6. James's Fight

The next day Sin had finished ripping the soul out of the loan shark he had killed yesterday. He intended to feed the body to Seva and use the soul for his mana. He would have to wait tonight to feed her the body, for now he had school.

As Sin walked towards the school James saw him and ran towards him, Sin was met with an unforgettable odor that wad worse than some of the Demons he had killed!

"Hey Mark! I missed you after you ran away last time, what's up man?" James tried to make idle conversation and as he did so, he kept moving closer and closer to Sin.

"Would you mind not getting so close to me? I really dislike it." Sin looked James in the eyes as he said this

James began to tear up and moved away and simply said "I understand... buddy." They then walked far apart in silence to school.

When they finally reached the school doors Dylan was there waiting with a smug face. He looked as if he thought he owned the world.

"Hey Mark, you got my money?" Dylan said with a grin.

"Don't worry Mark I'll pay it" James said as je reached for his wallet, brought out 20 dollars and gave it to Dylan. Sin just watched this happen and didn't care, it really didn't have move to do with him.

Dylan swatted the money out of James's hand and said with a stiff expression "No. I asked him, you just messed up. Meet me after school James, I'll be waiting"

As Dylan left he slapped James on the head and ran towards his classroom. Sin ignored it all and walked as well, James was crying.

Sin soon entered his class and the teacher began explaining useless information, well useless to Sin at least. Then the day came and went, until it was the appointed time for James to go see Dylan.

'I may as well ensure James makes it out of this encounter alive.. who knows, may be he'll actually use his mana... yeah right.' Sin stealthily hid himself behind a corner near the school doors and awaited Dylan and James's arrival.

Soon they both entered, James began to cry again, he was afraid. He didn't have anything else to give Dylan and it was like Mark didn't even care he was his friend anymore. The old Mark would've went for James so he hadn't worried about too much all this time, but it seems its now his turn to be bullied.
