Schedule Announcement

Hello,

I have been developing a work schedule to ensure you have content to read while allowing me time to create it. Some issues have arisen regarding the current schedule, and they have been expressed through comments and reviews. I'll try to address them all, including what seems to be the release pattern on the site.

When I write chapters, I don't focus on word count, for better or worse. Though some reviews have taken this very personally, it won't change my writing approach. Arbitrary limits are not good for quality writing. Some scenes must be long, while others as short as two pages; and if the context demands, they will be in separate chapters. Some upcoming chapters will exceed four thousand words, others less than five hundred. As someone noted, this isn't an issue in paperbacks, but it is in serialized novels. All my favorite authors vary their chapter lengths, and I trust their judgment.

That said, I am more than willing to accommodate the habits of my readers. There's no need for contention; it would be silly of me not to offer an easier solution. Initially, I thought daily posts were necessary to build an audience. Now that the audience is here, there's no need for daily posts if they create problems. Therefore, I'll release shorter chapters on the same day as longer ones, ensuring no complaints about insufficient content on release days.

Choosing release days is more complicated. Monday? Tuesday? Wednesday? Observing other authors, I found no clear pattern to follow. Consequently, I've decided to choose days based on my preference. For instance, I won't release chapters on Mondays, as they're not ideal for enjoying reading.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Prior to revealing the schedule, note that while I have ample free time, it's not unlimited. I must be realistic about how much I can write daily. So far, I've released more than expected through shorter chapters, pre-written ones, and some neuroticism. However, continuing this way would make writing a long-term torture, akin to Adriana's initial plan for Lily. Releasing four chapters a week would either burn through substantial chapters or leave you with little to digest. It would make my schedule hectic and prevent me from leaving my home study without feeling unproductive.

Thus, I'll set two fixed release days and two additional days for surprise releases. My favorites are Friday and Sunday. Fridays are exciting, perfect for going out, while Sundays are mellow, ideal for couch reading—especially if it rains. Chapters are guaranteed on these days. Tuesday, however, will see no releases, as it's an unremarkable day. Then, Wednesday and Thursday are potential surprise release days, since I like Wednesday and it's next to Thursday, making a double-release exciting and followed by another on Friday.

A final note on the story: I've read most reviews and many comments, though I find it hard to engage with them. I encourage criticism of my work. For instance, a reader pointed out the lack of ceremonies, rituals, or cultural elements for the Church, and I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, I realized this only after introducing the Church, making changes impossible until the first manuscript is complete. This first book might triple the size of a standard novel. What I'm trying to say is that I am attentive to feedback and will incorporate it during revisions, including expanding certain scenes, once the first book is finished.
