As Kanata and Miyabi rounded the second corner a school buliding could be seen and then a few more feet to the side another school building could be seen these two school buldings were Shiromori Highschool where all the kids in highschool in the area went and Miyokazaki Junior High the school kids in middleschool went to "Wow, when they said these two schools were in walking distance of each other I didn't believe it" Kanata said in amazment measuring the distance between the two schools "Nii-san" Miyabi said queitly "Hmm, What is it Miyabi?" Kanata asked looking at his sister "Can, can you walk with me to my school?" she asked Kanata looked at his sister and smiled softly "Yeah, Sure I can stand to be a few more minutes late" Kanata replied. "Thank you" Miyabi said smiling heartfully "How about I do that each day?" Kanata asked Miyabi got flustered "What?! why I'm not little anymore onii-chan you don't need to do that!" she yelled angry and embarassed Kanata chuckled as he say the embarassed look on his sisters face "I'm just messing with you Miyabi I know you can get to school safe on your own" Kanata said through a laugh "It's not like i would have minded" Miyabi mumbled "What was that?" Kanata asked "Oh, nothing, nothing!" Miyabi said speeding past Kanata partly embarassed of what she said "I can't believe i said that" she said to herself. Kanata chuckled a bit and soon the sibling had reached the highschool Kanata would be attending Miyabi stopped and waited for him to catch up with her he stopped in front of her and looked at the new school he'd be attending then he looked at his sister "Alright, now I would go right in but i did promise you i'd walk you to your school" he said with a smile Miyabi smiled back with delight she gave a happy nod and she started walking again as Kanata fallowed her. "Onii-chan?" Miyabi suddenly asked looking back at him "What is it Miyabi?" Kanata replied "Why is it you want me to make friends?" she asked Kanata was surprised he was flusterd for a bit then he said "I want you to make friends so that when I'm not around at home you have someone to keep you comapany while i'm gone so you won't be all alone" he explained Kanata saw his sisters face turn bright red she noticed and turned her head forward "Oh, I see" she said Kanata laughed again he loved it when Miyabi acted like that "So that's why onii-chan wants me to make friends" she said to herself "It's because he's worried about me being all alone" she mumbled after that the two walked in silence as the arrived at the middleschool which Miyabi would be attending they stopped infront of the enterance and Miyabi turned and faced her brother "Alright, bye onii-chan" she said with a small wave "Alright, make sure you pay attention in class I don't want to here that you'r grades aren't good" Kanata said jokingly Miyabi growled in anger and she gave Kanata a light kick in the leg "Ow! hey what was that for?!" Kanata yelled "You know I do better in school than you do!" she said flaring "Alright, alright, sorry geez, i was just kidding" Kanata said scratching his head Miyabi laughed with amusement and then she quickly gave Kanata a hug and ran off into the school Kanata smiled as he watched his little sister disappear into the school building after a bit he walked off heading back to the highschool he walked slowly back with his hands in his pockets he looked at the sky and smiled he wondered if his parents in heaven were proud of his deciding to raise his sister himself and he wasn't watching where he was going thats when he bumped into someone he fell to his butt and groaned in pain "Ow, what the hell did i hit?" he said confused he then heard a female voice call to him "Hey are you alright?" the girl asked. Kanata looked and saw a girl about half his height with long starwberry blonde hair tied into a long ponytail and bright light-blue eyes wearing a uniform similar to his but for a girl Kanata quickly got up off the ground "Oh, sorry I wasn't watching where I was going so sorry!" Kanata apologized offering the girl his hand "Oh, no don't worry about it neither was I" she replied the girl then looked at Kanata hard and noticed his uniform "You must be a student of the same highschool as me what year are you in? As of today I'm I first year" the girl said taking Kanata's hand "So am I" Kanata replied pulling the girl off the ground to her feet "Well that's great me and you are both first years" the girl said with a smile Kanata blushed this girl was the first one besides Miyabi that he talked to the girl then dusted her skirt off and looked at Kanata "Let me introduce myself I'm Miyato Nobuo and I'm 17, and you are?" the gril asked "Oh, my name Kanata Morihiro, and I'm 18" Kanata replied "Kanata Morihiro, alright got it!" the girl said with a smiled then she gasped "What am I doing!? If i don't