All in all the skill was good, and it synergize well with his dimensional shop , having access to all kinds of equipment available for purchase will help him improve his skill fast, and thinking of all the skills he might get on top of this one left him feel like he have a good chance at excelling in this world.

Speaking of equipment, he mentally focused on his spear ,but rather that thinking about the skill he just thought about having all his equipment information show up .

So the next best course of action was to set up the camp and prepare for the night. But first he need some dry wood to set up a fire . It wasn’t hard to set up the tent so it was done fast , he sat the bed roll on the ground and gave it a few pats, nodding to him self he left the tent and approached the fire.

Willing the screen away, Andy quickly stood on his feet and summoned his spear, he walked away from his camp, he knew there was no running away and he have to fight, but at least he hoped the fight won't ruin his camp. the alpha let a low, threatening growl, Andy felt the thing eyeing him, assessing whether he was a prey or not, it gave him some time to study the wolf, it seems as if the blood patches on his fur got a bit bigger , and its right eye completely ruined, Andy bit his lip , even if the wolf seems to be heavily injured , he never had any fighting experience, the only reason he didn’t run away is that he knew that is no outrunning this monster, injured or not.

But Andy inner monologue was cut off by the wolf walking toward him, it seems that the alpha decided that he was good enough to be a snack, it moved cautiously, and slowly , studying Andy who was clutching his weapon nervously, he was looking for an opening, but the alpha didn’t give him a chance and lunged forward , sharp teeth snapped where andy head was , but he managed to dodge to the Right, and thrusted his spear weakly, barely grazing the wolf fur but it bought him some space when the wolf took a step back, the two of them started circling each other, andy threw a few japs at the alpha , but he didn’t manage to land a hit, the wolf lunged again , but instead of slipping right andy dodged to the left , exactly into its blind spot, and landed a solid hit to its hind leg , the wolf let a pained yelp, blindly trying to bite the attacker , but andy was already a few steps back, a maniac smile on his face, the is a battle of attrition and he was winning, the injured monster was loosing blood fast, it was getting slower and weaker, and the last attack made it even slower.

Andy had a simple plan. Do draw the fight as long as possible, weakening the wolf even farther before delivering a decisive attack, his body coursing with adrenalin a long dormant instincts took over , instincts hampered by the peaceful life he had on earth, the instincts of a predator. It took a while before Andy got the openings he was looking for, 5 minutes of dancing around his opponent, dodging claw and teeth, managed to take the flow of the fight to himself. The wolf attacks became predictable, seizing the opening. He feigned an attack to the front, diverting the wolf's attention, then swiftly aimed for the exposed flank. The spear, guided by newfound strength, penetrated deep into the dire wolf's side. A pained howl echoed through the woods as the wolf crumpled to the forest floor, andy didn’t leave any thing to chance and follow by attacking the fallen alpha throat, the monster let a gurgling sound, eyes growing glassy the wolf tried to stand one last time then fell down still as status.

Panting, Andy stood over the alpha dire wolf corpse, relishing his victory, he just fell down to the floor, with the adrenalin draining from his system, all the mental and physical exhaustion caught up to him, and before unconsciousness claimed him there was a single massage that floated in his vision.
