The Emerald Under The Oak's Shade

The Emerald Under The Oak's Shade

Chapter 2

A middle, was spotted standing with a elderly man, inside a house. The young man had a terrified expression on his face as he walked around in a circle, appearing to be worried about something. He appeared to be gazing toward a certain door from where pained screams could be heard.

The man's graceful face was showcased by a ray of light that reflected off the door as it slid open, creating a sound. A woman left through the door. They each gave each other a quick glance and nodded. That's when the elderly man approached. He showed little emotion when he arrived other from the two.

The room was crowded with people, and they were all staring at the door. While resting on the bed, a woman with a stunning and refined face, barely opening her emerald blue eyes she gave off a weak but distinct aura.

As she gave birth, the woman cried out in anguish. Her shouts reverberated across the space.

Suddenly, there was a great gust of wind and a white horse appeared at the room window. The horse had wings and a horn in the middle of its eyes.

Its eyes swept over everyone in the room and settled on the newborn.

It came in through the window, displaying its grandeur and grace. It came to a stop before the infant and squatted on the ground, bending its head to gaze at it.

Gasp!

Everyone in the crowd gasped. It was an uncommon scene to witness.

There was a slight smile on the elderly man's face.

He took the boy in his arm and started examining the boy with a look of enthusiasm on his face.

When the boy's blue emerald-colored eyes opened, he saw that the elderly man was dancing with delight. He lifted his hand, reaching to the elderly man's nose, and started playing with it. As he played with the child, the elderly man was quite happy with it.

"Arthur will be this child's name," declared the elderly man.

15 years later

In a garden where the sweet scent of flowers fills the air. Something appeared to be happening as a group of people formed a circle and left some room in the center.

In the area the throng was created, two boys who looked to be approximately fifteen years old appeared. Each of them was gripping a wooden-carved sword. Although they were both breathing heavily, one of them seemed to be breathing more than the other.

A group of three middle-aged ladies were standing well away from the crowd in a structure that had a roof, several chairs, and was open to the public on all sides. They had lovely skin and exquisite forms, making one feel as though something was standing and won't lie down.

There was one woman in particular that stuck out from the rest of them. Her busty balloons were barely keeping in place by her blue attire.

Seated in her right corner was a concerned woman wearing green clothing.

On here left was woman wearing yellow clothing, and a newborn child in her arms.

The woman in yellow, holding a toddler, remarked, "They seemed to be going at it again."

"It seems like it," the blue-clad lady said in a monotone manner.

"Where are the other kids?" inquired the woman in green, who had not yet spoken, in an anxious manner.

Just as the woman in yellow was ready to finish her sentence, someone said, "They must be playing around as always".

Two figures appeared, racing towards the structure to see who would arrive first.

As they approached the building, the figures became more visible; they appeared to be a boy and a girl of similar age and appearance.

The girl with black hair, dressed in red, arrived before the middle-aged womens, as she declared, "See, I won," in a triumphant tone.

The boy in the yellow attire with slightly messy black hair cried out, panting more heavily, "Alm..ost".

"Looks like our Dorian can't accept his lose to a girl." The girl gave a small laugh.

The boy gave a furious snort. He became embarrassed when he saw how everyone else was staring at him.

After a brief moment "Where is your third brother?" inquired the woman dressed in blue.

The girl said, "He's at the oak tree, sleeping in its shadow as always."

The boy stood to the side of the group and added, "He didn't even play with us when we asked and just ignored us." His voice was unhappy.

"Come call him over here" the women ordered.

They both obeyed her words in return. And once more ran as fast as they could toward the forest's corner.

When they came to the end of the forest, they saw a huge oak tree that reached the clouds near the cliff. In front of the tree was a sea that was full of aquatic life and was reflecting the sun's rays, creating a scene that would fill anybody who saw it with tranquility and calm. The sea provides a soothing view and may be considered a stress-relieving medium.

There was a boy in blue attire resting peacefully and quietly in the shade of the tree, with his arms folded behind his head. His complexion as fair as jade, and his attractive face and black and blue hair floating in the air, creating a scene that may enchant many.

Two figures were seen running towards the oak tree. One outrunning the other, and the other doing the same thing, running with all of their strength so as to deny the other person the taste of triumph.

Pant!

Heavy panting could be heard as they got closer to the tree, the lad who was sleeping opened his emerald-blue eyes, opening them as if it were a treasure that matched his outfit.

As they got closer to the youngster, the two figures were clearly visible. One was a girl wearing red clothing, while the other was a boy in yellow.

The girl chuckled, "Looks like I won again."

With a determined voice, the child said, "Next time, I will win for sure."

The sleeping youngster got up from his nap and approached them from behind.

The youngster approached them thinking, 'Why are they here again after I chased them away? This is really bothersome'.

When the two heard footsteps behind them, they looked back to see a figure in blue clothing approaching them. The girl said breathing heavily,"Third brother, Lady Adriana has summoned you," and the boy, appearing calm on the outside, panicked but said, "Lead the way".

Two boys who were wearing the same clothing were seen fighting in the yard with people encircling them.

One had blue hair, a sword in his hand, and a powerful aura emanating from him. He appeared ready to attack the opponent at any moment.

'It's really difficult to hold back' the boy thought to himself as he peered ahead and his gaze on a boy with black hair who was breathing heavily and had torn clothes. The child was determined not to give up and kept moving forward, not wanting to give up.

Approaching the structure where some mid-aged women were visible to the blue and black hair boy.

The youngster moved to approaching figures, said, "I have seen the ladies of the En Schwert household".

The three nodded on response.

Lady Adriana asked, "Have you forgotten what day it is today?"

"No, I wouldn't dare do it"The boy dressed in blue stated continuing, "Today is the day we visit the Morgaine household and check my elemental affinity ".

'Yeah, you would, brother,' the figures in their mind simultaneously said.

"Alright, get ready, we're heading out soon," the middle-aged woman in green said with excitement.

"You are then excused" Lady Adriana remarked.

In response, the three nodded and moved on.

"Third brother, you must be happy since we are heading to the Morgaine house.Heheheheh," said the girl in a chepish tone.

"you...."The boy in blue mumbled.

Meanwhile, in a dimly lit space,There were two individuals standing, one with his back to the window and the other with his head down, respectfully waiting for the command. There was silence in the area as well as a variety of bookshelves stocked with different books and records. The moon shone brightly and coldly through the open window. From one window to the next, a chilly breeze was blowing.

Standing there, staring out the opened window was a figure.

Without turning around, the person broke the silence and inquired, "How is the preparation going?"

"All the preparations have been completed, My Lord," the figure kneeling said in response.

After some contemplation "You are dismissed". The standing figure gave an order.

At the command, the kneeling figure stood up, silently exited the room, and shut the door.

A smirk appeared on the standing figure's gaze as it sank to a certain distance, and then he disappeared from the room as if he had never been there.
