Chapter 2 - New World, Same Name

I looked around as I felt warmth comfort me, everywhere was dark, and the only place that I could see was the deep black abyss of darkness. I tried moving or wiggling but something was restricting my movements, while normal people would scream and say who the hell was keeping me from moving I oddly felt comforted.

I sighed and closed my eyes, willing my body to go to sleep my mind entered the abyss of the dream realm.

I opened my eyes when I felt myself being pulled out after an unknown amount of time, as I entered this new world I grimaced, wailed, and cried in both joy and pain as I couldn’t handle the powerful burst of my senses overloading.

I narrowed my eyes when I looked at my parents, while my mother was looking at me lovingly like a any sane normal mother would, I could sense an clear impossible amount of love emanating from her.

It was my father who worried me.

Instead of looking at me like a proud father would, he looked at me greed, I could clearly see dollar signs in place of his eyes.

As I saw the facade my father put up as he congratulated my mother, I could see her eyes harden, no doubt something is going to happen.

She must’ve gotten the basic gist that father is most likely going to use me for some purpose...those that mean I had special birth circumstances? I don’t understand, unless my father was some type of high noble or something and my mom was like a replaceable wife it would make sense.

Actually from the way they were acting and the grandeur of my surroundings that case would be very plausible...and annoying.

If I was born as the son of a high noble then I most likely will be brought up the “nobles” way and in the end be sold off for higher connections, obviously my mother knows this and from the way her posture, gestures, and facial expressions all are, I am guessing she is either going to run away or something of the like.

I sighed and mentally blacked out while my mother breastfed me, after a few minutes of heavenly milk floating down my throat I went to sleep as she cradled me.

The only thing I could gain from the conversations they had was that my name is still Seth and thankfully I am a male, my last name is Alduin, and my mothers name is Leila Alduin.

I looked at the sleeping figure of my beautiful son, I knew that he is destined to do many and great things because of how long he was in my womb, for two long years he had slept in my womb.

Usually the pregnancy would last from two to three months, the longer it lasted the more potential the child had, and the longest ever was only 11 months, and that was the pregnancy of the hero who saved and united the world.

I looked at the fool who was planning on using my baby to heighten his connection, if it was for me I never would have even married him, sadly he had captured my little sister and had wanted my body as compensation, but the fool could not see me undo the slave seal during the birth of my child and that would be his undoing.

I shall wipe out this worthless estate and then go back towards the place where my original clan rested. The Alduin clan... while the fool could make me his wife and do away with me, I never allowed him to change my last name because the pride and honor of my clan is in it's name, and I shall always keep it, even if it means death.

Once the clan found out that I had escaped from the clutches of the fool they will attack him with our full force, which is comprised of at least a few thousand Divine Realm experts.

Obviously that is what you would get if you took away the younger princess of the third major empires situated on this continent, and then afterwards force the older princess to marry you.

I waited until the fool left, I gingerly kissed the forehead of my child and then picked him up, cradling him carefully, because he would not have an father to raise him as well I must give him the love of two parents, and that I shall.

With a swipe of my hand the seal that masked my power flew away, and the presence of a Heavenly Realm expert could be felt, as fast as sound itself I flew out the house and with another swipe of my hands the whole estate crumbled, sadly I had chose to teleport all of the beings in the house outwards, because my clan would probably kill me if I didn’t let them torture them.

Another swipe of my hand and I teleported towards the entrance to the Darklight Forest, the original home area of my clan. The reason for this is that the spiritual essence and mana were almost infinite and thick in the center of the forest where the house of the clan rested.

It was perfect for cultivation of both the average Magus and the average Maester. I exclaimed joyfully as the guards that patrol the forest saw me and almost at blinding speed appeared before me.

“Milady!” they both exclaimed joyfully as they knelt before me.

“Hello! I hope your families are doing well brothers, can you please take me towards the main house, it has sadly been years since I have been here.” I asked them.

“At once Milady!” said one of the guards as they motioned for me to follow them.

“Well...this is our new home...Seth…” I muttered as I followed the guards who running at an impossible speed.
