We walked in and the first thing I saw was a giant shining oak brown floor where people wore wheeled boots called skates. Lights came from a reflective ball on the ceiling. “I loved this place when I was younger but I’m reminded of my flaws every time I come near here,” I said with a depressing tone. “Come on you’re not that bad. Let’s go get some skates!” Alba told me with an upbeat tone. I paid for some roller skates and walked to a carpeted bench like a giant bump on the floor.
I put the size 9 orange skates on while Alba put on some rollerblades. “Let’s hope I still remember how to do this.” She said as we walked onto the skating floor. She starts to skate and turns around. I see her flip through the air backward. The flip landed perfectly. “What the flying fuck! You know you scared the hell out of me right?” I said when I caught up to her. “Oh sorry, I didn’t think you would care.” She said bluntly.

We skated for a bit. I saw Alba spin, moonwalk, flip, and more on rollerblades! It was 1:00 when we ate lunch. I paid, of course. She got nachos and I got a cheeseburger. Once we sat down at a blood-red table, we started to eat. “So how in the fucking hell are you that good at skating?” I asked. “About 5 years ago I won 1st place in an ice skating competition.” “Wait you won an ice skating competition when you were 11?” she nods.
I got up to get a refill and I thought I saw someone. No, she’s dead remember, your mind is stupid; I thought. I remembered that night, the night when my life took a final dip. I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw Alba. “Hey, are you okay? you looked like you saw a ghost.” “I thought I did,” I said while walking back to the table. We sat there in awkward silence until a very familiar voice speaks up. “Hey Baladan long time no see.” I turned around and saw a blond, pale girl with blue eyes. It was Rose Gardener, my first kill!
