One press. Two presses. Three presses. Four presses… every press of a button made Corona think about his life. How much time is still left? He turns his eyes towards the clock that was on the wall right next to him. His office was generic and boring.
“Still 8 hours left” Corona said.
He took a deep breath. His eyes were tired. He started to press buttons that were on his keyboard. He was writing code. Corona was a game developer. Corona looked at the clock again.
“One minute has passed. Almost there I suppose” Corona said.
Then somebody knocked on his office door. Door opened and some old guy walked in. He had a fancy suit and his hair was almost all gone. Man walked next to Corona and he looked Corona right into his eyes.
“Why are you doing this to us?” Man asked.
“Do what?” Corona asked.
“You were supposed to finish the code by Monday. It’s Thursday now and it seems that the code is still not done.” Man said.
“Yeah sorry about that. I’ve been really tired lately and my cat died” Corona said.
“You are always tired! And you told us that you hate cats!” Man raised his voice.
“Oh yeah. I forgot” Corona said while making a sarcastic face.
“Kch. Just get it done” man said.
“Sure” Corona said and started to write code.
Man walked outside the room. Corona looked behind him. He looked at the clock again. Only two minutes have passed.
“Okay that’s it” Corona said and took some white pills from his pocket.
He had a coffee machine in his office. There was a little bit of coffee left. Corona puts pills into his mouth and sips it down with coffee. He took a deep breath and looked up to the ceiling. His vision started to go blurry and he fell to the ground. Corona had a smug smile on his face. He almost started to laugh. Then he looked at the clock again. Corona couldn’t tell what it was because of his vision. He decided to close his eyes for a bit. It didn’t take along until he fell asleep.
Corona saw a light in front of him. He felt like he was floating. Experience was almost like a cliché story that people who died and came back to life are usually telling. Then Corona started to feel something slimy on his face. He opened his eyes. He carefully touched his face.
“Aaaaa!” Corona screamed and got up from the floor.
He ran outside his office. There was a bathroom very close to his office. He almost fell to the ground because for some reason the floor was slippery. Corona opened the bathroom door. Luckily there was nobody there. He ran in front of the mirror. There was a snail on his face.

“What the hell?” Corona asked.
He carefully removes the snail and throws it to the wall. Snail died instantly and left a ugly stain on the wall. Corona washed his face and walked out of the bathroom. Now that he wasn’t panicking anymore he noticed that the floor was covered in water. Corona also noticed that it was night. He decided to go look for a source of the water. Even if it's night time there are usually workers doing their jobs. However, Corona couldn’t find anybody. He was also unable to find where all of the water came from. It’s like it came out of nowhere. Corona was in a break room where he and other workers drank coffee and talked bad about other game companies. Corona took a phone from his pocket but there was no signal.
“Well I guess I'll just go home then.” Corona said.
He was walking towards the exit until he heard a voice from the wall that was on the left side of him. Corona slowly walked closer to the wall and tried to listen if he could hear the voice again. Then suddenly the wall cracked. Corona took a couple of steps backwards.
“Okay guys. This is not funny anymore. You can stop this already” Corona said.
Slowly the wall was cracking even more. Corona was just about to run away until a big bloody monster hand bursts out of the wall and pulls corona inside the wall. Hand was so big that it covered the corona completely. He couldn’t see anything. He only felt like he was moving really fast.
Hand dropped corona in front of some kind of altar. Altar was made of bones and snail cells. Corona looked around him but saw only darkness everywhere. The only thing the light was shining on was the altar. Corona slowly walked to the altar. There was a piece of paper on it and a snail. There was something written on the paper but it was a language corona had never seen before. He started to hear weird voices inside his head. Voices were loud and it made the corona fall to the ground. He felt like his ears were bleeding.
“Stop” Corona said. He started to sweat and blood started to come out from his nose. He felt like dying. Then he noticed the snail that was slowly coming down from the altar. Corona quickly took the snail and started to eat it. Taste was disgusting but he forced it down his throat. Then all the voices went quiet. Altar started to burn. Slowly Corona got up.
“What the hell is this?” He asked.
Hand that took him before showed up from the above.
“Again?” Corona asked.
Then the hand grabbed Corona like it did before and pulled him to above.
Corona opened his eyes and noticed that he was on the floor. Right exactly at the same place he had fallen before. He looked outside and noticed that the sun was going down. Then he looked at the clock and noticed that his workday was over. Corona closed his pc, took his keys and walked out for his office. He was just about to open the exit door until he heard a voice from behind him.
“Did you finish the coding?” Man behind the corona said.
Corona turned around.
“I will finish it tomorrow” Corona answered.
“So you slept again? This was the last time. Don’t come to work tomorrow you are fired.” Man said.
Corona didn’t say anything. Man in front of him looked disappointed. Corona decided to just walk away. He opened the exit door and walked out of the building.
Corona didn’t live very far from his workplace so he usually can just walk home. He put his right hand in his pocket and felt something slimy. He took the slimy thing from his pocket and it was another snail. Corona wasn’t very surprised at this point. But this time instead of throwing it away, he eats it.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Old lady asked.
“I’m sorry” Corona said and started to run.
He got in front of the apartment he was living in. It was very small and not in a perfect shape but at least it felt like home to him. Corona opens his apartment door and right after he walks inside he closes the door and falls to the ground. He started to laugh.
“That sure was a fun workday” he said and kept laughing.
