The New Beginning

When I regained my consciousness I was still in the confined black space. The space however was now very limited, I could feel the edges. This black space did have a very pleasant feeling to it which it didn't have before.

I start to move and I can feel that it’s quite the small space I can’t stretch out my body to its full length. I start to move violently. Why? It felt like the just right to do so, it was like an instinct.  

After some time of moving I could see faint rays of light in cracks. I tried to move my body again but there was no progress. I was tired, really tired but I continue to move as much as possible. The cracks got bigger and bigger and more and more light dispelled the darkness. I think that I can say that I am in an almost cracked open egg now.

The egg split open after what I think was a tremendous effort. Around me I can see a sun which blinds me and is only an hour from sunset. The comfortable feeling I had inside the egg had now left me but was quickly replaced by the feeling of excitement and fear for this new world.

I was on a platform which could fit a dragon or maybe more. Behind me I could see a larger building which had stairs up two it. The buildings around the platform was a sort of temple like buildings and they were not small in number but not very large. They still looked newly built in the Roman or Greek style with some eastern building as if they couldn’t decide on a distinct style. The platform was above the base of a mountain and under the platform in the middle of it was a river with happily running water. Later I got to know that it was called the river of the beginnings. The fact that no one was around surprised me since the place was huge and have palace feel to it.

Right in front of me there was a letter. I was curious as I opened it.

Well our little conversation just now was a bit dull. You was in that space for about 30 seconds and I didn’t make it in time to explain a few things. The reason for you only being there for 30 seconds is that a soul has no perception of time which means that time will fell almost endlessly long. 1 second could represent 1 year. The brain of a body adds the perception of time since there are more processes in the body occurring at that moment.

You are on Mount. Forengar. The highest mountain of this world. Fit for the dragon god or now it is The Dragon Goddess. Sorry.

You are a hybrid god. To make a long story short you’re a god of 3 different areas, your goal as a Supreme God is to reach the God tier, you have more than enough potential to become a Highgod or maybe even a Universal God. The Universal God is the Absolute god of this world. The Supreme Gods are named gods that I have chosen. There are however self-proclaimed gods as well which will steal your power, if they can find you that is and there are others which just are natural beings but have reached the god class.

Well on Mount. Forengar your temple stands. There should be a place where you can find food and other stuff like cloths and a book. The food should last for 4 years. That’s one of my last gifts to you.

To answer your previous question, you are a Demigod. That is a tier of being not a race or class. You can't start all superior and be all overpowered in the beginning and you are also a mix of elves and a Dragons, they are called Daylids. Being a god in more than 1 area can create complications but that does not matter now. There are other demigods like you that I also have been chosen for different areas like, war, sea and fertility. You are the only Tri-god and there are two Double Gods, having more divinities also have its advantages. Being god of more areas is not necessarily better either but all gods have authority for their area ex: You the dragon god can influence the dragon race, give them blessings or give other races the dragon god’s blessing of intelligence, strength etc. But all that is in the distant future first you need to become a Highgod to be able to do stuff like that but you can still do minor blessings but that will exhaust your power by a lot.

Choose Your Name

‘Ohh yeah, I need a name-’ To pick a name is always hard. It’s like you choose your superb username for a game.

‘I’ll go with Jormungand.’ It is the name for the dragon that protects Asgard. ‘But wait am I a girl or boy?’

I look down my body full of the excitement from the letter that God Almighty gave me. This place seem to be awesome. But when I look down the third leg is missing.

‘WHAT!’ I screamed out load in my head but not so loud to the world more like a baby trying out its new vocal chords.

“Waghhh” was what came out of my mouth. I did not say that because I was disappointed in my new gender, rather it was because I always wanted to be a girl. I always thought ‘ohh it’s so boring being a boy. Only if I could become a girl.’ So this was good news now but only later did I find out all the cons.

I was so excited now that I couldn’t contain it

‘Where can I find a mirror?’ I thought I started exploring the temple and came to the edge of the temple where I could see a forest but not so much because there was a lot of clouds around the temple. Now I understood why this mountain could be highest. It seemed to be even higher than Mt.Everest.

