Alice woke up to the sound of her mother screaming at her. “WAKE UP! OR I WILL KICK YOUR BED” Alice winced, remembering the last time her mother had kicked her bed. It didn’t end well for the bed. “I’m coming...” She groaned, looking around at her metal room. All girls of her family had to live in dreadful, metal rooms until they were 15. She supposed that she should be grateful, since she couldn’t wreck this room as easily.

“ARE YOU COMING OR NOT!?” Alice screamed back “I’M COMING MOTHER..” and she whispered “Darn grizzly bear of a mother...” She heard the deafening scream of her mother once again “I HEARD THAT, ALICE.”

She finally got dressed in her typical jeans and shirt before stomping down the stairs. “I’m here.” Alice spotted her mother dressed in her usual black and red spandex with a flowing cape behind her. Her mother was a hero, Red Fists of Justice to be exact. One of the most famous women hero’s of the century.

“What is it this time? A big truck, a fallen tree, a really buff villain?”

“No..I have to go apprehend Gram.” Alice’s mother sighed, rubbing her fingers on the bridge of her nose.

“Did she rob a jewelry store again?” Alice rolled her eyes, thinking of her villain Grandmother.

“Unfortunately, yes. Your Gram claims that we need the money. As if. “ Alice’s mother clearly didn’t agree with her mother’s villainous ways.”

“Anyways..I should get to school.” Alice took off, grabbing her special gloves on the way out.

”NOT GOING TO SAY GOODBYE? “ Alice could hear her mother shriek from behind her.

”NOPE!” Alice took off running. And so, her day started like this.
