Xania wakes up eventually, recalling what happened in the afternoon, realizing she slept in the morning as she sighs, her mind going back to the realisation she has to work.
Xania reluctantly gets up, out of bed, using magic to wash herself up and fire magic to dry herself, not caring to protect her clothes as they got much stronger from staying in the abyss that long with her.
As Xania walks towards the door, taking her own sweet time instead of teleporting to postpone it further, Ashe suddenly feels mana being used as she looks down, noticing a magic circle under her, most likely set by Anise as she gets too lazy to deal with it, accepting the teleportation.
A second later, she gets sent to a familiar location, the training grounds as she hears soft whispering being her and turns around to see a huge crowd of demon's along with her on a small wooden stage with Anise on her left and Graunter on her right as she sighs again.
Everybody, this is our demon lord!! Today you'll have the honor of being trained with her magic along with me and Graunter, her most trusted subordinates! Anise shows off a proud look, as Xania stares at her, surprised by how shameless she is.
Most trusted?
Yes my lord, we're one of your most trusted aren't we?
Debatable.
Huh? In that case, I'm not working on the underworld anymore.
If you do, I'll stuff you back into the bracelet.
…
Anyways, let's get started everybody!
Wait Anise.
Yes my lord?
Couldn't we just stuff them into the bracelet I made of imprisoning people? All I would have to do is use a mana crystal along with a magic circle to constantly heal, wouldn't I?
I suppose that could work.
In that case, bye!
Not so fast my lord. Anise interrupts Xania’s teleportation spell with Xania not resisting due to not wanting Anise's mana to rebound into her own body, mostly due to her already getting an arm chopped off yesterday.
What?
We have no mana stones left, Dragrove is planning to go on strike because we used all his mana stones.
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
On what?
Teleportation circles, because you were too lazy to use the spells yourself.
…
Anyways, let's start.
Xania sighs, starting to heal all the demon's, and despite them having nearly no fatigue and no injuries, they start feeling extremely energetic like after a dose of raw coffee powder as the Graunter picks up a big wooden bat.
Why are you isn't that weapon? Where's the one I gave you?
My lord, that'll kill the demon's in a single hit, even you can't revive.
I suppose that's true.
Screw it, just start.
Xania keeps healing as Graunter officially starts with Anise sealing the entrance and exits off with shields.
As they start, the demons, despite being weaker, run at Graunter without fear or hesitation even after getting hit once by one of Graunters swings which, while he held back, still probably still broke a bone or two.
Xania watches in surprise as they keep getting back up despite the injuries and probably in a bunch of pain as she keeps healing.
A couple hours later, she gets extremely bored, sitting down cross legged, supporting her head with her right hand and healing with her left.
Anise, when are we going to be dob????
Not much longer my lord.
How long?
Oh you know, just a couple of days.
A couple of days?
Yep, shirt isn't it?
Xania hugs her legs, still healing as she groans, annoyed and extremely bored, knowing that Anise probably isn't joking about this.
A couple days later, Xania still in her same spot, tired despite not actually needing sleep, looking like a statue due to not even changing her position to the point that Anise started finding it creepy due to how still Xania was, having never seen her so quiet or still before.
My lord, we finished with the training, are you okay?
… (Silence)
Ok… I'll get going first, I'm gonna go sleep, you… have fun?
…
Ok, I see you're not used to working for days on end at all.
Anise sighs, remembering that despite Xania suffering in the abyss, she had not yet been introduced to the horrors of the actual world, more specifically, being overworked severely without any pay.
Anise teleports xania to the toilet, splashing watch on Xania as Xania comes back to reality, her body as stiff as stone as she slowly starts moving again, using healing magic on herself as she gets back to normal, her eyes those of someone who had trauma.
My lord, it was just a couple days or healing, I think you're being too dramatic about this.
Xania slowly looks over at Anise, her hair and clothes dripping wet as she uses fire to dry herself up, including her hair.
My lord, does your hair just not catch on fire or something?
…
No response?
…
Anise teleports Xania to bed, pulling the covers over her.
I'll be back soon, my lord.
Anise teleports away to a secret room that she hid using magic, which Xania could find easily if she tried hard enough as she looks around as the small mound of mana stones.
If my lord found out we still had these, she wouldn't be happy with me, but I wasn't just gonna work while she enjoyed her life.
Anise picks a random decent enough stone as she fills it up with mana, turning around, prepared to teleport away to make the bracelet for the new training grounds as she turns around, already thinking of an reward to ask from Xania for “finding” the mana stone, as she turns around, humming to herself, satisfied, her meets meet what she thought was a dead body, backing up.
Ah!!! What the hell?!
As she looks again, she sees Xania, looking at the mana stone in her hand and behind her.
My lord… I can explain?
A few days later, the demons are now in the new bracelet, with Xania too lazy to create a proper room as they get automatically healed with Xania constructing a brand new pendulum clock, with the bracelet attached at the handle, swinging constantly.
Deserve it.
