Delta X
Chapter 1
____________________________________________________________________
[ Setting: Sintaru’s Room]
Sintaru was gazing at his room's ceiling when he suddenly began to feel fatigued his eyelids
became heavy and before he knew it he was unconscious. When he woke up he was in another
room with no windows, there were two bunk beds. He saw three other people in the room that
looked about his age. He looked around the room once again rubbing his eyes this time to see if he
was dreaming. When he was done and realized he wasn't dreaming he talked to the guy in the bunk
bed below him.
"So where do you think we are right now"? I don't know I had just woken up a few minutes before
you myself.
I was home alone with my sister. She was helping me cook dinner then I suddenly blacked out, I
really hope she's okay.
Just then Sintaru remembered something. His older sister “Keisha” had been missing for over 3
years.
What's wrong!? The guy said concerned. “Oh, it's nothing, oh my manners! I am Sintaru Gin, a
college sophomore at Harvard.
Woah! The guy said with a smirk, you must be quite intelligent then. I am Leetaro Franks and
unlike you, I didn't go to college I dropped out of school because it was frustrating.
Sintaru turned and glared at the other two in the room and he recognized them from the
entrance exam at Harvard.
“What's their deal?” Sintaru replied. Oh, those two won't talk to you unless you're a celebrity or
something.
Just then one of the two which was the girl approached Sintaru and congratulated him on the
speech he made at Harvard along with scoring the top scores in the entrance exam.
Sintaru remembered seeing two names below his own with the same last name. Monika and
Moniko Hawk.
“So you must be Monika and that guy other there is Moniko.”
Yes, we're twins but he's the oldest. He's also a bit more intelligent than I am and prefers to talk
only when he has to.
“So how'd you end up here”?
My brother and I were studying as usual when I began to feel tired. I tried to stay up but keeping
my eyes open was a struggle before I knew it was unconscious. Then when I came to my brother
was already awake just as confused as I was.
Just then a bell rang erroneously opening the door out of the bunker. They slowly walked out of
the bunker and were met with even more bunkers. Above the bunkers were numbers and tags
attached to the bunkers with their names on them. Sintaru looked at his bunker’s number and it
had the number one so he went off to investigate the other bunkers. On his way, he stumbled upon
another applicant.
Sintaaaru! Cried Leetaro, where are you going to wait for me!
“Hey sorry about that”
Don’t worry about it, the strange man replied.
“So got any clue why these numbers are on the bunkers”?
Yes.
“Really”?
Yea these numbers represent how many days we were in this place. My number might be the
largest because I was on this project six years ago.
For a split second SIntaru sees his bunker’s number when he leaned over to let the passing
people get by. It was for 3,656 days.
“Thanks for the information”.
Moments later a man dressed in a coat, with a red tie and hair black hair covered under
fedora-wearing black pants and shoes entered the place.
Hello everyone and welcome I am Mr. Drew. You all were chosen because of your unique blood
type and hidden senses.
“Blood type, what's he talking about?” Sintaru whispered to himself.
Just then a man interrupted Mr. Drew's speech.
What the hell do you mean, unique blood types? Do you think we're kids your just a cheap
businessman who wants us to desperately believe this scandal and hide the fact that you kidnapped
us all? When I get out of here I'm going to contact my lawyer and send you to court for fraud and
kidnapping.
Oh is that so? Said Mr. Drew. I don’t like meaningless threats and false accusations, so I beg you
to forgive me for what I'm about to do.
What do you mean by “do”.
You’ll find out quite soon.
Mr. Drew removes his hands from his pockets and what he revealed shocked the man quite

greatly. His hands deformed into the shape and color of a common pistol. Sintaru’s body begins to shake.
Hey, I didn't really mean what I said. The man said in a terrified voice.
I'm sure you didn't, Mr. Drew paused, but what fun would it be if I didn't make an example of you
to the rest of the crowd who think they can stand up to me.
The man began running through the crowd shouting please don't kill me.
With a smirk, Mr. Drew aimed for the man and shot him dead straight at the back of his neck.
The man collapsed with a stud. Everyone's eyes were glued to the man laying on the floor terrified
to look at Mr. Drew.
Any other rebels among the crowd. He replied
The crowd was silent.
I guess that's, that. He finished.
Sintaru. Leetaro said.
“Yea?”
If I didn't know any better I would punch that man. He said pointing to Mr drew.
“Given the situation, he got what he deserved.”
Dude are you okay he just killed that guy!
“I know but if he gave it another thought he should remember where in that guy's custody we
don't know where we are and he had the courtesy to make empty threats. I have been looking
around and somethings off, I feel heavier than usual.”
Now that you mention it I do feel a weight on my shoulders.
I see so you noticed, said Mr. Drew. Where not in the world you once knew were in another
world. The gravity here is stronger. We’re in Delta X.
Sintaru's eyes began to shake, his face became pale and he was frozen in place. His eyes
burned with fury.
“Del...ta X” is what he said.”
Leetaro turned and looked at Sintaru who by then was only a shell of his former self, he could
feel the rage burning off Sintaru.
Yes, I'm sure that's what he said with a concerned tone of voice.
Then six years ago my dad was here… Sintaru whispered to himself. He was forced to be
here because of his blood type risking his life to get research on this world.
Six years ago…..
Hey Sintaru.
“Yes, dad?”
It's about time I tell you.
“Huh?”
I'm leaving and I'm not sure if I will ever be back where I'm going. You will have to go as well.
“I have to go to this place?”
Yes, It's a dangerous place so I have decided to tell you this now, based on the information your
grandfather taught me we used to live in that world. It's called Delta X us Z types belong to that
world. We aren't from this world and an organization by the name of io recently found out when a
few patients' blood type turned out to be Z. Leading them to the discovery of Delta X 3 years ago.
“What's all this supposed to mean?”
Son your body won't be compatible with the sense our family owns so as a last request Build your
body up exercise and train every day as much as you can or your body will burn out.
End of Discussion.
“Now I remember I'm home.”
Just then the door behind them opened. Revealing light that shines over their faces. Just as
soon as the light came it vanished uncovering a dark forest that had a deadly vibe to it.
Oh silly me before you set out to and recover any valuable information to secure order you must
select a captain. The captain will also be in charge of holding the portable bunker cube.
“Leetaro I think you should be captain. I let my anger get the best of me just now.”
That's great but I insist you be the captain and besides I'm not good with stuff I always end up
losing them for some reason.
Leetaro is right Monika replied you're the best fit for a captain.
“Alright if you guys insist I’ll do it.”
Marvelous! Mr. Drew continued you all seem to have chosen your captains.
Now the tags in the box you see in front of your bunkers should have your name inscribed in
them. Grab the tag with your name on it and pin it to your shirt. Then there should be a button to
the side of your doors, Captains please click the button to activate the portable mode.
Hurry up dude Leetaro said I'm curious about how these bunkers work.
“Yeah sure.”
Sintaru walks toward the bunker and presses the button, just then the bunker transforms into
a cube small enough to fit his pocket.
Woah Leetaro continued That's sick dude.
“More like disturbing Sintaru whispered to himself where'd he get the tech to make this type
of equipment.
