Arc 1 (Conception): (2) Origin of the world
Day-2
As we were returning home, I looked in the sky and show the mild red morning pair of suns playing hide and see in the clouds. The blue sky was like a large canvas painted with white and pink clouds with two red balls was asking all the mortals to prise it for the ethereal beauty it possessed now. This time, all the early birds chirping and animals cry was adding to this beautiful morning's charm.
As soon as we reached our home, Rena was waiting for us with breakfast. After having breakfast, I asked Pata, "Pata, will I be joining you today for farms?"
"Surely, if you feel okay. then feel free to join." (Pata)

So, now I was following Pata in the opposite direction we took earlier for the bathhouse. While the bathhouse is at the village center, all the farms are outside of Merata village. It might be a chance that our house is also on the very outer side of the village's housing. Therefore, it was not long before our departure from home that plants and trees were much more frequent and full of the wild variety. The first thing we notice are ranches rearing many animals. We do not own any animal ranch, but other better-off and wealthy farmer families in the village have and rear sheep, goats, chicken, etc.
When we finally reached our farms, it was situated at the very other ends of all farm distribution, very close to the forest. Here is also a well to water the farm fields for several farms of villagers. This well may provide water to make up for any lack of water from the rain to farms, but it is not enough to thoroughly dampen all fields without any rainfall. So, the primary source of water for farms is still seasonal rain.
We grow crops like paddy, wheat, vegetables like tomato, onion, potato, etc. and herb green-misty grass on our farm. My father is watering the farms these days, so the first thing father has to do was attach bulls with rope to pull water from the well and start watering fields with rice, vegetables, and green-misty grass. This can take more than ten days. When Pata rest, I will guide bulls in pulling the water for watering of fields from the well.
In the afternoon, my mother, Rena, came with lunch for us. We had a lovely family lunch on the farms under a large green tree. After lunch, when Pata and I were resting, she gossiped about how many villagers had come to ask about my health recently. Soon after, she left for home with fresh vegetables and firewoods, and we continued our work here.
In the evening, Pata took me to a nearby forest area, and he showed me how to set-up traps for catching rabbits or small animals. But looks like it was not our lucky day today, as we did not get anything. So, placing two more new traps and left the place. Pata released the bulls from the rope, and we all moved for home. Then fastening bulls in our cowshed. Pata moved out of the house in the village and asked me to follow. I could not help but ask Pata, "Where are we going now?"
"I have seen today that you are now more or less fine. So, we need to get our adventure cards/ A-cards. For this, I am taking you to talk to Tuner. You might know him as the adventure guild staff of our village. I have also work for him sometimes as an extra cart driver and helper. He is a nice guy and will answer many things you might be curious about, but even I might not know." (Pata)
After such a scholarly introduction, I could not wait to meet this Tuner. He has to be knowledgeable about this world. But then again, few things picked my attention. Therefore, I promptly asked him, "We are not adventurers but farmers. What use do we have for A-cards? Does Tuner issue these A-cards?"
"So, you really do not remember things from before the accident. Looks like your mother was right, you are no longer the same Kola." (Pata)
after saying so, suddenly, Pata looked aged and tired. I might have been a big shocker to him now. But I do not remember what I was like in the past and how did I behave. Not even I can convince her to let you visit the city with only me now. Our only way out is to move with Tuner when he goes for his regular visit to the Gazina city."
I could not help but has to agree with the arguments of Pata on this. Tuner was my only hope if I want to visit other places now without antagonizing my mother. So, I quietly followed him to the Tuner's place.

At Tuner's home, we entered the place after Tuner opened the door. At this time, Tuner was drinking alcohol alone in the hall. He offered the drink to Pata, but he rejected it and directly talked about our visit's primary reason.

"Tuner, Kola, and I would like to join you on your next journey for the city." (Pata)
Tuner replied like he was anticipating this for long, "So, finally, both of you have decided to get your A-card. Good, I will go to Gazina City on the fifth day from now, be prepared. Also, How are you, Kola? Pata was telling me that now you ask many questions." (Tuner)
It looks like Pata is really familiar with Tuner, by the looks of the way they talked and expected their talks. Plus, after the beautiful introduction, Pata has given me about him. My anticipation also increased when Tuner has given me a green signal to ask many things about this world.
"um...Tuner, can you tell me more about this world?"
"Oh... So, the Boy is really becoming curious. It is quite rare for anyone from this village to become curious about the world outside. Since I do not have anything to do, I can entertain a few of your questions. what do you want to know about this world." (Tuner)

