"You think we haven't prepared for this? Hah" Says Max Sun, the current emperor of the sun empire for which i worked so hard. I knew he had malice towards me the moment i helped the empire develop as the people started to put more faith in me and slowly forgeting their useless emperor.

I already knew the chances for me to escape are slim so i stall for time to get ready for my Dawn arts. The dawn arts are the legacy of my clan and they are known as the most destructive arts on the continent. That is one of the reasons i am currently in this situation.
Markus began to emit heat and so both enemies knew it was time to fight. For people on their rank life and death battles are uncounted so they know when to talk and when to not. Markus makes the first step and all the area around him starts to melt. After the second step everything is on fire in a 200 Km radius. In the third step all the heat dissapears but the sword is falling toward Max Sun.
Max realises the danger as all his hair is trembling and a suffocating pressure is covering all his reatreat spots. He realised that there is no retreat so he uses his most powerfull technique and counters. Max uses a spear and the technique he uses is called royal sun spear. This is the legacy passed in the royal family of the Sun Empire and so most of the emperors uses this technique.
The moment the weapons colide Max's spear is cleanly cut and the sword continues toward his neck. Max dodges hastly but the sword still manages to cut one of his hands.
"As expected from the Dawn arts, so much offensive power even at the emperor rank. I guess it was right to all out here because if you ranked to Ruler we would've had no chance." Exclames David Crown, looking at the clean cut spear.
"Don't worry about it, I am more than enough to make sure at least one of you falls here" responds Markus out of breath. That attack takes alot of concentration along with aether.
"That was only the first step and i still got 2 to go". The Dawn Art has 9 total steps and it is said that if one manages to use the 9th step, he can pressure the whole continent.
As he says that Markus continues to attack using his sword arts and his Intent, trying to recover as much aether as he can at this time. Of course the enemies aren't dumb so both of them start using their most powerful mastered arts to not give a chance to markus at recovering.

Markus realises this and he decides to risk it all. Restarting the Dawn arts he steps again this time towards David. As Davind realises the situation he is in he too uses the Crow Art as his sword gets on fire and combines with his Intent. When Markus manages to take the forth step, the surrounding clouds are dispersing and the sun rays are traveling down. Markus's sword gets illuminated by the rays but he doesn't stop there and takes the fifth step. At the moment his body is already on pressure and he connot move too fast but luckly when he takes the fifth step the illusion of the sun apprears on the sky and it seems to approach their fighting zone.
The two realise that they underestimated Markus and so their morale begins to plumet but knowing that they will die regardless both of them attack Markus . A Crow image appeares besides the sun in the east and in the west appears a red spear. When the techniques reach a certain level they start to create illusions in the sky that puts pressure or offers support depending on the used Art. All three of them are using offensive arts so all surrounding life starts to wither as the pressure is too much for them.
As Markus observes their Arts, he grits his teeth and forcefully takes the sixth step.
His body starts cracking and he gets covered in blood but the image of the sun is getting doubled and the pressire isn't something like 1+1, it multiplies so much that the spear and the crow start falling towards the groun.
Markus moves toward Davind and swings his sword. As the sword approaches, the sun in the sky begins to fall too. Davind is already paralised from fear as he looks at the sun that threatens to eat him whole. The sword cuts his like butter as Davind's eyes loses their luster. But there is no time to regret as he already died.
As Markus falls to the ground from the damage the use of the sixth step put on him, Max appears behind and stabs. Blood starts to fall and Markus realises that his life his not far from end so he decides to end it big.
All the continent and the sea around it starts to tremble as a voice is heard. "Markus Dawn, current leader of the Dawn clan, offers his soul to the heavens as payment for the heavens fury towards Markus's enemies."
All the souls on the continent suddenly suffer from pressure as another voice is heard. The moment the voice appeard, the time stopped, the nature froze, the whole continent and the whole world got stuck in time. "When light covers the Dawn teritory, revenge shall be fulfilled. ", says a cold voice that makes all the froze souls shudder again as the time starts working .
Markus's body is decomposing in particles of light so he looks at the sky, then looks in south, the place he should've got to, then he dissapears completly.
Far in the south, as Markus almost dissapears, a voice appears in Andrew and Elizabeth's ears, Markus's child and wife that only they would hear even if someone would stay close and listen. "Im sorry, I will make it up to you in the next life.". They both knew that was a only a lie as offering your soul to the heavens equals getting restrained for at least 5 lifetimes.