hurry I'll be late for the first day!" the girl said "Later!" she said and quickly took off Kanata just stood there in confusion he then snapped back to reality "Oh crap! she's right!" kanata exclaimed then he started running he quickly passed the girl he just met and raced to the enterance gate of the school when he got there he raced inside and stopped to catch his breath he looked and saw that many studnets were wandering around the ground of the school "Oh no! I missed the enterance ceramony!" he said in dismay. Kanata mopped for a bit then he sighed as he grugingliy walked with the other students to make as if he was actually there but then a voice called to him "You there young man I say wait!" called a older male voice Kanata stopped and turned around standing in front of him was an old man with silverish grey hair which was pulled back he had very brod shoulders and wore  glasses and a black suit and tie and a pin on his shirt read 'Princibal Miyamoto' Kanata cursed under his breathe he felt embarrassed he had just made his sister promise him that she wouldn't cause trouble but it looks like he was the one causing trouble "Ah, hello sir how can I help you?" Kanata asked nervously the princibal studied him hard for a bit he sighed "I don't remember seeing you at the ceramony today boy" the princibal replied "Yes sir I was a little late getting here on time" Kanata said having no good reason to lie "Honest aren't you usually kids lie about that and say they were" the princibal said with a smile "Since you were honest with me I'll tell you what's going on"the princibal said loooking sternily at Kanata "All the students are heading to the enterance of the school building there is a billboard there on the left wall that gives a list of what classes you kids will be placed in" he explained Kanata stood and memeorized for a bit "Alright, enterance, left wall, class list, Got it!" Kanata exclaimed "Alright then you best be off you were already late once today lets not make that a second time" the princibal said "Yes sir!" Kanata said racing off. He quickly made it to the enterance area of the school he went in and saw a big group of students huddled around the left side of the wall "Ah, here we go" he said wandering over to the big group of kids when he got behind the last person in the group it was kinda hard for him to look and find his name so he waited a bit then as more and more people left the closer he was able to get to look at the list closely after another few minuets he was close enough to read out the name "Now, let see Kanata Morihiro?" he mumbled searching for his name he scoured the list until he spotted his name "Ah, there it is let's see.." he said studying the list "Class 2-A, it's on the second floor" he said then he looked at the layout of the school that was on the wall next to the billboard he studied it until he found what he was looking for "Alright, the stairs to the second floor is down this hall and I take a left turn  down the second hall" he repeated to himself he then walked away he then looked for his shoe locker he looked at every locker until he saw his name come up "Ah, here we go" he said after finding it he changed his shoes and closed his locker then from behind came a very familiar voice one he had heard before "Hey it's you again!" came a female voice Kanata looked to his right side and standing beside him was the girl he bumped into only a few minuets ago outside "Oh, it's you again.." Kanata stuttered he couldn't remember the girls name "Miyato, Miyato Nobuo" the girl said "Oh yeah, now I remember the girl I bumped into on the way here I'm still sorry about that" Kanata replied apologeticliy "Oh no, you don't have to be sorry I told you I wasn't watching were I was going" Miyato said with a smile. "Uhm, if I remember right you said your name was Kanata right?" Miyato asked "Yeah. Kanata, Kanata Morihiro" Kanata replied "I'm sorry I just rushed off like i did earlier I just didn't want to be late" Miyato said "So, did you make it on time?" Kanata asked "Yeah, barely I was able to get in when the princibal told us how to find out our classes" she said "So did you make it you were kinda late yourself" the girl asked "Uhg, no i didn't make it plus the princibal caught me being late" Kanata said with a side "Oh, bummer sorry about that" Miyato said with a sorry smile "No big deal he told me what I had to do" Kanata said "Oh, that was nice of him when I saw him I though he'd be a really mean guy but it seems he's okay" Miyato said with a sigh of relief "So, did you find out what class your in?" Miyato asked "Yeah, class 2-A on the second floor, you?" Kanata replied "I'm in class 3-C down here" Miyato said Kanata and Miyato talked for a while longer "Ah, so you just moved here?" Miyato asked "Yeah, I was living with relatives until I turned 