A beautiful, stoic titanic tree came to my view. Time seemed to have resumed as the leaves once more lazily sashayed along with the wind. The birds continued on with their migration, flying off to their paradise.

I checked my surroundings once more, reassuring myself that I was indeed back in Gaia. Nodding to myself, I called forth my elements and felt relieved when they answered my call.

Yet, I felt something else with it. Something that felt familiar. Sinister. Deadly. I immediately delved within my inner conscious and the thing almost instantly announced itself.

It was, for lack of better terms, icky, dark and in a fog-like state. But of course, I'd recognised it anywhere.

Hahaha, I really did gain that fallen god's [Authority].

Wonderful.

I played with my newfound powers, as I noted down their weakness and strengths, where and when I should use them. After a few minutes, I got a somewhat clear status of my [Authority].

As I thought, it didnt really change much from the sinful god's original intake, except the time limit, efficiency and power outage.

Basically, it goes something like this.

[Wrath] : It boosts my physical abilites to the limit without any drawbacks using my Avesta reserves as its compensation. As such, I can't use any of the Avesta elements.

Time limit: 30 minutes.

[Envy] : It steals my opponents abilities and lifeforce, converting it to me but in return, the power is considerably halved.

Time Limit: 30 minutes

[Sloth] : My Avesta comprehension, manipulation and reserves rise to god level however the drawbacks is that I wont be able to use any other sins.

Time limit: 30 minutes

[Gluttony] : I can eat anything, be it material or immaterial and render them useless. Yet, I can only use this once a month...

(A.N: I'm not gonna add a time limit cause...well, its pretty obvious.)

[Lust] : In this state, I can seduce up to low level Entities with around an 80 % success probability and get them to do what I want. However, as compensation, I will be deprived of any feelings but lust....for 5 days!

Time limit: 30 minutes

[Greed]: I can use all of the above sins in a one hit one kill principle however the drawback is that I'll be deprived of any sins for 1 month.

Time Limit: 1 hour

But for some reason, I wasn't able to use [Pride] at all. Maybe it's on another level? Perhaps, there's a restriction and requirement to use it?

Shaking myself out of my thoughts, I touched my body, determining if there was any other side effect I hadn't realised. After confirming there was nothing out of place, I noticed the sky had already turned dark.

Imagining what that monster of a mother would do to me if I didn't arrive home on time, I casted Wind Avesta on myself as I bolted towards my manor.

The once familiar shapes of tress and Earth turned into blurry lines, making me nostalagic about the time I experimented with my Nature Avesta.

But seriously, I still don't understand how Nature would choose me as one of its wielders. It's frustrating and annoying, like a song that's suck to your head.

I am a HighKing. Everything should be within my grasp and never out of reach.

After a couple minutes, I reached my manor and swiped my identification card to get inside.

It beeped, recognising the owner and immediately opened its gates, while temporarily sealing up all the barrier spells I had placed on it.

I passed the familiar courtyard as I darted towards my room, hoping my parents were well asleep.

And, thank god they were. They lied together on their bed, embracing each other.

When I finally entered my room, I slowly loosen the tension my Nature Avesta placed on me and went inside my bathroom, taking a quick shower before crashing into my bed.

Haa~ This is mentally exhausting. Even if I desired a good fight, that was way too close to for my liking. Again, that was a low leveled god?! Fuck's sake...

This can't go on. I need to train harder. I thought I was already strong for my age, but that fight just proved me how vast the sky is. It's good to be proud with skills but only a fool would be arrogant without any skills to back him up.

But, at least I finally know how strong I am in this world. Hmph. Well either way, I'll eventually rise to the top. Until then, I just need...to...survive..

Tendrils of Darkness slowly enticed me to its domain, promising me of dreams and paradise as I willingly succumbed to it.

Timeskip (Morning)

" Aika, Dear~ Come quick~ The [Xerox] has already arrived!" , my mother, Akamine Kaguya yelled out.

In response, I walked out of my bathroom and wore the official World Academy's uniform as I checked myself in the mirror.

A black cardigan, engraved with red lines embraced the white undershirt that had flower patterns on the collars. It was accompanied with a pale white floral skirt that allowed easy movement as well as pale, black stockings that hugged my delicate legs. For the final touch, a pair of black shoes. All of them were enchanted with Avesta and friction Resistance, as well as durability.

Perfect.

I gently tucked a stray hair behind my ear and went downstairs towards my parents to bid them farewell.

" Ah~ There you are. Make haste dear, the [Xerox] might leave you if you don't.", my mother joked, quirking one of her eyebrows for added humility.

Whereas my father on the other hand,.

..is crying his eyeballs out.

Wait, shouldn't the roles be reversed?! Seriously dad, pull yourself together and you're embarrasing me.

Embarrasement and warmth filled my entire being as I hugged my...family with all the love I could muster.

