Jerome and his team are back from Terra Praeta. They are separated, but fortunately soon find themselves back with one another, but not before going through a few Messengers.
The Messengers try to surround and overwhelm them with their numbers but Jerome reveals a new weapon that can take down Messengers in one shot — a rifle. But it’s not enough. He reveals a new technique using his fire attribute essence. He focuses a lot of fire power into a point until a bead of flame forms and turns white hot with barely contained energy. Then he releases it, bathing everything around in white flames, or shoots it at the enemy. He called this technique, Sun’s Kiss.

But more Messengers are coming. They are a clone army after all… an inexhaustible army of clones.
Jerome prepares, with an uneasy feeling growing inside him that the more they dally, the more Messengers come their way. And worse, the Judges might find them unprepared. He saves his friends, the Itakars, from an onslaught of clones and makes more weapons. At long last, they set out, teleporting three miles closer to the mountain in the distant east. But they teleport closer to the Judges.
The teams separate, and Jerome and his teammate plan for an attack to take out the three Judges.