18" Kanata said "So, your new to this town then?" she asked "Yeah, when it comes to being fresh to the area i'm the freshest" he replied Miyato giggled a bit "Uhm, if you want maybe after school I can show you some good places around here" Miyato offered "I would but after school I have work so I can't" Kanata said "Oh, well then another time then" Miyato replied "So, have you lived here a while?" Kanata asked "Yeah, I lived here since I was a kid" Miyato replied smiling with delight thats when an all familliar voice filled Kanata's ears "Mr.Morihiro a pleasure to see you again" came a male voice Kanata gulped he looked an saw the princibal looking at him with a stern look on his face "Oh, Mr.Princibal good to see you again too" Kanata chuckled nervously the princibal look over at Miyato "And you are?" he asked "Oh, Miyato, Miyato Nobuo sir" Miyato replied frazzled "Well Mr.Morihiro and Ms.Nobuo I'll have you know it's all fun talking with friends but when you'r almost about to be late for class" the princibal said Kanata and Miyato looked around they found they were the only two still standing at the enterance the blushed in embarassment "Now, it is the first day so the teachers and I will be leaniant on you for now but, please remember that being late will not be tolarated later in the year" he said with a smile "Yes sir!" they replied. "Good, now if you two do know where you're going I suggest you head there now if you don't want to be late" the princibal said putting his hands behind his back Kanata and Miyato gave a nod of goodbye and ran off together they split when it came to the turn in the hallway "Kanata-kun we'll continue our talk later!" Miyato yelled giving a small wave Kanata looked back at Miyato while he raced to the stairs "Hu? Yeah sure see ya then!" Kanata said and he waved back Kanata faced forward and picked up his pace then it hit him "Wait, did she call me Kanata-kun?!" he said blushing more then the red faded from his face "Seems like I've already made a friend here" he thought to himself for some reason making friends off the bat like that was normal for him then his mind drifted to Miyabi "I hope that Miyabi will be able to make friends at her school" he said hopful he then saw the stairs to the second floor and raced up them he scanned the room numbers until he saw 2-A the door was still open he rushed in and stopped in his tracks the bell then rang and he let out a sigh of relief "Huff..made it on time" he said out of breath the other kids in the class quickly found a desk to sit at Kanata fallowed suit and found a desk to sit at he chose the thrid desk in the row closest to the window and he sat down still exsaughsted from all the running he did he put his book bag down and layed his head on his desk "Huu, I wonder if Miyabi is having a better time then me" he said in wonderment thats when the homeroom teacher walked in and began class the day was filled with mostly the usual stuff a highschool would do on the first day then after a bit of time it came time for lunch Kanata sighed with boredom and stretched his arms then something clicked in his head "Oh yeah, Miyato said something about continuing our talk" he said remembering which made him blush Miyato would be the first girl besides Miyabi that he had talked with he shook his head to get the thought out of his head  then a voice called to him "Uhm, Morihiro-san?" came a male voice Kanata looked and saw a guy standing by the side of his desk he was rather short with shaggy brown hair and he had hazel eyes he had a bit of a shakiness to his voice "Uhm, yeah that's me who might you be?" Kanata asked "Uhm, I'm Morishi Kantanaka I sit 2 desks across from you" the boy replied pointing to his desk "I see, is there something you need from me Morishi-kun?" Kanata asked "Uhm, yeah" he pointed at the classroom door "There's someone who wants to see you" he said "Someone to see me who?" Kanata asked in confusion he then looked and saw none other then Miyato standing in the doorway to his classroom when she saw he noticed her she smiled and gave him a small wave "Mi..Miyato-san?" he said shocked "Uhm, do you know her?" Morishi asked "Yeah, sort of thanks Morishi-kun" Kanata said with a girn of thanks "Your welcome" Morishi said and he walked off Kanata groaned and got up out of his desk and walked over to the door "Hey, Miyato something you need?" Kanata asked Miyato smiled "Didn't i say that we'd continue our talk from earlier later?" she replied "Oh yeah I remember! Gladly" Kanata repleied with a grin "Okay, how about you come with me to the lunch room me and you can talk there" she said "Alright sure let me get my lunch from my bag!" he replied Miyato gave him a small nod Kanata quickly ran in and rummeged around in his bag and pulled out his lunchbox which Miyabi had made him he smiled "Wonder if Miyabi