“Screw this life,” a 16 year old boy with short scruffy dark green hair said during recess at Raizen High as he rested his head on his desk, “Why is my life so hard?”

“I don’t know. Why don’t you ask that other guy in your head, Natsuro?” a voice of a girl can be heard from the desk next to him.

“Well, I can only tell him about my problems and he can’t answer. If I can hear his voice, that means I am going mad.” Natsuro rebuked as he looked to the side, revealing his dark green eyes.

As he looks to the side, he sees a 16 year old girl sitting on her chair looking at some papers. The girl has shoulder length bluish black hair and baby blue eyes. On her desk, a notebook with the name ‘Neri Yamago’ can be seen

“You think I don’t have problems of my own huh?” Neri asked after he ranted about his problems. 

“I am one of the popular students in this school. You know how many love letters I got every week? Around 4 !” Neri said while showing the papers in her hand, “Plus, I have to keep my good image or else I’ll get gossiped about. Not like you whose presence is not even detected.”

“Well, can you imagine the pain of being almost invisible? People kept bumping into me like I wasn’t even there and worse, a teacher almost had a heart attack when I showed up to help him.” Natsuro rebutted. 

“Whatever, come on. You don’t want to make your friend waiting,” Neri said to him as they both got up.

When they got up, it was revealed that they were around the same height which is around 173 cm. Both of them are wearing a buttoned white shirt under a black with white line jacket that has a red shield insignia on its left chest. Natsuro was wearing a blue necktie with white stripes and black trousers while Neri was wearing a red neck bow, a blue skirt with black lines and black stockings. As they walked in the hallways, their black shoes can be heard clacking on the floor. As they arrived in front of Natsuro’s friend’s classroom, Neri saw a girl with long dark purple hair tied into a single big ponytail by a red bow, wearing the exact same uniform as Neri clinging to the arm of a short blue haired boy as tall as them, wearing the exact same uniform as Natsuro in a flirtatious manner. The boy is their schoolmate Itsuka Shido while the girl is Yatogami Tohka, the new transfer student.

“Don’t you think about it, Natsuro.”  Neri said to him as she held her arm in front of him.

Natsuro managed to hold himself and let the scene he saw slide. 

“I'll let you off the hook for now since you are a new transfer. If you do it again, I swear I will pull you two apart,” he said to himself.

“They’re pretty cute together. It’ll be a shame if my lonely brother pulled them apart,” Neri thought to herself.

In front of his friend’s classroom, a student bumped into Natsuro. “Oh my god! Natsuro-san, sorry I didn’t see you there,” the student apologized. 

“It’s okay, watch where you’re going next time,” Natsuro said to the student. 

It was pretty common for him to be undetected by other students since it was one of his life problems to be like that due to his low-profile state. Then, a 16 year old boy with short messy royal blue hair covering his left eye, with a height as tall as them and wearing the same uniform as Natsuro got out of the class and greeted the two figures outside.

"It's kinda hard, huh Natsuro? To be the 'Invisible-discipliner'?" The boy asked Natsuro jokingly.

“Shut up, Haruto,.” Natsuro said to him.

“Well, it's pretty much my twin brother’s fault to be so low-profile to the point his presence was almost undetected,” Neri said.

“Oi… Neri, why are you taking his side huh? Have a crush on him? If you do have a crush on this guy right here or with that Itsuka Shido, I won’t hesitate to knock some sense into you.” Natsuro said as he cracked his knuckles. 

“As if I liked them, neither you nor Shido are even my type” she rebuked the boys.

“Natsuro, Neri…. Come on, don't start a fight here. Anyways, the usual spot again?” he asked the twins.

“Sure… Let’s just hope the new transfer student Tohka doesn’t finish all the good stuff there… Rumor has it she can eat a lot of food and stay slim as heck.” 

"Huh… I wonder how she did it though." Neri replied as the three of them walked to the cafeteria.

As they enterd the cafeteria, it was a bit noisy yet peaceful. Students can be seen lining up to buy food, some can be seen talking to one another, a typical sight in a cafeteria. The trio then found and approached an empty table. But when they were about to sit down, the Spatial Quake alarm blared to life and the situation turned into chaotic and very loud. Students rushed out of the cafeteria as the teachers gave them instructions. Due to the chaotic situation, Natsuro and Neri got separated from their friend Haruto.

“Natsuro! Neri!” Haruto yelled as he was swept away by the crowd of students.

“Don’t worry about us. We'll all get through this mess alive and kicking.” Natsuro shouted while taking Neri to the Spatial Quake bunker.

However, neither Neri nor Natsuro made it to the bunker as they knew exactly what was happening. 

“A spirit must’ve appeared somewhere huh?” Neri asked her twin as they managed to separate themselves from the rest of the crowd. 

“Yeah… And I bet those AST personnel will be there, so there is a high probability we’ll see our friend Origami there.” Natsuro replied. 

“Wait, that Origami? The athletic-genius? She’s AST?!” Neri asked shockingly. 

“Yeah, that Origami. How do you not know this?” Natsuro asked her as they were running through the empty Tengu City. “Neri, you know what to do.” Natsuro said to her. “ Of course,” she said. 

“Eli,” they both muttered. In an instant, their clothing changed drastically. Neri’s clothing changed from her usual school uniform into a blue and yellow sleeveless outfit with a little part on her chrnedest that revealed a little of her cleavage. Her skirt turned into navy blue short pants. A belt out of water appeared around her waist, a dark blue face mask with a navy blue strap materialized on her face and a blue cape formed behind her back alongside boots on her leg. 

Natsuro’s outfit also changed, his school uniform turned into a dark green shirt covered by a black and dark green hooded robe alongside black trousers to match his upper outfit and a boot materialized on his legs. A mask out of black cloth appeared and covered half his face while they were running. 

“I take this side and you go to that side Neri.” Natsuro commanded his twin. “Right… Good luck bro,” Neri said while jumping onto the roof of a building. 

Natsuro proceeded to jump on a building’s rooftop but as he got there, he saw two figures: one was wearing a Raizen High uniform and running on the streets and one is on a roof. 

“Shido? What the heck is he doing here? And who is that on the roof, another spirit? I better follow them,” Natsuro said to himself as he pulled out his phone while following the two entities.

“AST?!” Natsuro said in shock as he saw flying figures in the sky. 

He then dialed Neri’s number and said, “Sis, I found our friend Shido, the AST and a masked entity. The last might be a Spirit. Track my phone now,” Natsuro said to Neri as he followed the mysterious spirit stealthily

As the masked spirit stopped to observe the new spirit who had appeared, Natsuro landed on a higher nearby rooftop. He took a moment to observe the masked entity, it was wearing a swallowtail Tuxedo with a black and green color scheme alongside long black trousers to match, a black belt with a bag attached to it around his waist and a some sort of demonic mask covering its face. While the other spirit was a little girl with light blue hair and wearing some sort of baggy green Rabbit hoodie.

“XERAPHIEL!” he said with a medium volume while raising his left hand. As he did so, his Angel materialized. The Angel took the form of a bow made out of a tree branch with 5 rings on one of its sides and a vine as its string. 

He pulled the string and an arrow out of magic energy appeared. He released the arrow as the masked spirit began to move. It landed right in front of the masked spirit and made him jump back in shock in the process. Natsuro then proceeded to hop onto the spirit’s rooftop and walked towards him with the bow in left hand and the other on the string.
