To think my life would be this low. You ever stop to think what your life would have been like if my family was rich? Yeah I bet everyones been there done that. My name is Isume and I live with my grandmother and two little brothers my grandfather recently passed away hint the shrine we're paying our respects to. My mom and dad where druggies so at the age of 5 we ended up on our grandparents steps fastforward ten years and I'm 15 and my brothers are 10 with my grandfather no longer alive theres no one to support us my grandmother had a bad back for as long as I can remember so it's basically up to me to make the dough in our family, and yes I mean literal dough for a bakery not to far from the house I make dough for every morning and nights to keep up with requests it gets the Bill's paid so I dont complain I dropped out of school awhile back when my grandpa got sick just to cover the medical fees now that hes gone i use the money to put my two brothers through school and keep the house afloat... but if I'm really honest I'm tired i have no friends and life hasnt been to kind to me just makes my suicidal thought even greater but i try my best to live on. "Grandma the twins are almost home from school what would you like to eat today?" I say to her hoping on the couch to cuddle her "Dont even think about it, I'm old but not that old I'll cook dinner you just rest." She says while petting my head "I know it's hard for you and it's no secret that your unhappy." She says while tracing the bags under my eyes "Put I'll do what I can while I can because we never know what tomorrow will bring" and with that she got up from the couch to go make dinner I always hate when my grandmother talks as if shes going to die out of nowhere even though it's possible why leave the feeling of death in the air. I couldn't bear to think about it so I closed my eyes toke a deep breathe and just like that a new day begins.

TUESDAY

On my way home from work something amazing happened a metor shower if only you could have seen it. I heard if you make a wish on a metor shower the gods hear your wish even clearer making it come true. So before I entered the house I took the chance I mean what harm could it do! "Please god I'm begging you change my life for the better I want to live happily with my family without worries about money." I cried that night until I had no tears left to cry. I went inside and warmed my food up thanking my grandmother silently. I heard the door open and seen my brothers come out "what are you guys doing up?" I said smiling "feels like forever since I've seen you guys." Kenji frowns "It has been forever why do you have to work so much just stay home!" I look over to both of them sensing there concern. "You idiot how else would we survive if not for Isume!" Genji said while slapping kenji on the back of the head. I laughed hugging them in my arms tightly I see Genji is maturing faster then kenji while kenji is emotional and frustrated. "I'm sorry" I whispered into both of theres ears "it wont be like this forever" I say kissing each of them on the forehead. Just then something happened an earthquake that caused our house to shake uncontrollably and a just of wind as if our walls where no longer standing all I could hear afterwards where my brothers scream and my grandmother coming out of her room to embrace us all.

I was in a deep sleep what seemed like forever, while I was dreaming I meant someone called Izanagi he seemed really into the "the great power comes with great responsibility" bs and I wasnt buying it after what seemed like forever he finally stopped talking "did you understand all of that? Can we move on?" MOVE ON!! you're telling me theres more bs the lune wants to spout. "Enough I want to go home why cant I wake up" I shout clearly very irritated "thats because your in a coma" he explains I've been in a coma for a year and that my brothers had to drop out of school to pay for my medical expenses! The exact opposite I wanted to happen! My grandmother stayed by my side through it all. I've had enough and wanted to wake up from this dream immediately because...ah ha! I'm in sleep paralysis this is the only other explanation for me not being able to wake up. "Are you that dense? Do you actually think this is sleep paralysis?" Izanagi yells I thought that I dont remember saying that out loud! Wtf! "Of course I can read your mind this is the soul realm have you not listened to a word I said?" I look away guilty as charged "Isume, look around you what do you see?" Water....lots of water as if it goes on for miles as I was about to answer him I looked up to the sky to see the same meteor shower I saw that day everything went to shit. "So you remember" he says finally relived further explains that the world I knew was no longer that day a numerous amount of mana within those meteors touched down on earth releasing it into the world our entire ecosystem and food chain was being reevaluated as we speak and portals to other worlds started opening around the world.our animal mutated just as we did for some unknown reason some people obtained mana while others didnt leaving a few individuals to fight for what remains of our world our government its self changed its was divided into factions composed of top teir mana users all fighting for dominance....its amazing how well humans can evolve given the circumstances. "I get it but why am I here and not in my body?" I've been thinking and it doesnt seem like others have been hospitalized because of the it so why am I a special case.... just my luck huh "yes just your luck Isume because you obtained a massive amount of mana from the meteor shower, it forced your consequenceness out of your body leaving you in a vegetable state and I Izanagi am here to help you control your mana and get your consequence back in your body" he smile wide wearing his pride on his sleeves "how long will it take for me to get the hang of it?" I glare at him questionably "mmmm 2 if not 3..." he stops and turns around "days!?" I ask "months" he replies something in my body hurt, I fell down into the water wishing upon better luck I'm tired of this my life sucked but it was ok knowing my brothers and grandma where ok now there not and I'm the one being taken care of causing worry and fear into everyone i just wish i didnt have to worry..."and you dont for the time being your brothers and grandma also obtained mana from the meteors your brother Genji obtain a fire attribute from lord hades himself while your brother Kenji Obtain great intelligence from lord Tenjin himself all very good attribute they where able to enter into Dalmaine Faction giving them a pretty decent salary for the time being your family is not struggling nor are they in any danger."

And just like that 3 months went by I was able to control my soul and body within that time frame I learned alot I also managed to get Izanagi to cough up my attributes turns out each god specializes in certain attributes mine just so happens to be elemental magic earth, fire, water, wind I guess that's Izanagi for you. "Just like we practice, breathe let your soul guide your body so that they become one" I hesitate...."will I ever see you again?" I ask he smirks as if I'm suppose to know what that means and just like that I closed my eyes and I was back.
