Chapter Two

Tutorial

In a flash of light, Jyn was transported to another place. Jyn viewed his surroundings. An open field. Perfect. If I’m correct, my “Death Scythe” build would be melee, this would be a perfect place to hold a fight.

Jyn, being weirdly obsessed with life steal, picked the first option. “Let’s go find some people to test this thing out on.”

After a while of looking around and searching, he found a group of people that were harassing and murdering other teams. Jyn grinned. This would be perfect to test his new weapon out on. He waited and followed them all around. They finally set up camp right outside of a small cave in a forest. There were six of them, and the odds were six to one. Jyn realized that he could wait for a member of the small team to go out alone to pick them all off one by one. He was about to give up and look for some other group until a message popped up.

“Boss, look! Some kind of event is happening!” A skinny blond kid said to a big and muscular-looking figure. “Let's wait it out for now. All of us are tired from fighting.” A brown-haired man said, “I’m gonna go scout our surroundings. I’ll be back soon.” And the man walked off, the same way as the cave’s entrance. Jyn, seeing an opportunity, followed the man. Jyn took the scythe off his back and stayed close to the man. “That was so frustrating! I can’t beli-” The man’s sentence ended abruptly. His head went flying and hit a tree with a sickening crunch. “Sorry, but survival is survival,” Jyn said to the already-dead man.

“Sweet. It works!” Jyn excitably said. Jyn remembers when he was first forced to kill someone. At the young age of 22, he was invited to join the Delta Forces, with his uncanny skill with a sniper, he would go on many campaigns, sniping and killing important people. This earned him the title of “Unseen.” With countless kills on him, murder no longer fazed him, his job forcing him to be ruthless, and without feeling. As he went off in the direction of the group, he thought of a plan to eliminate all of them at once, instead of picking them off one by one. As the event had a period of 3 days, he wanted to get as many kills as possible, so that he could get a extremely powerful reward. As the day was almost ending, he thought, maybe attack them when they’re sleeping, it would be quick and painless. Jyn headed back towards the small cave and saw all of them sleeping except for one on night watch. Jyn circled around until he was in the opposite direction of the guard, and then slowly army crawling, he stealthily was a few meters behind the guard. He pulled out his scythe and swung at him. Without a sound, he slit the throats of all of the group. He moved all the bodies into one pile and covered them in leaves. After all of this, he sighed and sat down, only to receive so many messages.

Jyn’s eyes widened. He expected up to Epic or Ultra Epic, but Ancient? This was a huge win for him! Suddenly, Jyn’s eyes felt heavy and weighted. He realized that he also needed sleep to keep going. He made a bed out of leaves, slightly camouflaged the entrance with vines and slowly slept.

Jyn woke up to the sounds of the morning, with birds chirping, wind rustling the leaves, and the occasional cricket chirps. He awoke to a series of messages.

Jyn started to head out back to the forest in search of more teams to kill. As he was walking, a weird green creature jumped out of a tree and shrieked at him.

[Identifying…]

Creature: Goblin

Type: Common Forest

Level:4

Goblins are attracted by the smell of death and blood. Cunning creatures, they usually travel in large packs.

Jyn slowly approached, and swung his scythe, and to his amazement, it evaporated into nothing after it died. There was still a bit of goblin blood on his scythe, and right as he was about to wipe it on the grass, several shrieks resounded in the air. Jyn tensed up his body and prepared to fight what he thought would be 2-5 goblins. What he didn’t expect, however, was the fact that there were hundreds of goblins rushing towards the spot where their comrade had died. Jyn was surrounded. He tried to find a gap in the closing circle, but he couldn’t. Suddenly, all the goblins shrieked at once, and rushed at him.
