In Pardegan life is cruel, moreso than other worlds. During the year 2048, humanity was propelled to new heights when the genius scientist named Mourne Servision revealed to the world his research. He discovered interdimensional travel and the first thing he found, is a realm famous in many myths and legends, hell. It was looking bright for Mourne, as his research was going splendidly, but messing with Hell was not a safe thing to do and everything eventually went south. Hell realized it was being studied by humans and decided to let loose, releasing its legions of demons and devils, overwhelming the first facility located in one of the major cities of humanity. The city, called Drakken, was immediately run over as literal hundreds of thousands of fiends ravage the land, humanity was not prepared for this attack, and the casualties were millions.
Humanity immediately set to counterattack, before discovering hell, humanity was already extremely powerful, utilizing magical knowledge combined with technology gave rise to an unstoppable race, the demons were pushed back and the great city Drakken was now quarantined and dubbed the city of demons. But as time passed, humanity needed to find more knowledge about this hellish dimension or else another situation like that could occur.
