"You ready?"
"Backing up didn't seem like an option."
During the span of two months, Many thing were clear.
"Whatever's inside, it ain't normal."
"Stuffs arenn't normal anyway. That's what we're gonna end."
She smirkeded. "You sounds like you've got everything straight."
I tried my best to advert her eyes."Things have changed."
Indeed. Life became much more natural than it should be after eerything gone haywire. There's finally a purpose for actually doing something. It's hard to admit, but In other words, I might really have got things straight.
"It's our last battle." I did my best not to lower my head and force my emotions down. It's not the time for that.
"True. Hard to belief it'd been only two months."
Time flies.
We gazed into the ominously familiar black in front of us, its portal frame glistening as light above shrouded us both.
You could sense the aura of whatever its got on its interior, even if seperated by a portal.
I placed my hand on Eliana's head and ruffled her sleek ebony hair. Like usual, she nuzzled against my hand like a cat and allowed my palm to slide down to her cheek. My tangled-up thoughts loosened. But her moves were't as natural, and it took me a minute to realize.

"You're trembling."
"Am not."She protested. Apparently her tone wasn't as sharp.
But I can't argue. Whatever shook Eliana up wasn't pleasant.
It's been a long way since our first encounter. And we both learned, all for this particular universe, this portal.
And It's clear to me that we'll have to part one way or another.
"March the seventh."I muttered.
"Things will work out. I promise."
A promise unfulfilled. We both knew.
Heat waves stroke from the other side of the portal, thrusting out its invisible hands like a forcefield, like it had been so many times before, both intensive and soothing. The dragging of infinite pace.
I nodded reassuringly and stopped to gaze into those beautiful azure irises for the last time. A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth.
She smiled back. That was enough.
We laced our fingers together. Tightly, for what's coming next. Sensing Eliana's warmth, I summoned Ex. And once again, with my heartbeat pumping in my ears, we took a step forward, and let the portal's endless darkness devour us whole.
