Frank and Winston were walking along the river. They were not tired but frustrated by this helplessness. River got wider as they came further and the forest beside it got even denser.

"I just want to get out of this shithole as soon as possible" Frank mumbled with frustration, Winston gave him a stare without saying anything.

Suddenly, they heard something and both of them stopped.

"Did you hear that?" Winston whispered.

Frank looked into his eyes and whispered back,

"I think there is someone there" they kept standing in their places while looking towards the forest.

The sound was like something was crashing against the trees and leaves. And with every passing moment, the sound gets louder.

Winston and Frank kept staring in the direction of the sound, to see what was coming? And suddenly two eyes appeared into the darkness, like flames of fire, coming towards them. And then they notice the long tail and big teeth.

"Fuck it's a snake," Frank said, and start running, Winston also start running behind him.

"Fuck. This is the right time for you to use your magic, Winston" Frank shouted while running.

"I know. But I don't think it's coming" Winston shouted back, running behind Frank.

The snake came out of the jungle and tried to grab Winston, but instead, he fell into the river and started flowing with the water. Frank saw him falling and realised that It is the safest option for him to jump in the water.

The snake looks like an anaconda, but his skin was thicker, like a crocodile. It was nothing like they have seen before. This kind of snake is only found here. Snakes jump in the water behind them.

Snake starts going after both of them and trying to grope them with his teeth. The water in the river was flowing rapidly, and both of them along with snakes were flowing in it. The only advantage Frank and Winston have over the snake is the size.

With that speed of the water, it's getting hard for the snake to keep control over its body and movements. While Frank and Winston succeed in maintaining a distance from the snake and flowing with the water.

But there were stones in the water, which was frequently hitting both of them, while the snake was unaware of the stone because of his thick crocodile-like skin.

They kept floating in the river along with the snake while the snake continuously tried to grab them. But both of them know that they can't do that for a long time. Snakes can grab them at any moment,

"I wish, I would have brought my sword, then at least we would have a chance to fight" Winston shouted looking at Frank while tripping into water.

"Yeah, as if we know that we are going to end up in this shothole" Frank shouted back sarcastically while the snake tried to grab him again, but he saved himself getting down into the water.

Further, the river gets wider and the flow of water gets slower, and snakes start moving more rapidly towards them. Frank lost his balance and his right leg hit the rock so badly that it almost broke his bone.

The snake swam towards him and swung his mouth towards him, and this time Frank couldn't save himself, the snake grabbed him by the same leg that got hit earlier.

Long sword-like teeth went through his skin and bones and came out from another side. Blood was dripping from his legs into the river and he was screaming with pain. Winston swam through the water towards him, he picked up a sharp stone from the water and stabbed the snake.

But he was too thick for the stone to wound him. Winston tried frustratingly multiple times, to stab him but nothing happened. Then Winston closed his eyes and tried to control the air. But it was not happening. Frank was in the air hanging to the snake's teeth and looking at helpless Winston trying hard to save him.

Snake takes a look at Frank and puts him inside his mouth.

"Nooo, you son of bitch. Leave him. Leave him" Winston screamed in pain and helplessness.

This time he again closed his eyes and tried again, and something happened.

The water in the river created a circular wave around them. And the snake and Winston fell inside the waves. And both started tripping with the wave.

Soon Winston realised that it was not him who was making it, something shone on the other side of the wave. And it came straight tearing the wave into two. A sword with fire on it, chopped the snake into two.

Snake starts moving with the pain, both the side, the head has got separated from the tail, the sword cut him from the middle.

The tail is moving like it still can't believe that it's got separated from the head and the head is in shock seeing its own body separated from him. They both flutter in the pain for a while and then fall silent. Blood was flowing through them like water from the tap. And with all that blood everything around them turns red, a circular colourless wave turns reddish with all that blood.

Frank slipped down from the snake's head and fell coughing into the blood. Winston ran toward Frank to hold him,

"Are you alright?" Winston said, holding Frank by his shoulder, while Frank kept coughing and struggling to breathe. But he looked at Winston and told him with his eyes that he was fine. But his leg was bleeding like a leaking tap.

It was a woman wearing a silver-colored skin-tight dress, with some kind of logo on it, who came to their rescue. Winston didn't see her face, he didn't get a chance to see it. She came out so fast and killed the snake in a second. A wave goes down, and water separates to make a way for Winston and Frank to come out of the river.

Winston picked up Frank with both of his arms and carried him to the bank, through the path she created and put him against the tree. A woman came behind him walking, while behind her the path closed and the river started flowing as it is again.

Winston was trying to comfort Frank while, the woman stand behind him, the flame on her sword went down, and she said, looking towards Winston,

"Hello Winston, long time no see" Winston shocked with a familiar voice, he waited for the moment and then turned back to look at her, and as he saw her he was even more shocked to see her.

"Fiona?" He said with a surprising face. Until now Frank got normal breathing and looking towards Winston and his surprised face, he asked,

"Do you know her?" No one said anything.

"You need to do something about your wounds, excessive bleeding could be harmful to you," Fiona said looking at Frank. His leg was very critical and his bone was shattered by snakes' teeth.

"No I am fine, it's just too much..." and he screams a little while trying to move his leg.

"What are you doing? Don't move you idiot" Winston shouted looking at Frank. Frank didn't say anything, just kept looking at Winston and Fiona and the awkwardness between them.

"Firstly thank you very much for saving us, thank you," Frank said looking at Fiona. And she answered him with a smile and shook her head. Frank smiled back at her. Again the awkward silence stands between them. Frank looked at both of them again and couldn't resist but asked,

"I am sorry, but who are you? And how do you know him?" Frank asked again, looking at Fiona.

"I am Fiona, and we know each other from a past life. We used to be together, and I am…"

"And also the person who killed me," Winston interrupted her.
