“Steve! Take your shot we don’t have enough time to decide.”
“Come on guys let’s go, the barricades are falling.”
“What about the other survivors?”
Steve was very reluctant to save his own life. Hundreds of people composed of children, elders, and injured people are sheltered by the place currently swarmed by Vectors. Together with his four friends, he ran hesitantly. He blames himself for being too weak to save the people he was together with just earlier. He imagined an image of them being eaten by the vectors. He swore to himself that he would one day make the Vectors payback.
“We are saved, the army is coming.”
Maple shouted delightfully. Seven helicopters can be seen just above them. Soldiers carried by the flying engines were holding shoulder cannons and ready to blast the place. A specific chopper descended in front of them carrying medics with white uniforms. Tank trucks can be seen far from the scorching place they are in. Such was meant to usher more numbers of survivors, but unfortunately, only the four of them survived.

The helicopter carrying them ascended then made its way back. Tank trucks maintaining their distance for safety were signalled to do the same. Soldiers and medics with the purpose to evacuate more than hundreds of people failed to do so. With these events, however, four lives are worth the risk for them.
“I told all of you, we should have continued to run.”
“The elders are exhausted.”
“We can’t do anything, we could have just left them behind.”
Steve, Maple, Lisa and, Yura. Out of the 34 students from their class who were able to find the place where people are gathered, only four of them made it out. The place to rest they found just half a day ago is now the grave of their classmates.
“General, we’re here.”
“Alright, take these children to quarantine. No one hurt them until confirmed. I don’t want any lives wasted from now on.”
“Roger Sir! – Everybody move!”
