Jack Lightfall looked up ate the giant deep blue swirling portal, that he and his classmates were about to enter. After humans sent explorations into the depths of the sea deeper than ever before, they discovered the "Oceans Boon", that after you turn 18, you can claim a for you generated plot of land in the sea, where you can resources like Ores, farm and fish, with results straight out of fantasy. But you got one chance: If your island was taken by monsters, or you leave it for too long, it will be destroyed - with no way to get it back.Every year many people tried their luck, but only about 0,1% make it past the Novice stage, because if your not from a wealthy family that could hire you mercenaries and give you high-ranking seeds to start earning money, you where basically screwed. But there were people who made it anyway, and those are the mayor drive for so many people to try. Jack was no different-when his parents failed to succeed , they were in mayor dept because they had borrowed money for deep-sea resources in hopes to make it big. "I will show everyone, that i am different - the others at school, who bullied me because of that, and my parents, who gave their last pennie to buy some F - Ranked for me", Jack thought. Most of the higher-ranked seeds were controlled by big companys or wealthy families, so they stay in that position of power, and so even low ranked seeds cost a fortune. He looked up,  and saw that the portal has been opened by security, and righted the bag on his shoulders where his seeds and some beginner tools were kept. He encouraged himself and stepped forward, but when he wanted cross the portal,  a hand held him painfully at the shoulder. "Yo, Jack, still trying to die like the loser you are?" snorted Carter behind him. His cronies, who followed him everywhere as if they were little ducklings imprinted on him, laughed like it was the greatest joke of all time. Carter Captiva, from the Captiva family, who controlled most of the deep-sea plots, was a douchebag straight out of a manga. He was the one who made it popular to make fun of Jake because of his parents dept and their failure.
