"My dear Gwen,
It feels like a life time since I last read your letter. I heard about the famine that hit Camelot. Are you and your dad alright? I heard it was caused by magic and was solved but that people still died. I hope you are doing well. To answer your inquiry of your last letter. I am currently settled in King Caerleon and Queen Annis kingdom for a few days. It’s been interesting seeing how different the place is from Camelot. Apparently, magic isn't completely outlawed here. Though it’s still illegal. The punishment isn't death only banishment. Anyway, my dear I actually had something to talk to you about. Upon my travels I came across a man who I think you may know. He looks very similar to you and goes by the name of Evalyn. I talked to him a bit and asked him if he knew you, but he claimed up. Said that was a past he wishes not to dwell on. He seemed almost sad as he said this. Any way I look forward to your next letter.
Yours forever Lancelot."

"Lance my sweet knight,
It’s so good to hear from you. So much has happened in the past few days. Thankfully though both my dad and I are still in one piece. It was scary though. My dad seemed almost dead by the time the curse was lifted. Merlin tells me it was the result of the prince killing a unicorn, but after taking a series of tests from a sorcerer the famine was lifted. I admit I wasn't sure if we would make it. I was already planning for my dad’s funeral when we got word that the water was back, and the grain was growing better than ever. I nearly cried in joy when my dad was able to sit up in bed longer than a few minutes. It was a miracle, but he is alive and doing better than ever. Though recently he has been acting a little off. Disappearing at odd hours of the night. He said he recently got work from someone and that they are just running him a little hard. I don't know though lance. Something just doesn't feel right about that man. I saw my dad talking to his employer the other night and i have to saw. Just looking at him makes my skin crawl, but my dad is convinced he is a good man. I'm worried lance. I am afraid this man might just be my dad’s down fall. As for Evalyn. Yes, he is my brother, but he left many years ago after a huge row between my dad and him. He hasn't written or been back since. So as far as I am concerned, he can go rot in a hole for all I care. Anyway, my knight I await your response with bated breath.

"Gwen thank you for your letter,
It brought me so much joy to read it while tucked up by the fire. I am not sure about that man your dad is working for. It sounds like you should be careful. You always have been a great judge of character so if he makes you uneasy. Than I would definitely keep an eye on him. Maybe Merlin can help you. She might be able to fish around and find out more about this man. As for your brother I am sorry to hear that he has caused you so much pain. I can tell it’s a sore subject for you, so I won't bring it up again. That being said I will say that Evalyn doesn't strike me as that bad a man. I am sure he regrets leaving that day. He might be worried that he won't be accepted back. Have you tried reaching out to him? After all, when all is said and done, he is still your brother. Maybe he just needs a push in the right direction. Whatever you decide to do I know it will be what you believe to be right. You have such a sweet and gentle soul my dear. I look forward to the day when I can hold you in my arms again.
Yours always Lance."
