Did you know that the scariest thing is actually suffocation? People who lose the ability to get scared will actually become terrified when they aren’t breathing enough oxygen. The point of fear is to get you to go away from something that can hurt you. When the part of your brain that governs it isn’t working, it causes weird disconnects were in situations where normal people wouldn’t be afraid, they become terrified of seemingly nothing. It’s not particularly relevant, I just thought it was interesting little tidbit.
I’m going to pretend that having full conversations with yourself is a perfectly healthy way to cope with being trapped in some sort of hell.

Maybe now it seems fine, but could you imagine being trapped in a single room for days, and then weeks, and then months, and then years, and then decades, and then-
You get the picture.
There’s a reason why solitary confinement is considered a punishment for criminals that are already in jail. The human mind is designed to work with its fellow humans, and in an environment with regular stimulus. No matter what some people may think. Having neither of those... your sanity tends to start making its way out the door.
Talking to yourself is definitely not the first step down that path by the way. Nope. Definitely not. It is a perfectly healthy and sane thing to do because that’s what sane and healthy people do.
