer fight."

Levia gave a thoughtful nod. "Yea. I know."

The group chattered aimlessly until Mars looked at Enad with curiosity. “Where is Sola? She is late.”

Viene spoke out. “She said she was still in discussion with the Sun Goddess about some matters and cannot help at the moment.”

Enad shook his head. “I wished we could have used her magic to lessen the slaughter… but it seems like it is to no avail.”

Mars looked at Levia with hope. “That’s why we have Sir Levia. Although we have had seen many male heroes, rarely have we seen any female heroes. We were always under the assumption that the male heroes were the most powerful beings on this earth. But it seems that female heroes are just as strong, if not stronger. Now I realize that… It is pitiful that most of our populace cannot see through that.”

Viene nodded her head in rare agreement in accordance to Levia. “Women can be strong.” She then bitterly mumbled to herself. “But some people can’t see past that.”

Levia laughed as she gave a loud clap.

“Alright! We’ll go take on the rebellious army and come back victorious!”

They all saluted, even Viene.

“Yes sir!”

Levia smiled as she spoke to herself. “Nothing is going to stop my conquest…”