is eating with a friend right now" Kanata then remembered Miyato was waiting at the door he then closed his bag and picked it up he then ran back to the door  "Alright I'm good lead the way" Kanata said Miyato smiled and she started walking and Kanata fallowed behind her. They went down the stairs and took a few turns in the hallways then they came to the lunchroom many students were lined up to eat and some were sitting at a table chatting with others "Alright, why don't you go find a spot to sit while I go grab some lunch" Miyato said Kanata looked around and spotted an empty table "How about over there" he said pointing to the table he scouted out "Alright, you go sit down I'll be there ina bit" Miyato replied Kanata nodded and walked to the table while Miyato went to get in line he sat down and opened his lunchbox his face light up "Alright, Miyabi made my favorite!" he exclaimed his sister knew him well all his favorites where in his lunch then he began to eat after a bit Miyato came and sat down on the opposite side of him she set her tray down "So, where were we until we were rudley interupted earlier?" she asked starting to eat herself "Mhh, I believe I had asked if you lived her your whole life" Kanata said swallowing a bite of food "Oh, thats right! Well, I was born here so yeah I pretty much lived here all my life what about you?" Miyabi asked she said through some chewing "What do you want to know?" Kanata asked he stopped eating for a bit "Well, you said you just moved here 3 years ago where did you live before that?" she asked still eating Kanata then told Miyabi about his life before coming to where he was now "Wow, so you've lived and moved in alot of different places" Miyabi replied she had finished eating and had been listening intently to Kanata "Does one of your parents have an improtant job or somthing since you moved alot?" Miyato asked Kanata tensed up and grew silent he smiled sadly "No, my parents just aren't around" he said in a sad tone Miyato gasped shocked "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" Miyato said apologeticly "It's alright I'm not as touchy as I use to be about it" Kanata replied with a weak chuckle "Kanata-kun..." Miyato mumbled she saw the sad look in Kanata's eyes and started to grow sad herself she then noticed that Kanata had a lunchbox with prepared food in it she bit her lip a bit as she thought about asking him then she sighed "Kanata-kun? If your parents aren't around then who made that for you?" she asked slowly pointing at his lunch. Miyato saw a happy look come back into Kanata's eyes "My sister made it for me" he said with a smile "Your sister?" she asked "Is she your older sister?" Miyato asked Kanata looked up at Miyato with a happy expression on his face "No, she's my little sister she just started middleschool this year" he replied in a happy tone "Wow your little sister can cook like that!" Miyato said in amazment looking at Kanata's lunchbox "When I was in middleschool and tried cooking by myself I messed up complelty!" Miyato said with a gloomy face Kanata laughed a bit "Your little sisters amazing to be able to do something like that" Miyato said smiling "Yeah, she sure is that little sister of mine sure is something she taught herself how to cook so I have homecooked meals instead of eating just junk food" he said remembering how Miyabi worked so hard to learn how to cook just for him and how happy it made her when he tasted her food "You sound like you treasure her a whole lot more then the avearage brother should" Miyato said smiling ear to ear "Well, I am her big brother but also I'm her gaurdian I can't help but be proud about her" Kanata said then something in his head caused him to gasp slightly he covered his mouth he was so stupid that always happened when he talked about Miyabi he always say something he shouldn't have and what he had just said was one of those things he groaned under his breathe "Gaurdian?" he heard Miyato say in surprise "Damn" he mumbled under his breathe it was to late Miyato heard what he said he caved and uncovered his mouth "Yeah, when I turned 18 3 years ago I decided to become my sisters gaurdian so I could take care of her" Kanata explained with his sad tone coming back he sighed there's no way that Miyato would talk to him the same way as she was before "That's really amazing" Miyato said "I just felt like I wanted to be the one to protect and care for her" Kanata said his heart started to drop he felt like he might lose his only friend but not only that but he feared what happened when people learned the situation him and Miaybi were in would happen again. What would happen was when it was found out people would treat them differently teachers, and friends acted totally different once they learned about it which made Miyabi stop going to school for a while and