In the Lands of the Old Dales in the Kingdom of Coralis people live comfortably and happily. It's a rich land, lush and at the crossing point of two trade routes. They're not great trade routes like those that bring silk, spices, fine china or jewels. Still, it is one of the routes that brings the Salt extracted from the Sea to the Kingdoms of the high mountains and iron into the lowlands. Then there's the good wood ideal for furniture coming from the east. Yes, Coralis is a good place to live for the ancient slave race that has lost its masters. Going to most other race's knees at their tallest they do not need much space and thus their underground homes cannot be conquered easily by the tall races. Extremely long lived and not very fertile their children are cherished excessively.Yes, truly, for them, everything is perfect.Unfortunately the little reborn girl among them, once a noble of a human Kingdom in her past life, is anything but satisfied.
