Chapter 1 - I Want to Be Strong
The light of the moon shone between the clouds on this particular night. It was a very special night, for a boy who had been nothing but ordinary throughout his entire life had just tripped while he was climbing downstairs outside his apartment. He died. There was really not much significance to his death, he did manage to get a special article written about him though. It was because he was the same person that had been reported to the security department 5 times for carrying a knife around campus. Ironically, he would probably not have broken his neck, but as this knife was tied on his lanyard when he fell it got caught on the top of the handrail while he was falling and was the reason he died.
Now why is this of any importance? Well, I’m sure your thinking that this will come back later in the story as an attempted murder or some event with greater hidden details, but this is not that kind of novel. Our main character seriously died from tripping while walking down stairs and there really wasn’t anything more to it… As for why the title of this chapter is “I want to be strong” well… er… I figured it made for better clickbait. Oh right, now that the main character has died let’s call him main character 0 and go find another one.

“Demon decimating sword slash!” the squeaky voice of a five year old rang out in a desolate mountain range.
“Oi, your this useless imbecile can you atleast not squirm when calling out your ultimate move as if you’re embarrassed by it!” the annoyed voice of a 70 something year old woman echoed.
“But grandma, it is embarrassing to say such an idiotic thing out loud,” the five year old complained.
“Embarrassing? You want to talk to me about embarrasing? It’s embarassing for me that my grandson is too embarassed of the name of the ultimate technique I devoted my life to creating,” the old lady violently harrumphed.
“Don’t be that way grandma. Can’t I just use your technique without shouting the name out to the public?”
“NO! If you don’t tell them its name how would they know it? This creation of mine needs to have at least this minimum amount of prestige.”
The five year old groaned inwardly.
“I heard that groan. If I ever find out that you used this technique without roaring its name alloud with all your pride and dignity I will show all of your gross naked poop lathered baby photos to your future wife so she can laugh her head off at you! We’ll see if that’s more or embarrassing or shouting out my sword techniques name in the dignified tone of a powerhouse.”
“LAAA!!!!” The five year old panicked when he heard this. Those photos of his were truly too embarrassing. What more, his grandmother was actually using them to blackmail him. Damn it, why wasn’t he a smarter baby when he was younger!
This youngster is precisely our new protagonist. He lives in a world of buddhas where all the people are as kind to the world as they are to each other. No conflicts of greed exist in this world nor crazy demonic beasts or anything that threatens the peace. WAIT… This sounds a bit off. Why the heck is a five year old who lives in a world of peace cultivating such a scary sounding sword art?
Oh, I see. Now I get it. My dear readers, this is a world not full of buddhas yet, but will be. Our main character 1, is precisely the great saint who will change his current cruel martial world into a more peaceful one!