also why she stopped making friends Kanata braced himself for the change in Miyato's way of talking to him but the he heard her say "I see you'r really amazing Kanata-kun" Miyato said Kanata looked at here in cofusion "What did you say?" he asked "I said your really amazing to not only are you a brother but to be a gaurdian at the same time is really something Kanata-kun" Miyato replied smiling the same way she had been before "Really" Kanata said surprised "Whats the matter Kanata-kun you sound surprised?" Miyato asked "It's just that usually when people find out about that they'd take pity on me and act all different" Kanata said with a rise in his voice "No way I'd never do something like that! I'd treat anyone the same way no matter what! " Miyato said with a serious tone Kanata started to tear up a bit but he held it back he slumped his head down and smiled "Thank you, your the first one to ever do that" Kanata said he then looked up at Miyato and gave the happiest smile ever Miyato smiled back at him and the two continued to talk Miyato talked with Kanata the same way she had beofre he told her about his job and how hard it was being both a brother and gaurdian and Miyato told him about her life growing up it was then after a while the bell rang for the end of lunch "Is it time already!?" Kanata exclaimed hearing the bell "Seems like it" Miyato said with a chuckle Kanata noticed he had been so foucused on talking that he didn't eat all his lunch he groaned "And my sister had fixed all my favorites too oh well, I'll eat the rest at work I guess" Kanata said closing his lunchbox and held it in is right hand he slowly got up from the table and streched his body then he felt his left hand hit something soft "What the?" he said then he turned around and saw that he had accedentily hit a guy in the face "Ah sorry about that!" Kanata apologized "Whats the big idea you brat!" the guy yelled in a gruff voice the guy was fairly tall with long red hair he had really defined muscles and his dark brown eyes almost looked black "I didn't mean anything by it! honest!" Kanata said "Grr, you little, no one gets away with hitting me in the face even if it was an accident!" the guy yelled cracking his knuckles Kanata tensed up expecting the guy to start swinging his fists the Miyato tapped his shoulder he turned and looked at Miyato she had a scared and serious lookon her face "Kanata-kun you don't wanna get into it why this guy!" she whispered in fear "What why this guy doesn't seem so scary" Kanata said confused "Oh, really tough guy?" the guy growled gritting his teeth stepping closer infornt of Kanata he looked at Kanata hard trying to intemidate him "Yeah, your nothing more than a big idiot" Kanata said with a grin not intemidated at all "IDIOT! NO ONE CALLS HARUE NANISHI AN IDIOT!!" the guy yelled loudly the people in the lunch room turned and looked towards them and silence filled the lunchroom "And you yell like an idiot too" Kanata bantered the guy gripped his fist tightly in anger "You little prick I'll give you 3 seconds to take that back and maybe I'll take it easy on you" the guy said angrily his eyes filled with rage "Oh my, did I hit a nerve?" Kanata said sarcasticly "You little" the guy said steamed "Kanata-kun what are you doing you don't know who your dealing with Nanaishi is a guy whos been in tons of fights! If you don't quit he'll destroy you!" Miyato yelled Kanata turned and looked at Miyato and smiled "So have I he should be more worried about me" Kanata said with confidence in his voice Miyato was silent she was amazed even with someone like Nanishi standing in front of him he wasn't scared "I should be worried about you? Ha don't make me laugh your nothing but a bug comapred to me" Nanishi laughed. "Oh come now even though you look like an idiot I didn't think you were" Kanata smiled "I at least thought that you could sense someone is stronger then you" Kanata said Nanishi's anger grew"There you go calling me an idiot again I hope you ready pal when I'm done with you you'll be calling yourself an idiot for messing with me!" Nanishi yelled Kanata just smiled with confidence Miyato could feal it coming off of Kanata "He seems like he's not backing down whats more is I can sense the confidence in his voice is he serious?" Miyato thought to herself looking at Kanata she couldn't belive the same guy that she had been talking to just a moment ago wasn't scared of Nanishi at all Miyato started to blush as she stared at Kanata thats when Nanishi swung his fist at Kanata who quickly duked down out of the way he sprang back up quickly and smiled Nanishi grew angrier he started swinging wildly and Kanata just avoided each swing "Is that all you got?" Kanata said while dodging Nanishi's punches "No! I still can do alot more stay still so I can hit you!" Nanishi said thorugh