Leray Series: 04/19 Jane Venn begins her new journey as a Leray wielder, traveling the world of Sprawn Valley, battling other challengers, and maximizing her magical skills to become a Leray Master! Danny and Taylor are not as enthusiastic about becoming Leray masters, but they have found a footing in the plan to hone their skills while following Jane on her epic quest. Things unfortunately do not turn out for Jane the way she would hope. After a series of failures, Jane becomes convinced that something could be wrong with her magical states, given what spell bomb she used on herself in the past. If she really is under an Amahar Curse, then the only way to remove it would be to travel all the way to the Den of Purity, which is in the Junon region. Danny and Taylor claim Jane is being childish and simply needs more practice, but they have other reasons to avoid or put off going to Junon for as long as possible. If Jane accelerates her travels, it would become problematic for them. Even so, Danny has other matters on his mind. The incidents around Sprawn Valley still have no official explanation, and it now feels like something more dangerous is lurking in the shadows, out of sight from virtually everyone. There hasn't been any proof that dark magic is a serious threat to the nation, but not everybody is so convinced.
