It took Lu Geming a while to get up. By the time he did, the villagers were already long gone, doing what they were originally doing.
Lu Geming picked up the plastic bag full of fish. He looked at it, there was a tore on one side, and some of the fish fell to the ground.
Le Geming gritted his teeth even more, something that was awaiting him from having thrown the fish to the ground was just more beating.
He reluctantly picked up the plastic bag. He wanted to leave this damned place and go live in a forest, that way even though life was tough, it was not as tough as having himself be beaten every single day.
He would only encounter some wild animals there. He surely would know how to defend himself there.
As he picked up the plastic bag, he went inside the kitchen and washed the fishes. Some of the fishes inside the plastic bag were also damaged. He had to cut those damaged parts from the fishes and minced them. He then put it on a pot. He decided to make them into fish soup.
Lu Geming himself was a good cook. He quickly deboned the rest of the fish and fry them on a wok.
A great aroma from the cooked fish could be smell around the house, even the villagers walking in the streets around the house could smell it.
Lu Geming quickly put the pot of soup on a stove that he made, that was powered by charcoal. He planned to have the soup heated up, so that when he serves it, it would still be hot.
He then went out of the kitchen, got a broom and swept the backyard. Leaves would occasionally fall from the trees, so he had to constantly sweep it.

He looked up, looking at the birds flying on the sky.
He sighed, he even thought of becoming a bird. Birds could roam the sky. They were free, but of course not all of them.
Evening quickly came. Lu Geming was preparing to serve the food when he heard someone walking in the courtyard to the house.
“Creak!”
A footstep could be heard stepping on the wooden floor.
He didn’t bother himself looking. He quickly finished preparing the food.
Lu Geming walked to the hall where the chief and his family ate, holding a tray. On it was a cooked fish fillet, a soup and water.
He was walking carefully, afraid to make some noise on the wooded floor.
“Master, here’s the food.” He said upon he entered the hall.
When he entered, what he saw made him dumbfounded, shocked, happy, and feel deep fear.
He saw the chief lumped on the wooden floor, beheaded. His head was a meter from his body, the floor was dyed with blood.
He quickly saw a figure standing before a boy. The boy was naturally, Wang Junjie. Wang Junjie was shaking all over the body. Large beads of tears and sweat appeared on his face, forehead and body. Around him were the servants that were also lumped on the floor, they too suffered the same fate as the chief.
Wang Junjie saw Lu Geming entering the hall holding a tray full of delicacies.
“Geming help me!” Wang Junjie shouted at Lu Geming, he was really afraid. He asked Lu Geming for help, even though he did terrible things to him, he was still Lu Geming’s young master.
Hearing Wang Junjie asking for help, Lu Geming’s body suddenly shook, he felt a cold chill ran through his back. He saw the figure was looking at him.
The next moment he heard the figure saying “So you aren’t Geming.”
When Wang Junjie heard what the figure said, he froze. The figure had not killed him before because it was clarifying if he was Lu Geming or not.
A moment later, he saw his vision turning upside down, he was going to say something but he wasn’t given the chance. His head flew high in the air.
"Thud!"
The head landed on the floor.
"Spurt!"
Blood rushed out from Wang Junjie's neck like a fountain, splashing on the floor. His body knelt on ground before it crashed on the floor.
The figure turned around and looked at Lu Geming who was also shaking all over the body. When their eyes met, Lu Geming felt his vision turning blurry, then he fell to the ground as he lost consciousness.