winded breathes "I see then I can keep this up too" Kanata smiled as he kept avoiding Nanishi's strikes then while Kanata was dodging the blows Nanishi swung and grazed his right hand in which he had his lunchbox with the lunch Miyabi made for him causing it to fall out his hand when Kanata noticed it fall from his hands he stopped moving all together "Oh no my lunch!" he said as he moved to grab it before it hit the floor thats when Nanishi noticed Kanata stopped moving and swung his fist and hit Kanata in the face and his lunchbox hit the ground its contents spilling onto the ground everyone expected Kanata to go down but he was still standing a mark was left on his face from Nanishi's blow hitting him but he wasn't looking at that at all he was more looking at his spilled lunchbox on the ground and Kanata stood silent "There now do you see ya' punk did that blow knock some sense into ya'" Nanishi laughed thats when he felt a huge force in his stomach area he groaned in pain and looked in suprise as he saw Kanata had just struck him in the gut hard Nanishi staggered back and fell to the ground he covered his mouth he felt like he was going to vomit but he held it down "You" Kanata said in a deep tone Nanishi looked at him and saw rage in Kanata's eyes which surprised him for a second "You bastard" Kanata said again walking foward in an angry manner he then raised his fist signing he was going to hit Nanishi again Nanishi flinched expecting a blow to the face he closed his eyes but then he didn't feel one he opened his eyes and saw Kanata just standing still with his fist raised in the air but he hadn't thrown a punch at all he then lowered his fist and breathed in deeply "Sorry, I kinda lost myself there" Kanata said apologeticly he then stooped down and picked up his lunchbox "And after all that time Miyabi must have put into it" he mumbled as he cleaned it off the floor he stood up again and looked at Nanishi "Look, I'm sorry I hit you so hard" Kanata apolgized again Nanishi looked at Kanata confused why was he apologizing then Kanata walked closer to him and offered his hand to Nanishi "Need some help" Kanata offered with a sorryful smile Nanishi groaned in annoyance and slapped Kanata's hand away and took his hand off his mouth "I don't need your help" Nanishi said getting up off the ground he winced in pain as his stomach area twinged in pain he grabbed it and it stung a bit "You might want to go to the nurse to see if your okay I'd be really ashamed of myself if it wound up you were hurt because of me" Kanata said "Yeah whatever I'm outta here" Nanishi said still holding his abdominal region "Ah,man I did it again I let it take control of me again" Kanata mumbled in a pissed off tone Nanishi then vanished from sight and the lunchroom was still silent and the students were all staring at Kanata that's when the pincibal walked into the lunchroom with another student at his side he spotted Kanata and walked towards him "Mr.Morihiro good to see you once again" the princibal said with a smile "You to sir" Kanata answered "I was told that a fight had broken out between two students do you know anything about that?" the princibal asked in a serious tone Kanata hung his head in shame he sighed and looked at the princibal "Yes sir I do" he said the princibal stood silent Kanata knew there was no reason to try and lie about it "It was me I got into it with another student" Kanata said "Oh, I see with who?" the princibal asked "A guy named Harue Nansihi" Kanata replied "I see so what happened?" the princibal asked Kanata gulped hard "I wasn't really going to fight him I was merely avoiding his blows until he grew tired but then I.." Kanata stammered a bit "You what Mr.Morhirio?" the princibal asked "Well, I struck him in the stomach sir and I was going to hit him again but I came to my senses before I did" Kanata said "I see? and did by chance did he hit you Mr.Morhiro?" the princibal asked "Yes sir he hit me on my left cheek" Kanata said pointing to his bruised face the princibal looked at where Kanata was poiting "I see, now Mr.Morihiro this school has a big unacceptance for fighting amognst stundents" the princbal said Kanata tensed as he waited for what the princibal was going to say "Although, it can't be said that what happened here was a fight is sound like Mr.Harue struck first" the princibal said Kanata looked at him in surprise "What are you saying sir?" he asked "Well, sounds like self-defense to me so you shouldn't be punished for defending yourself" the princibal explained "Re..really sir" Kanata said flabbergasted "Yes, but let me warn you if it happens again and it's not self-defense you will be in trouble" the princibal said "Yes sir" Kanata said. "Good, now if you excuse me Mr.Morihiro I belive my workhere is done" the princibal said he looked at the other students