"How big is this world?"
So, Tuner started with his long story as, "This is a big question you have asked. Neither I, myself, has visited all the world nor anyone I know of has visited this whole world. Let alone this world, even this continent is so big that I have not visited it whole. But I know few things like this world has nine continents, namely Main, Divine, Benti, Austi, Insa, Tifa, Indus, Ganges, and Nandi, in their decreasing order of size. We live on the Indus continent, and you might already know this that the Boish Kingdom is on it and a medium-size Kingdom. I even heard some rumors' like the continent's size increases, so does the upper limit's capacity to allow high-level living beings on it. If someone higher-level than the capacity continent lives on it. His power will be suppressed according to the power level. The Indus continent also has a level limit. See how I have to deviate from the initial topic. It looks like isolation to this village, and lack of curiosity has starved me for these big talks. hahaha" (Tuner)
I realized the way he answered the question that I could ask questions freely to Tuner. I tried to be a little bold and asked, "Does our world really has any God?"
Tuner shushed me to stop. As soon as I finished these questions, the seriousness on his face told me that I have asked something I should not. And soon came the scolding from him, "Do you want to die or get everyone you care killed. You are questioning God as if you do not believe in him. It looks like Pata was not joking when he was telling about your loss of all memory about anything." (Tuner)
Now the room was quiet, I did not say anything more, and Tuner was contemplating something. But soon he started to talk again after collecting himself.
"Listen, young man, if you love your life and care about the people you love. Then never question God or Goddess in front of anyone. There are more God-Goddess fanatic people in this world than you can imagine. If any of them got to know what you asked, then they would burn or crucify you and your loved ones with enough zeal to scare you to be shitless. Religion can be found everywhere in this world. If you want to really look for the proof for God-Goddess's existence, then you will see it in a few days. On your 18th birthday, when you get divine mercy skills yourself." (Tuner)
"What are these divine mercy skills?"
"There may be some other reason behind it. But, you need to know of only one explanation, which is told by the church of God Currion, God of Light, and Healing. That is at the start, this world was empty. The First God of Space, Time and Creation or High God or Supreme existence was the first existence manifested by this world, itself. He felt lonely and created space, time, and things in the whole world. But this did not help his loneliness, so he created Goddess of Plants and Woods. She populated the world, made by high God with her creation, tree, plant, and grasses life."(Tuner)
Then Tuner stopped and went to the other room. He comes out with a wine bottle and two glasses.
"All this talking has made my throat dry. Do you want some wine?" (Tuner)
"No. I am fine. I just need water."
"Then help yourself with water." and then Tuner pointed me to a pot of water. After I came with a water glass and sat on my chair, Tuner continued with the story.
"But soon both High-God and High-Goddess realized that their plant and world were still too quiet only has many colors, so lost its novelty soon. Therefore, they both created new two Gods and four Goddesses to help with this problem, namely, God of Light and Healing, God of Dark and Death, Goddess of Earth, Goddess of Fire, Goddess of Wind, and Goddess of Water and Lightning. These goddesses filled the world with their elements. Their powers lead to the emergence of all the animals, demi-humans, and monsters. While the God of light and Healing created Human and God of Dark and Death created the demons."
Tuner again stops and takes a few sips of wine. I also finish my glass of water.
"As soon as these beings come in to exist in this world. A global war started were all these sentinels being created, fighting with each other for dominance. Also, these all these new God and Goddesses were taking sides by giving their chosen individual creations power to help the faction they favor fight their enemy factions. This created a perilously dangerous situation. Everyone was fighting.
It is said that a Long time ago, at the formation of this world, there was only one continent and one big ocean. Hence, the upper limit for the level up was very high, and leveling was easy too. This favoritism created powerful heroes in this world where these opposite factions were at war, led to an ultimate fight for supremacy at the time. This war was so devastating that the single continent was broken in multiple pieces, nine large new continents, and many smaller island pieces.
Hence, this event even forced the High-God and High-Goddess to action. Realizing that these new gods are even putting this whole world into a dangerous situation of annihilation. They called all the new Gods and Goddesses to a meeting for a discussion. So, this kind of world-threatening situation does not occur again. Creation God also set some rule for them to follow in the future. These rules were,
1. From now on, No God-Goddess is allowed to give power to any human/Devil/Demi-Human before age 18, and only plants and animals/monsters are permitted to have skills as ability since birth.
2. Level-0 level and Skill take 1 and 10 small units of blessings to raise to the next level, respectively. Further, each level up will need ten times more experience than the previous level.
3. Only God-Goddess can give magical skills as divine mercy skills. Other Physical Skills can be learned with practice."
Realizing how late it was not, Tuner stopped and reminded me to go home, as I was totally absorbed into the story.
"Oh! Boy, it is quite late. Don't you have to go home before dinner?" (Tuner)
"Ops! I nearly forget it. See you tomorrow, Tuner. Good Night!"