After some more exploring of the temple I finally found a living quarter. It looked more like an emperor’s bedroom with a huge bed which could fit more than enough people. There had this majestic fell to it. There was a large wardrobe a working place and in the distance i could see an opening to what I would call the biggest bath I've ever seen. After looking though the room I found the mirror which was quite big. I also found a small study which was connected to the bedroom and bath.

“Shggiighht” Escaped my mouth. In the mirror I could see the appearance of a 3 year old girl. Rainbow eyes, childish but sharp facial features. I was slender really slender it only struck me now that I was. My hair flowed like silk with its rainbow colors. It was stunning. I admired my new body. Even if I was searching for imperfection I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to find any. Looks wouldn’t be a big problem in the future it seems.

“Bachhh thuu mah nahhhme” I said hearing that my vocal chords have started to function more properly.

There are quite a few names you could chose for a girl like Gunhilder from the Norse but I am a dragon as well. I have to see if I have a dragon form later. But I choose the name Ryuu. Why? Because it means dragon spirit and I like it. I think it works for females as well but I’m not sure.

“May name shall be Ryuu!” I shouted with a antic fell to my wording.

'I am four years? How?' Is that even possible I just woke up.

'Well for now I’m tierd so I'll just go to sleep, that bed did seem to be quite comfortable so it wouldn't hurt to use it right?'

I wake up to happy sound of birds singing or not birds but howls of big beasts. I don’t know why but it felt good to for my ear. The sound was very clear and came from the outside. The supreme emperor’s bedroom was not only huge but had a large balcony for me to look out and down the mountain. I think I could say that it’s mine but it was still a bit to luxurious for me to feel comfortable to say so.

Outside on the balcony I could see dragons flying by the mountain at a tremendous speed. They were huge. I can’t really describe them. The distance between me and the dragons was very and I could see them as if they were only meters away from me. Could this be one of my abilities as a dragon to be able to see and hear at such distance? 

Then a cold breeze of wind touched my skin. 

‘Ohh shit, I’m still naked.’ I now remember. 

This in fact was quite weird since I had explored bits of the temple completely naked yesterday. Maybe my exhaustion and excitement could be blamed for that. 

I quickly reentered the supreme emperor bedroom. I felt like the temperature rose by a bit, I wonder why that is. It didn’t hurt me so, what was there to worry about. I came to the wardrobe which didn’t really look like one now that I take a closer look at it. It was more like an entrance to a room. I opened the wardrobe and inside I could see a space and shelfs filled with clothing. To my surprise I can’t seem to find shorts and t-shirts only dresses. Well I say surprise but I’m not very surprised at all.

I grab what I think fits the behind the dress I picked I could see a pair of underwear. I take them and walk to the mirror to test this new piece of clothing. I quickly put on my new under garments, even if I say it’s my body I am still not used to the fact that I am a girl. The feeling of the underwear was weird it was only a piece of panties not a bra that is white and had its small ribbon on it. It was not very decorative. After that I toke the dress and put it on. It was a small white dress that blended together with my rainbow eyes and hair. It was princess like but easternish styled with a skirt almost a bit too noble like for my taste. I was still barefooted though but I don’t mind that at all. 

Then I saw what I failed to see in my excitement yesterday. I have pointy ears, I thought.

 “I am an elf!” I screamed. It was logical since my status said my race was Daylid a hybrid race between dragons and elves. 

After a bit of wandering around the temple, which still was mostly unexplored. I need to have an exploration session later on to map this place out. I’m afraid I’ll get lost if I don’t know my surroundings. This place is huge I keep saying that but I just can’t describe it, but I found the kitchen and in the storage room there was loads of food.

Not just any food, food with good quality, junk food, sweets and even ice cream. It was food from my previous world, Earth food.

There is so much food, and the expiring date says never, yes it literally says never. I later found out that it is an otherworldly product and such product is not affected by time. The most important thing I could find was BACON. BACON!!!!! What would you do without BACON. I had forgotten parts of my memory but I do remember that bacon had a heavenly taste. The salty and crunchy taste which filled the mouth, bite after bite. That’s a thing that is really hard to forget.

In the end I saved the bacon and toke a ordinary sandwich and drank water to it. There are several wells around the temple which have drinkable water, I think so at least. The sandwich only had a slice of cheese on it and salami. What will I do when my food heaven is eaten up. Arghh, I get anxious by even thinking about it.