in the lunchroom "Now, the bell rang for the end of lunch i suggest you lot get to class before your late" he said and the students took no time and started walking out the lunchroom "You too Mr.Morihiro, and you Ms.Nobuo" he said looking at Kanata then Miyato "Yes sir" Miyato said and she quickly got up and put her tray away and she returned to Kanata "Let's go Kanata-kun" she said looking at him "Yeah, lets go" Kanata said as he and Miyato started walking back to class and the exited the lunch room as did the princibal. Kanata and Miyato rushed down the halls to get back to there class they seperated at the halfway down the hall and Miyato gave a small wave of goodbye Kanata just smiled at her and rushed to the stairs he quickly climbed them and got into his class he sat at his desk and put his lunchbox away thats when the events that happened earlier flashed in his head "Ah man, I really cut it close there" he sighed normally Kanata could keep a lid on his anger but somehow he lost it breifly "If I had even been any more angrier I probably would have hurt him real bad" Kanata mumbled depressed "And to top it all off the lunch I was gonna save for work is ruined now what will I eat" Kanata said he placed his hand on his faced he then winced in pain and his cheek stung a bit "Ahg, man that hurts he really got me good" Kanata said rubbing his hurting cheek then he overheard the other people in his class talking he heard his name being mentioned then he decided to listen out of earshot "Hey, isn't that him?" said a male voice "Yeah, thats him the one that got into it with Nanishi" said a female voice "Did you see what he did to him?" came a second male voice "Yeah, he hit him really hard in the stomach, almost made him throw up!" said the first male voice "Looks like Nanishi finally met his match hu?" said the second male voice snickering "You know when I first saw him I thought he was a softy but, after that" said the female voice. Kanata could feel eyes on him coming from all around him he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist thats when the talking stopped he stop to listen again but no one spoke it was like they were just staring at him "Agh, man I really did screw up" Kanata said to himself "Morihiro-san?" said a familiar voice Kanata looked and Morishi standing at the side of his desk "Morishi-kun? What's up?" Kanata asked surprised "Uhm, are you alright Morihiro-san?" he asked "Hu? Yeah, I have a slight pain in my cheek but other than that I'm fine" Kanata replied "Uhm, Were you scared at all?" Moirishi asked "Scared? scared of what?" Kanata asked confused "Uhm, of Nanishi-san, Were you scared of him?" Morishi asked again "Hu? Nanishi? Not really" Kanata answered blantantly "H..how come I mean I'd be scared to death if he were angry at me!" Morishi exclamied in shock "You see I've dealt with people like him before so I'm not really all that scared of people like him" Kanata said "Morihiro-san, are you a deliquint or something?" Morishi asked shakingly "Hu? No way my sister would kill me if I was!" Kanata shouted "Then how were you able to fight like that?"Morishi asked Kanata grew quiet "Well, you see I use to be picked on alot when I was in middleschool and I got into fights alot and got beat up so in order to protect myself I learned how to fight" Kanata explained he also learned in order to protect Miyabi "Someone like you was picked on?" Morishi asked "Yeah, it was pretty bad for the most part but, after I moved from that town and left that school I never had to deal with it again" Kanata said "Wow, and I thought only weaklings like me got picked on" Morishi said sadly "Don't worry Morishi-kun if someones picking on you just call for me I'll come running to help you!"Kanata said with a smile "Wha..What really?" Morishi said surprised "Yeah? You don't believe I would?" Kanata asked. "Hu? What?! No! I belive you Morihiro-san! but, why would you help me?" Morishi asked "Well,cause were friends right?" Kanata asked "Friends? when did me and you become friends?" Morishi asked surprised "Ever since you talked to me earlier, and because of right now" Kanata answered "Right now?" Morishi aske confused "Yeah, your the only one who came over and talked to me so,that makes me see you as a friend" Kanata said smiling happily "Re..really?" Morishi asked still surprised Kanata just nodded a yes and Morishi smiled and Kanata felt all the eyes on him disappear and he smiled happily the teacher then walked in and told everyone to sit down Morishi said hid goodbyes to Kanata and went back to his desk and Kanata just sat their happy as could be and class started up again. After several more hours of learning the bell rang for the end of class and everyone got up and started exiting the classroom Morishi came over to Kanata's desk and talked with him a bit more then