In my lab I set up holding cells for the life forms I will be creating. I first needed to create animals for Cerandle and leave them be a few hundred years so that the continent would be more natural for my sentient life forms to arrive on. I started designing the aspects of the creatures, as some can use magic, some are hostile, and some have special abilities only other of their brethren could have. I decided to hold off on creating dragons as I wanted them to be able to have a mind of their own like the sentient beings I’d be creating. I categorised my creations, one category for animals which is good for breeding and food, while another category for monsters who eat the animals and attack beings. Of course I also added peaceful creatures into the mix who could be good for pets, for example one creature who eats plants, is shaped like a lion cub with white fluffy fur.

After creating these creatures I tested each of them to see if they fit their specified species I planned out for them then released them off into the continent of Cerandle. I also released fish and sea monsters in the surrounding ocean as well. After finishing all that work I decided it would be best to slowly plan out my ideas for sentient life forms and dragons, as I wait out a few hundred years to see their development.