I was hesitant to accept their warmth at the beginning but it was only because I had been scarred by my past live's betrayal. It was hard but, as they say, "let bygones be bygones". And, bygones I did.

I bid the couple that bred, nurtured, cared me for all these years farewell as I opened the gates and gracefully walked towards the black, enchanted futuristic car.

I noticed a tall, stoic, butler-looking man that stood beside the Xerox. Probably a butler. Once he noticed me, he bowed and pressed his finger on the car as the enclosed car revealed a slowly pixelizing hidden door.

"Milady.", he greeted shortly.

I nodded and bended slightly to nudge myself inside the [Xerox.] The interior was...amazing, futuristic indeed.

The interior was decorated with 6 leathery white seats, two in the front and four conjoined seats for the back, that were cold to the touch. Along with it, a floating handstand that provided many functions hovered underneath my left arm. Neon lights brightned up the floor as a white steering wheel slowly pushed itself out.

Soon, a small holographic women came into my view asking me if I needed anything. I kindly declined as the the butler/driver sat in front of me, propeling the [Xerox] forward and onto our destination.

I definently have to praise the inventor of these cars. It's suave and comfortable, just my type.

Pulling myself out of my thoughts, I looked at the view, provided by the one way mirror on my left.

To put it simply, almost everything was coloured white and made out of enchanted nano fibres to endure sudden Entity breakouts. It was no kidding how strong the Entities are, after all, the weakest of them could blow the tip of a hill into oblivion. And, that's me being generous.

Curved, flat, titanic buildings surrounded each other with beautiful decor. Xeroxes that ranged from many sizes and shapes, all futuristic to the extreme darted to the left and right of my vision. Rumbling, furious [Nexes] shot off against the railways that had been enhanced with extreme durability.

I watched the ever changing scenery while my boredom leisurely morphed into fatigue as I drifted off into sleep.

Timeskip (2 hours later)

" Miss, we have arrived at our destination", the driver said in a soft tone, his voice pulling me awake and away from utopia.

My eyes slowly fluttered open, trying to digest the information and memories that were pouring into me.

After a yawn and some stretching, I clicked open the door and went outside as the [Xerox] and the butler drove off to god knows where.

A waft of fresh air suddenly invaded my nose as pink leaves and a soft wind lovingly carressed my body.

I looked up.

Beautiful.

Bright pink, sakura trees laid alongisde pathways that led to the giant construct of education. The World Academy was further decorated with a lake and forest that situated itself around it. The Academy was huge, seriously huge. It was divied into around 10 buildings, for what purpose, I do not know yet.

Basically, it'd be akin to a small city.

Shaking myself out of my stupor, I walked to the gates of the Academy which was indeed like its predeccesors, towering and of good quality. A small beep was heard on the left of my hand as I walked past the gates that were enchanted with barrier spells.

I looked at the slolwy forming thing on my wrist. It looked something like a smartwatch, but more...simplistic. It was white, comfortable and futuristic.

A small holographic robot appeared shortly after, probably brought into reality by my smartwatch.

It provided me with everything I needed to know about the Academy, from its first construct to current time.

In summary, The World Academy of Japan had been build to teach the future generations about everything, ranging from simple calculus to mythology and Avesta. Continuing on, it started off with just one giant building and later on, a whole province was dedicated to it. It had a lake, forest, 12 buildings, each for a grade as the education levels and amenities needed for each grade were different. A grand assembly hall laid in the middle of all those buildings which everyone needs to attend, regardless of the situation, when called for.

Whereas for me, I needed to attend Grade 8, or highschool as I would call it in my previous life. The hologram directed me to my respective building and dorm, with the latter being the first.

I passed by many people, males and females, all of whom were cute at the very least but their Avesta or physical levels were....adequate at best.

Well, that's by my standards. A King stands for his people, no? As such, I can't help but worry a bit.

I finally arrived at the chambers that would serve its King for the next 4 years.

"So, it's begun. My rise to power has started. There is no more going back after this. ", I mumbled to myself, my hand slowly creeping up to the fingerprint scanner.

"So be it.", I said as the door clicked and turned diagonally before sliding sideways, acknowledging me as its owner.

The room was beautiful. Decorated with black, gold and red trimmings. A cooler, King sized bed, a wardrobe and a mini-robot that served me. Accompanying it would be the large pixelized windows that provided me a view of the Academy and its picturesque landscape. A bathroom equipped with the latest technology and as for the floor, it was made out of nano-fiber making it smooth but extremely durable.

This will be my chambers from now on. Hmm, a fine one for a king but still,..a bit lacking. Well, it will do.

After taking a quick shower, I opened my wrist watch as holographic apps came to existence. I clicked on the recommended app and on it, was the Academy's listed excursions, timetables, classes, etc...

There's an assembly tomrrow where the freshmen will be informed of their curriculum and probably, everything they can and can't do in this Academy..

I laid down on my bed, delighting in how it enticingly pulled me down and thought of the things I still needed to do as the day passed by...
