The painting

The painting

The art gallery hummed with hushed whispers and the soft shuffle of footsteps. Sunlight streamed through towering windows, casting a warm glow on the polished floors and the masterpieces that adorned the walls. Yet, amid the quiet admiration, one figure stood motionless before a painting—a man in a long, dark coat, his emerald-green eyes locked onto the canvas with an intensity that unsettled those around him. Hours passed, but he remained rooted, his presence heavy with sorrow and an unspoken fury.

People kept their distance, sensing the invisible weight of grief that clung to him. But then, another figure approached—a man with dark blue hair, his gaze calm yet knowing. Unlike the others, he did not hesitate.

Luka, the man with dark blue hair and piercing blue eyes,  broke the silence, his voice low and strained. “This painting… she made it. It really reminds me of her. I want to take it away...” His fingers twitched as if tempted to reach out, to grasp something long gone.

Blake ,the man in the coat with golden hair and eyes like emerald, watching him carefully, "it really does remind me of her, the colour in the painting are like her smile so warm ,i would do anything to get her back... anything" he said in a trembling voice

Luka exhaled slowly, his voice barely above a whisper. “there is a way...but it's not easy and to make it work we will have to work as a team. ”

Blake looked at luka with a gleam of hope in his eyes. "If that's what it takes, I will do it" he said firmly

A silence settled between them, thick with ghosts of the past—unspoken, unseen, but never truly gone.