Kanata heard a familair voice call his name "Kanata-kun!" called the voice Kanata looked and in the doorway stood Miyato smiling and waving at him "Oh,hey Miyato-san what do you want?"Kanata asked "I was wondering if you wanted to walk home together?" Miyato asked then she noticed Morishi "Hey, your the kid I talked to at lunch aren't you?" Miyato asked "Ye..Yes I am, my name Morishi Kantanaka" Morishi said flustered "Oh, I'm Miyato Nobuo, Thank you for earlier" Miyato said walking into the classroom "N..No your welcome I was happy to help" Morishi said blushing a bit "Do you know Kanata-kun?" she asked "Hu?no I don't I'm-" "He's a friend I made just a while ago" Kanata said Morishi smiled "Yeah, thats it I'm a friend" Morishi said "Oh, well so am I nice to meet you Morishi-kun" Miyato said smiling "L..Likewise" Morishi said blushing harder "So do the two of you want to walk home together?" Miyato asked "Uhm, sure If you want to Morihiro-san" Morishi asked looking at Kanata "Sorry guys, Can't I got to go meet up with my sister at her school and then I have to head to work" Kanata said with a sigh "Oh, really?" Miyato said dissapointed "But, I can walk out with you if thats okay?" Kanata said "Sure, why not"Miyato said. "Alright, come on Morishi"Kanata said getting up from his desk "Su..sure alright" Morishi said and the three walked out the classroom together they talked as they walked down the hall to the enterance "So,you have a sister Morhiro-san?" Morishi asked "Yeah, oh, that's right I never told anyone in class I did didn't I" Kanata said chuckling "So is she your big sister?" Morishi asked "Hu? No, she's my little sister" Kanata answered "Your little sister?! What school does she go to?" Morishi asked "I'm also curious about that you told me about her but, you never told me what school she goes to" Miyato asked "Oh, really I thought I did" Kanata said scratching his head "She goes to the middle school" Kanata said "You mean the middleschool right next to us?" Miyato said "Yeah, its so I wouldn't have to walk so far to meet her and risk being late for work" Kanata said "That seems really convient" Morishi said "Yeah,it really is" Kanata said the three of them laughed and kept walking and talking with each other when they got close to the enterance the three of them each found their locker and switched their shoes and the meet up and continued their talked and walked outside the passed the enterance gate and talked a while longer "Alright then Kanata-kun see you later!" Miyato said "Bye,Morihiro-san" Morishi said  "Yeah, see you tommorow you guys" Kanata said and the waved goodbye to each other and Morishi and Miyato walked off together Kanata smiled "Well, time to wait for Miyabi" he said to himself and he stood and waited in silence thoughts and flashes of what happened at school swirled in his head and he smiled "I hope Miyabi made at least one friend" Kanata said hopeful then after a bit of waiting he noticed Miyabi coming towards him a smile on her face "She looks happy" Kanata said seeing the big smile on his sisters face "Hey, Miyabi! Over here!" Kanata called to his sister. Miyabi looked at him and smiled brighter "Onii-chan!" Miyabi exclaimed and she rushed towards him excitedly she jumped and hugged him tightly "Woah! Hey what's gotten into you Miyabi you seem really happy did something good happen at school?" Kanata asked smiling as he hugged his sister back happy at how happy she was "Oh, yes onii-chan something good did happen!" Miyabi said looking up at her brother blushing in happiness "Well, what happened? tell you big brother why your so happy?" Kanata asked "Onii-chan I did what I promised you I would I was able to make a friend today!" Miyabi said excitedly "Re..really! Miyabi thats great! You made a friend!" Kanata said just as excited "Mhhm! And she's a girl just like me!" Miyabi said growing more excited the more she spoke "You made friends with another girl! thats great Miyabi!" Kanata said smiling "Are you happy onii-chan that I made a friend!?" Miyabi asked "Yes, I am as you big brother & gaurdian I could not be more happier to hear that!" Kanata said starting to up but he held back the tears he was just so happy that his little sister who didn't even try to make friends finally had one Kanata smiled all over himself the two siblings laughed in happines and then later on the began walking home "So, because you kept your promise to me how about the next time I get payed I'll treat you to something!" Kanata asked smiling "Really onii-chan?!" Miyabi said happily "Yep, whatevere you want!" Kanata said Miyabi just smiled and blushed happily she nodded a big yes and Kanata smiled back "Alright then I'll take that as a yes!" Kanata said smiling twice as much and the siblings made their way home wondering what the next day of school would bring them. [END]
