Long before humanity being created by the god, Earth is a home for unknown creatures with many names. These creatures live without any ethics and moral value, they only follow their instincts as the driven factor for them. Once humans start to appear on Earth, this creature starts to live in mountains, seas & forests. Monster, Oni, Yokai, Beast, and any other name human called this creature with but they all come from the same origin which is Demon. Their goal, just to eat more and more humans. Due to changing factors in modern times, the demon has come up with the idea of how to hunt humans & by assimilating themselves with human technology.

They will try to make humans obsessed with the game then slowly insert despair into a human by making their gaming experience horrible and suffer in the game. Once a human has accumulated a certain point of negative energy, this monster will appear then killed the human. Most of the victims are ended in die but there are few escapes with a major injury such as permanent disabling of their bodies part.

Nona: Right now our company in need of those people with good talent in the game to counter this problem.

Nona: I know it not an easy decision to be made but I shall give you 1 day to think about it.

Nona guide Ren toward the lobby and send Ren of from the office. Inside Ren brain, he still cannot believe what just happened to him. For him, all the stories that being told are part of their imagination. Walking toward his home, Ren looks at his surroundings and saw many people now busy with their gaming devices & enjoy their free time. After few hours of walking, he reaches the front door of his house. The moment Ren opens up the door, he being great by both of his parents with a cake. They buy them so they can celebrate the day where their son got the first job. Don't know how to react, Ren just smiles and his mother asks him to slice the cake and eat in the living area. Ren thought to refuse the job offer not only because he doesn't believe the story but also if it true that means his life is in danger.

Later at night, in Ren's house

While Ren watching the tv show, he saw his father walking around and seat on the dining chair. His father holding a smartphone and it seems he doing something fun because he doesn't even answer when Ren great him. Thinking his father is doing his job, Ren doesn't see anything unnatural with that. The show has ended and it's already midnight, Ren planning to sleep early tonight but when he walked toward his room, Ren realizes his father still with the phone. Seeing this as something, Ren slowly walks behind his father and takes a peek at what is on the phone that keeps his father occupied all this time. It seems his father plays a horse racing mobile game with his phone. Ren tries to get his father's attention but he is ignored by his father all that time. Feel something wrong with his father Ren goes to his mother who is sleep right now.

Ren: Mom, wake up there is something wrong with dad.

Ren shout from outside his parent's room, his mother came out then Ren start to explain what just happen. His mother starts, to tell the truth, it seems it not the only time his father acting such away. Ren mother also told her son that it all begins a month ago when his father starts playing those racing games. At the first, his father behavior just like a normal person then slowly becomes too obsessed with the game. There is a time when his father acting like an undead without a brain while staring at his phone. Upon hearing his mother's story, Ren recalls the story during the interview session. Ren assumes his father has become the victim of the unknown creature. He and his mother keep an eye on his father then suddenly his father returns to normal after 4 hours of playing the game. Ren father acting like nothing happen then goes to sleep.

His mother cries in silence and Ren is there to comfort his mother. Ren believes the company knows what is happening to his father. Ren plans to accept the company offer if they can help him with his father's weird behavior.

The next day,

The clock showed 8 am, Ren departure early today to find the truth about his father. Ren reaches the office around 30 minutes later on then goes straight to the reception area. Ren asks the receptionist to let Nona know that he has come & to accept the job offer. After one call away, a woman wearing a blue shirt & black shoes came to the area. She is Nona & she greets Ren along the way. To avoid any unnecessary confusion, she brings Ren to one of the meeting rooms. Ren states his condition to be working in the company, he also told Nona what happen to his father. Nona listens then gives Ren a contract paper to sign. She once again reminds him, once the contract is signed, there is no turning back from that point.

Ren: I don't know what kind of crazy task I will be handling but if it can save my family, I will gladly offer my life for it.

Ren signs the contract, upon sign the contract the paper turn to ash. Then on his left arm appear a symbol, the same symbol as the company logo. Nona explain the logo is the symbol that Ren now one of the team. Nona stands and gives Ren a signal to follow her, Nona explains that Ren dad might become the prey for the demon. She also mentions that usually, the demon will wait until it preys mature before being eaten. Now, Ren still has time to save his father but he needs to learn how to do that.

Nona: Okay, the way to save your father is by killing the demon before it kills your father, but normal people like us can never kill the demon. So we need special equipment to do that.

Ren: Do I need to arms myself with a holy sword or some kind of holy enchantment?
