Introduction

The bitter cold pierced the air, swirling snowflakes dancing with the wind as they descended upon the desolate ground. However, the tranquility of the winter landscape was disrupted by a loud cry and an unsettling scent of blood that lingered in the air.

"Alan, you bastard…." Clutching the hole in his chest, a man looked at the young boy before him in horror.

They were the last surviving prisoners in Viyyur jail. After the apocalypse one month ago, the authorities evacuated all criminals from the prison, except for some horrible people like them.

Without enough food and clothing, they started fights, eventually escalating to murders. He and Alan were cellmates, so they formed a team and killed all their opponents.

After countless attempts, when they finally found a way to escape this hell, Alan attacked him without warning. He was both surprised and angry at the same time.

"Why? We were cellmates for a year! I helped you countless times… Why?" Gasping in pain, he asked with great difficulty.

Looking at the man kneeling in front of him, Alan laughed loudly. "Did you forget what kind of beast you are?"

"Both of us are the same? Don't act like a saint." He roared with red eyes.

"No, we are not," Alan murmured in a low voice. Thinking about some past events, he clenched his fists. His nails scratched deeply on his palm, making the blood drip from the scratches.

"Ha, then why are you on death row? Alan, both of us are the same, even if you don't accept that it was the truth." Knowing that his life was not guaranteed, Chami spoke with a crazy laugh. Blood dripped from his mouth with every word.

Looking at the crazy expression of Chami, Alan's eyes turned cold, "Chami, birthplace Mumbai. Leader of a drug gang, convicted of raping a girl and burning her body." He paused slightly and then stepped on Chami's crotch.

With the accompaniment of gut-wrenching roars from Chami, Alan repeated, "You deserve death."

Alan looked at the painful expression of Chami, and a satisfied smile appeared on his mouth. What he hated most in his life were criminals like him. Thinking about his little sister, his eyes filled with tears.

He and his sister were orphans. In this cruel society, she was his only brightness in life. But one day, after she left for school, what returned home was her cold body. Two men brutally raped her.

He tried every possible way to bring them to justice. But one of them was the son of a minister, so he quickly escaped with the help of a scapegoat.

How could he accept that? He killed that man. His murder was more brutal, skinning him alive. The police caught him quickly, and the court sentenced him to death. But for him, death was a relief.

When he thought everything was over, fate played him in the form of an apocalypse.

In the year 2030, everything changed. The once luminous sun vanished, replaced by an ominous and colossal "eye." With its arrival, the warmth and light that graced the earth for eons were extinguished, leaving behind a frigid, desolate wasteland.

Without the sun, the earth became cold, and humans escaped underground. That's all he currently knew.

Looking at the dark sky and the big eye that seemed to be closed, he sighed. "What do I do now?"

Suddenly, the earth started to convulse with a terrifying force. The ominous rumblings grew louder, drowning out all other sounds.

"Huh, this seems to be a better end for me…" A relieved smile appeared on his face as the ground beneath him split open, revealing a dark chasm.

His body plummeted into the depths of the crack. The air rushed past him, whipping against his face. Disjointed images flashed through his mind like fragments of a broken mirror. Memories, regrets, and dreams intermingled in a chaotic dance as gravity claimed its tragic hold over him.

Time.

"If you had picked your sister from school, she would be with you now." a voice echoed in his ear.

"Who?" He asked in rage. That was a deep regret in his life.

Time.

"If she had waited a few minutes for the school bus, her fate would be different."

Time.

"If those bastards had been late for a few minutes, you wouldn't have become a murderer."

"So what decided your fate?" The voice stopped momentarily.

"Time…" he murmured in a daze. Thinking about his sister's smiling face, tears streamed down from his eyes.

"Now, if I give you that power, could you fight against that huge 'eye'?" That question snapped him awake from his slumber.

"Say, who are you? And why should I fight with that thing?" He asked coldly in his mind.

"Can't you see the suffering of people?"

"Why should I care?" He chuckled in a low voice. If he could open his eyes now, he would roll them.

"What if you could bring back your sister?"

"What do you mean by that?" His breath quickened.

"I will give you the power to do that. You don't need to do any charities, but remember that you will be my heir from now on."

"Okay," he answered without waiting for a second. For the rebirth of his sister, he was ready to oppose the whole universe.

"Don't you want to know about me?" The voice sounded nearer to him this time. He found that he could move his eyelids. Opening his eyes, a bright light blinded him for a second. After adjusting to the light, he looked around the surroundings.

"This... What the hell?"
