CHAPTER 6.
Suu.
Suu readied herself in anticipation of violence. She didn't know what William had said, or how he was able to speak their strange language so easily, but from the look on the guards faces, she already guessed that whatever came out of the idiot's mouth only made things worse.
She had been in enough battles to read the scene. The fool said something stupid and the incredulous look on the ugly faces of the guards made it clear that they were not impressed with his words, no matter how polite they might have sounded.
Regardless, the guards did not consider either of them a threat, the one on the left while still laughing, stepped forward to swat William aside in a casual large fisted backhand.
Suu didn't still understand this strange power that everyone here seemed to have, but based on the speed and force of the approaching arm, someone was about to finish what she'd started earlier.
But the blow never reached him.
She felt chips of stone cut her legs and a slight rush of air brushed past her.
One minute the orc was lazily swinging his fist, the next, he was lying on the ground, grunting and clutching this missing arm.
William had moved so fast that his body blurred past her, the force with which he propelled himself left a sharp divot in the ground, spraying the chips of stone that cut her legs
Suu turned her gaze to the other half-orc, expecting him to attack in retaliation, but he was already on his knees, William's comparatively smaller fingers wrapped around his neck.
Suu couldn't understand how William could suppress a being so massive with only his physical strength alone. She could see his fingers digging into the monster's throat, thick dark red blood pulsing around his fingers.
The half-orc was on his knees, slamming his massive fists on William's arms in futility, he might as well have been hitting a thick band of iron. William tightened his grip and singlehandedly lifted the beast off the ground, watching impassively as the creature slowly bled to death.
When at last it stopped moving, with that cold vacant look on his face, he dispassionately flung the massive corpse where the other beast was lying in a large pool of its own blood.
"You killed them," Suu said in surprising consternation, trying to suppress the mounting horror in her chest. The casual ease with which he eliminated the two monsters left her almost speechless. "I thought you said you needed them for your experiment"

William shrugged, "I do, don't worry about these guys, they may look dead, but trust me, they're already healing, might take a while for them to recover. Unless they start glowing, then I may need to reassess my estimates. Let's head further in, I still require more test subjects.
Suu shuddered slightly at the glee in his eyes. She did not know what had happened to him since they had first been captured or what he had suffered, but there was a growing madness in this man.
Madness melded with near overwhelming power.
How did she ever think she had a chance putting him down?
She hurried to catch up to William, who had already stepped further into the mine area.
More half-orc and some human guards spilled out of the compound surrounding the mine entrance, weapons raised in anticipation of violence.
William looked to his side and picked up a rusty and all but blunt pickaxe and hefted it in one hand like it weighed nothing.
Turning to the assembling guards, he blurred towards them and laid into their ranks.
Within a few minutes, he'd damaged some of the orcs until they passed out from blood loss and knocked out some of the human guards.
Although only William was finally left standing, he wasn't left unscathed. There are two blades sticking out of his left thighs and his right leg. There was also a thick broken spear sticking out of his stomach.
William nearly stumbled, swaying slightly as he pulled the blades from his body.
Suu watched as the blood pumping out of him slowed, and then stopped. She watched wide eyed as he began to visibly heal before her eyes. There was no look of pain on his face, even as the holes in his body slowly closed. There was an empty look on his face, like he was beyond pain or any other emotion.
A few minutes later, all his wounds were fully healed, his face lost a bit of that blank look and he began to breathe deeply. Suu wondered how she ever thought a rusty knife would do the trick
Suddenly a very beautiful busty woman, dressed in a revealing getup blurred right in front of William.
[Trigram sect hammerfist].
The next thing Suu saw was William being pushed backwards, his left wrist a pulped mess, his face twisted in a rictus of pain.
The woman's fist was still stretched out, evidence of the punch she supposedly threw at William.
Because Suu didn't see the attack or how the woman was able to move so fast. All she'd heard was the name of the attack that she roared just before her attack.
In fact, it was more accurate that she felt it. Even though the woman spoke in that strange language that the natives used, she still somehow understood the meaning and purpose of the technique in her bones.
She could even feel the strange energy react to the woman's words.
Tall, lithe and extremely beautiful, the woman stood over a groaning William, who was bent on one knee holding his broken arm with his other hand.
The woman set herself in a battle pose as she watched William. Then she smiled at him, the full toothed smile of a predator to a prey.
"Hello Worm".
